It is a 3 stars hotel so don’t have high expectations about the rooms, furnitures and appliances are tired and worn out, you pay extra if you want A.C or a safe, and the building itself where we stayed was flooded during some heavy rain in the night. Buuut it was clean overall, towels changed every 2 days. Pool area very nice, although it had a few wires that needed tucking in. We had half board, breakfast it was ok, same every day. Dinner was very good, different choices and very tasty. Allykanas beach which is very close , is the most dull beach on the island. We rented a car and seen all the amazing beaches and views ! Zante is one of the most beautiful greek islands! So if you don’t intend to spend your time in the hotel, Letsos will do. It is a 3 stars hotel by all means, maybe 2 stars in some areas.

My husband and I travelled here just for a 5 day break. I was nervous about coming as the reviews were very mixed. BUT we couldn't fault it. It is in a great the location. The beach is just a 5 minute walk away and plenty of lovely restaurants to choose from. We had a deluxe room. It was Very clean and we got fresh towels every day. We would 100% come back and even bring the kids next time.

Just returned after 9 nights bed and breakfast in a standard apartment. Basic apartment couple of problems but resolved straight away. All staff very friendly and breakfast was okay. Lovely pool called Nisos but there lots of broken sunbeds and we noticed poolside area was never cleaned during 9 nights we were there (sunbeds and grounds arround dirty). Overall we would go back if hotel was refurbished and pool area cleaned up.

We love the resort and decided to stay at a central located hotel. The shower doors did not join so water spilled onto bathroom.floor plus the drain filled up and the smell of rotten sewage filled the bathroom as well as the bedroom.if you went for a shower after 7pm not hot water for a hotel this expect hot water anytime of the day So many people had issue with rooms and the receptionist always said we have no spare rooms ,but if you paid to upgrade the then found you a room ,amazing if you pay more money?? When asked if we could keep room on on last day as late evening flight was told to come back the morning of your flight and we will let you know ,we had to go back twice to ask and he told flatly no as all rooms full ,both myself and my husband's both unwell along with several other guests I was glad to leave and will not be a returning guest even if you paid me to stop at this hotel .staff on reception very rude and not helpful ,this is the first-ever review I have written in over 25 years travelling to Greece and always never had to voice my opinion, please beware and choose your hotel carefully ,we will be visiting Alykanas again but will choose a smaller cleaner hotel with we!coming owners and staff

We’ve just got back from a week at the letsos, overall was a good stay. It’s a perfect location right on the Alykanas main road. Where all the restaurants and shops are and a short stroll to the beach. It’s perfect for couple and family’s that are not wanting to be surrounded by crazy nightlife. The lady at the reception was very welcoming and friendly . The star of the show for this hotel is the pool and the nisos restaurant! The pool is amazing. I do not have a bad word to say about it loads Of sunbeds with comfy cushions , all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. Stephen and Mario were absolutely amazing to us and all the guest the whole week and our holidays wouldn’t have been the same without their outstanding service. The food is incredible and I love that you can order from your sunbed and they bring all your food and drinks to you. We stayed in a standard room but next time I will definitely pay the extra to upgrade and the rooms are very basic. No full length mirror, there are a lot of ants and the running water can be abit dodgy at times ( either cold or the shower just doesn’t work) you do have to pay €50 for the week for the air con plus €25 for the safe and the tourist tax so bare this in mind when booking this hotel. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely week. Especially to Stephen and Mario were guys went above and beyond and our holiday wouldn’t have been the same without you!

All I'm gonna say is be prepared to arrive and them to tell you your room isn't available this happened to 3 couples when we were there including ourselves. They will put you in a deluxe room then charge you £250 more to stay in it if your lucky some payed £350! We stayed in a deluxe family room which was really nice although I wouldn't say deluxe as when using the shower water ran out from under the door and flooded under the bed! We were tired as arrived late in the evening but I complained to our travel provider whom then emailed the hotel reception basically to be told a load of lies so you won't get a refund even tho they are to blame for the inconvenience They took 2 young girls to another block of rooms right up the street which they said was in terrible condition so they felt under pressure to upgrade. The actual hotel grounds and pool were lovely no complaints there. Please please don't overlook this review this does happen and I honestly think they do it on purpose to fill the deluxe rooms.

