JJinjindezhuazhuniThis is a six-person dormitory room with bunk beds. The toilets and showers are shared and located outside the room. It's best to bring your own slippers, towels, and toothbrush. There's a large common area on the second floor with bowls, chopsticks, and a microwave. Breakfast is available for an extra charge. It's advisable to bring your own padlock for the individual lockers provided, and keep valuables with you at all times.
The location is absolutely fantastic and super convenient. It's less than a ten-minute walk to Sol metro station, Puerta del Sol, Mercado de San Miguel, Plaza Mayor, and the Royal Palace.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of Madrid, about 1KM from the Royal Palace. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate. Housekeeping cleaned it daily, keeping it very tidy. However, there was no kettle or fridge in the room, and the soundproofing wasn't great.

FFanYangA Pleasant Stay with Warm Hospitality
It’s always a pleasant stay at this hotel. Although it's a budget hotel, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially want to highlight the young lady who assisted me during check-in—she was so kind and welcoming. She provided me with all the necessary information about breakfast locations, nearby laundry services, and more. That was very helpful and much appreciated.
The hotel's location is also very strategic. There are plenty of eateries nearby, and it’s close to both the bus and train stations. The room itself was simple but clean. Everyone at the hotel is polite and friendly, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
If I could suggest a few areas for improvement, they would be:
1. Provide a kettle in the room – Hot water for drinking is important for me, and having a kettle would be very convenient.
2. Install proper blackout curtains – This would help guests sleep better by blocking out excess light.
3. Offer laundry services – Having an in-house laundry option would be useful, especially for longer stays.
Other than these suggestions, everything else was perfect. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and truly appreciate the warm hospitality shown by all the staff. Thank you!
GGuest UserTerrible check-in experience. Couldn't reach anyone by phone. Wasted 2 hours waiting outside the hotel. The app wouldn't accept my details, even with the help of other guests who also had issues. Finally got it sorted thanks to a kind operator. Too much stress and wasted time.
SSwaterfieldI was in a shared female dorm. Nice bed and location. A towel was provided but be prepared for a cold water shower. No real kitchen to speak of. Just a small iced over fridge and microwave. It’s in a nice location and easy to walk to all the hot spots.

GGuest UserThis was a converted apartment, with private bedrooms and shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. The place was impressively clean throughout our stay, with cleaners coming through each morning. You are also provided a key to lock the bedroom door so we didn't have any concerns about security. Wifi also worked fine and there was mobile reception (this must've been fixed from older reviews).
Having access to a kitchen made it easy to have breakfast in and you are allocated a shelf in the communal fridge. The other guests were very respectful, which helped create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. That said, it’s worth noting this is not a party-style stay — it works best if everyone is mindful that it’s a shared environment as noise does travel through the hallway.
The bedroom itself was large and spacious, with plenty of wardrobe space.
Location-wise, it’s slightly outside the very centre — not right in the middle of the action — but still very accessible. We were about a 20-minute walk to Plaza Mayor and ended up walking most places, and there’s also a metro station less than 5 minutes away if needed.
Overall, a great option if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-connected place to stay in Madrid, especially if you don’t mind being just outside the busiest areas.
GGuest UserThe Room was ok. However, the bathroom was often dirty, what not really the fault of the staff is but because of people not being considered of the shared bathroom.
LLovelyCnThis hostel offers a very good balance between price and quality. The room, bathroom, sheets, and towels are clean. The location is very central, yet it is completely quiet on the third floor. Check-in may be complicated for non-Spanish-speaking guests, as you do not receive any information prior to arrival. Shampoo and shower gel are provided. The air conditioning is new and works very well. This place opened in 2023.

TTKM3The place looked clean at first glance, but the shower curtain had severe mold. Two out of four toilets were out of order due to a broken stall. The beds swayed a lot even with the slightest movement, and even when still, they felt wobbly and unstable. It was quite scary, I was worried they might collapse. Considering it's not a budget hotel, I think more maintenance is needed. The location, however, was convenient. Personally, I found it very annoying when some rude guests were loudly talking on the phone late at night and their phone kept beeping with incoming messages.
