📍 Piazza Duca d'Aosta, 4/6, Central Station area, Milan

"The location is the best part about this hotel. It is literally right across the street from the main Milan train station. So if you have a train trip you can just walk across the street. However you will have to use transpiration to get to the Duomo area. The rooms were clean but small. The wall wooden panel in our room was detaching some areas (required maintenance)"

Ostelzzz Milano ★★
"Pretty expensive compared to the room size. I've requested lower bed in advance but I got the upper but they fixed for me at the end. If you have a heavy luggage and they get you the upper bed you have to lift your luggage up to put in the storage close to your bed. Good for very short stays and good location."

Scarlatti Hotel Milano ★★★★
"**1/5 — Do not stay here** Two serious incidents ruined this stay. First, the air conditioning: it was unbearably cold on night one, so we called reception to adjust it (yes, it can only be controlled from reception and not the room) — their remote fix caused it to switch off entirely for the next two nights. We called five times. It was never resolved. When we formally complained, the hotel refused any refund and told us "from what we see, the AC is working." Three nights of bad sleep with no accountability. Second: housekeeping staff knocked aggressively on our door despite us being inside and not requesting cleaning. When we returned to the room, our personal soft toys — brought from Singapore and precious to us — had been thrown on the floor. See the “before”and “after” photos. Not only did we have our mood affected from seeing this treatment, and thinking what else in the room was tampered with, we had to run around supermarkets trying to find cleaning supplies (yes, the floor is dirty). Management conducted an internal investigation, cleared their own staff, and never once explained how our belongings ended up there. Zero accountability, and no effort to make a proper apology or remedial action. On top of this: the area around the hotel feels unsafe at night with people loitering and following pedestrians. The toilet light is motion-activated and turns off while you're still inside. No slippers, no complimentary water. And the AC can only be controlled by calling reception — not from the room — which is what caused the whole fiasco to begin with. Every other hotel on our trip treated our belongings with care and a lot of love. This one did not, and their dismissive response to our complaints made everything worse. Not what you expect from a 4-star property."

"The room was very clean and comfortable. The location near the train station was convenient, with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. The only downside was the lack of a desk in the room, which made it inconvenient for working."

YellowSquare Milan ★★
"It's a bit far from the center of Milan! The front desk staff are incredibly friendly!! They give you a free drink coupon when you check in, and it seems like there's a party every night where guests can mingle. Anyway, it's definitely a great hostel for making friends!! I was a bit drained, so I just had my free drink and went upstairs. The curtains on the beds were amazing!!!!! But there's one fatal flaw!!!!! The bathroom looked clean, but the toilet seat was incredibly cold... Even so, it looked clean. Each room has a large locker, so bring a padlock. I'd probably stay here again if I come back!!"

"The location is fantastic! It's right by the Central Station, and the subway entrance is just downstairs, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The room was decent, and the shower had excellent water pressure. Plus, there's an express train to the airport directly from Central Station."

Spice Hotel Milano ★★★
"An extremely poor stay. The hygiene was terrible. The bathroom had no ventilation and stank the whole time. The bed sheets felt damp, and the air conditioning barely cooled the room. The drinking cups were disposable plastic. For over 1600 a night, it was incredibly bad value for money. I booked this hotel because of its high rating, but Ctrip really needs to review its overseas hotel ratings. I've never encountered such an issue when using Booking, **********, or Agoda before."