Upon arriving at the Letsos Hotel, we were greeted by Yiota who was absolutely lovely and welcomed us to the hotel, arranged for someone to show us to the room and let us know about the various things to do in town and that if we needed any transfers/excursions we could book them at the hotel. We were given the option to pay for Air con and a safe, we had originally booked a standard family room. We got into our room which was ok if a little dated in terms of decor and facilities but would have been ok. I went downstairs to ask about getting the Air con (which will be a must for me in the weather) and was offered the choice of upgrading to their superior room which came with air con in both floors of the room. This room was modern, much better facilities and had a separate shower room and toilet downstairs and a further shower and toilet upstairs. We felt this would suit us and our children better so opted to take it. We asked for extra pillows and were given some, all the staff in the hotel were pleasant but Yiota was really personable. Then you have the pool, a lovely large pool with a big bar in the middle that was accessible to anyone that was in the area. Considering we went in school holidays and that this is clearly the best pool in the whole of alykanas and had a pool bar serving food and drinks throughout the day, we never had an issue getting sun loungers. We might have not always been able to get the cushions if we were not at the pool early enough but always managed to get a spot. The bar staff were all friendly and they had people walking around the pool to take orders from your lounger. The food they served was nice and the beers cold! My overall thoughts are that for the price we paid in total it was a reasonable cost, I definitely felt the superior room (upgraded) was really nice and worth what Yiota offered it to me for. If you opt for the cheaper standard room expect it to be somewhere you just want to get your head down, sleep and have a wash/shower but not spend too much time in. Again, Thanks to Yiota, All the hotel staff and the Nisos Pool bar team for accommodating us on a lovely stay!

This review is about the hotel only. As the pool is privately owned by others. It isn’t owned by the hotel!!!! The hotel is fine and that’s about it. The room was plain and simple but fine, it needed an upgrade but not end of the world. We went for the cheapest room so wasn’t expecting much so it was fine. The beds were very comfy for the first few nights then after a while both our back hurt as they sadly don’t offer support for your back. They’re too soft. Many reviews on here talk about the pool being amazing. Which to be fair it is a very nice pool with lovely people but it isn’t owned by the hotel it is completely separate so I won’t be reviewing it as part of the hotel. We got half board and the food is underwhelming. The breakfasts were not great literally the same thing every morning, so we got very fed up with eating very oily bacon every day with no variety so near end of week we just skipped it all together. Dinners are better but the selection every night is tiny, not varied at all each night differs from the last but you don’t get much of a choice if you don’t end up liking the 1/2 options they give you. Your screwed if your vegan or even veggie as the options for that were very slim like plain spaghetti and water melon. The room was cleaned every day and giving fresh towels so that’s really good. Air conditioning did work for us and is worth it. You do have to pay extra but we spoke to many other people on the island and this is the norm for Greece every other tourist we spoke to said there hotel charged extra for air conditioning also. Over all the hotel is just very meh. Was going to give 2* but the cleaners and kitchen staff made it a 3* as they are all very nice and polite. It’s fine nothing special about it rooms need updating and a few things need fixing. WiFi works but not great in evening, food pretty ok breakfast trash but dinner (when it’s something you want) is actually pretty good. If you paid for a high end room might be different experience but this is what to expect when paying for the cheapest room. Nothing special nothing horrid. Next time I’ll likely stay in a different hotel but still use the pool as it’s owned by others it’s completely open to the island.

When we arrived at the hotel the reception staff were very unwelcoming. The woman who dealt with us and showed us to our room was acting like she just couldn’t be bothered and didn’t want to be at work. We booked a deluxe room which was across the road. The room was nice but a lot smaller than it looks in the website. To say it’s self catering you only get a fridge with a small freezer and a kettle a few cups and tea spoon. We also had to pay tax and pay for the air con upstairs and downstairs for the room. This came to £200 euros for the 10 days. We soon realised the air con upstairs didn’t work. The lady on reception said we could have swapped room but we said we’d stay where we were as the air con downstairs was enough. The upstairs one wasn’t really needed. We were given a refund for the upstairs air con we’d paid. The shower cubicle & toilet had a horrible smell of sewerage coming from it. We had to buy some bleach to put down the drain to stop this. The beds are comfy. Very thin blanket provided. The pool area and food is lovely. They fetch food and drinks to your sun lounger. I noticed a sewerage smell around the pool area but I think that’s just Greece and you get used to it. The hotel itself is in a good location for the beach and restaurants etc. There is horse and cart which you can take to other nearby areas such as the harbour. The beach is lovely. We took a jet ski out for £70 euros for 2 for 15 minutes which we thought was reasonable. We also hired a private boat to shipwreck beach which I’d highly recommend. The se is so blue and beautiful out there. The area which had the deluxe rooms backs onto a main road which is very noisy on a night. For a 3 star I’d say it’s ok. We won’t be going back to it though.
