5-Star Hotels in Madrid

The service was great, very warm and prompt. The room was a bit small, barely any space left after putting down our luggage, but it was clean, and the breakfast was good with a wide variety of choices.

This was my second stay here. The hotel has an excellent location, with a subway station right downstairs. Upon arrival, there were thoughtful snacks on the bed, and the toiletries were L'Occitane, with plenty of bottles provided. The best part, of course, was the large bar of soap, so I didn't have to ask the hotel for one. They also offer turn-down service. Additionally, the hotel thoughtfully provides charging adapters for Chinese guests, which is very convenient. For a hotel costing nearly 3000, it would be even better if the minibar were free. The breakfast was quite rich for a European hotel, though there were slightly fewer hot food options.

I came here because the reviews were good, and they definitely lived up to the hype. I hope the owners keep up the great work!

After a frustrating experience at the Sofitel in Lisbon, I was immediately put at ease by the warm and professional front desk staff upon arriving at the Four Seasons in Madrid. The bellhop who helped with my luggage to the room was also very enthusiastic, even offering to get me more water, to which I replied I would call if needed. The hotel's location, as expected, is right in the heart of the shopping district. The ambiance perfectly matches the hotel's standards. In contrast, the Oriental Mandarin in Barcelona had much smaller rooms. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay at the Four Seasons this time.

This hotel is incredibly 'designed'! If you stay here, you'll get to 'enjoy': a glass bathroom door that you can't see through at night, making it likely you'll just fall asleep in the bathroom 😵; a luggage rack too small for a 26-inch suitcase 🤷🏻♀️; a leaky, non-sealing shower door 💧; bedside pendant lights you'll bump your head on every time you look up 🌛; the privilege of refilling your reusable bottle with local tap water 🍶; and 'smart features' that weren't mentioned anywhere in the description 😃. On top of that, if you're on the fourth floor or above, you'll experience amazing soundproofing, with the rooftop bar serenading you to sleep 🛌. And the best part? A beautiful price of 2500 RMB per night in the off-season! 💰 I haven't experienced a hotel like this in many places. What a truly 'novel' experience! 👍🏻

Went to meet a friend at their cafe and was very impressed with the black and gold colour scheme throughout the lobby and the cafe area. The cafe has a nice seating layout with very comfortable sofa’s and some decent arm chairs. The service is also second to none & the coffee was really nice. It also was rather reasonably priced considering the location. Would definitely recommend it if you’re in the area :)

If I had known the suite would have a sofa bed and two single beds, I wouldn't have booked it. The cleanliness and environment were quite good. The room was spacious, and there was a large supermarket a few hundred meters away. The microwave was very convenient. I asked room service for a bottle opener, and they charged me 6 euros. I later returned it. Remember, delivery to the room costs money, but picking it up at the front desk downstairs is free.

The location is very good, close to Puerta del Sol and Retiro Park. However, the cleaning staff had a bad attitude and often opened the door directly into the room. I stayed for three nights and only made the bed one night. One night when I returned to the hotel, I found that the door card for power supply had been pulled out. There were hairs on the towels in the bathroom. The mini bar was not replenished in time. As a five-star hotel, there are many areas that need improvement.

We stayed at The Madrid Edition while celebrating my friend’s 40th birthday in Spain, and it was the perfect choice for the trip. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special and well thought out. The hotel kindly surprised us with complimentary cava and a birthday cake, which was such a lovely touch and made the celebration even more memorable. We had also requested a flower arrangement in advance, and it was done beautifully—exactly as we had hoped. The location is another huge advantage. The hotel sits right in the middle of the city, making it extremely convenient to walk to restaurants, bars, and shopping areas. It made exploring Madrid effortless. What truly stood out was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only small downside was the room ambience lighting felt a little too dim at times. Aside from that minor detail, everything—from the lobby and facilities to the rooms—was excellent. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend The Madrid Edition to anyone visiting Madrid, especially for a special occasion.

The location was perfect for us. Short walking distance to all central parts you'd want to visit. The staff and lobby are also perfect. The rooms are dated, but then again it wasn't crazy expensive so it's fair enough.
