Hotels near Xocəsən Mədəniyyət Evi, Baku

I stayed here during my stay in Baku and was really impressed with the hotel. The service at reception is warm, welcoming & helpful. The room was located on the 5th floor and well presented & very comfortable bed (which I needed as I was exhausted after sightseeing and travelling from neighbouring Georgia). The breakfast is plentiful and the hotel is located 5 minutes walk from Nizami Street & 15 minutes to the seafront. I would stay here again!

I stayed at a corner suite with incredible view of city and sea. Hotel has several restaurants, bars and a spa. One thing is missing at this hotel which is service level. Im not completely sure if its locals attitude or training but most employees need serious work to match the hotel status. Front Desk in general are the most well trained team, however I went to the main restaurant once and it was horrible from the receptionist to the working team. Another disaster team serves at Bar19. Hostess nor bartender had no clue what screw driver cocktail was and didn’t bother to even google it!!! Bar team seamed completely clueless and lost. Spa receptionist is very unprofessional she just wants you to cancel instead of selling packages! Hotel itself is iconic property but it lacks vibe and class. I hope it will only gets better next time I visit Baku.

I am still in this hotel and expects to check out next day. First thing first, I booked 2 nights and the first room they allocated was 323. Noisy from karaoke or band till 11.30Pm even with soundproofing. The bed, kingsize but on the right side sank and if you were to roll to the left side you will feel it feels higher and also the design of the toilet is atrocious seemingly clean at a glance but look closer. The toilet hanger is so high up only tall people can reach the towels. I feedback and was given another room 325. It was better but cleanliness of toilet is still substandard. Next, I checked out after the 2nd night when I queried if I could stow my luggage in the hotel to stay in Sheki for 1 night. They accepted to store my luggage. The day after, I return to check in again for 1 more night and this is my last night in this country. When I enquired with the reception about my luggage, he went out of the reception went to the lobby corner and pull my luggage. I was horrified to see all these while it was not stowed properly in a store room but pushed at one corner of the hotel lobby out in the open where there is a lot of traffic. When enquired with the staff why is this so, he did not response and looked *****ic at me. When I arrived from Tbilisi I had encountered attempted theft from tbilisi airport and now this. This is too much stress for a holiday. The reason for choosing this hotel is because they are near the old city and they have a lift. Find elsewhere they have no regards for people's property.

I don’t normally take the time to review places but considering that they market themselves as a 5 star hotel I want to make sure other people considering this hotel know what to expect at least. For context We stayed in this hotel for a week as a family (2 kids) in a connecting family room. First off when we arrived and checked in, the guy at reception said they would check our documents and to please wait in their restaurant. We ordered some drinks and waited. Meanwhile suddenly they start blasting Indian music so loud in the restaurant (it was only us and another family there) that we had to go ask them if they could please turn it back down again. I don’t know for who or why they put the music on so loud. This also happened when we ate breakfast one morning. After maybe 20 minutes we went to ask reception how check in was going and were only told that “they were checking”. We decided to go and get some late lunch since we didn’t know how long we needed to wait for them to “check” whatever they were checking. If the room wasn’t ready, it wouldn’t have been a problem if they simply said so and gave us a time frame for when it would be ready. But this was a taste of the service to come unfortunately. We had a connecting family room that had one bathroom to share. The master bedroom had only a window which was a small and by the ceiling facing out into the hallway (so no external window) which meant it was like sleeping with lights on all night as the hallway light were always on. In this case perhaps a curtain for that window would be good or installing sensor lights in the hallway so the light isn’t on unless someone is there. The rooms were SO warm and when we went to check about the air conditioning they told us it wasn’t working or they didn’t have it. (Not sure which was the correct answer) They couldn’t give us a straight answer. They told us the heating had been on the night before but that they had now switched it off and allowed for “air” instead. So whatever control you have in your room is basically useless. When we asked if they could allow for the air conditioning to be turned on they just told us they would sort it out but nothing got done. We had to sleep with the only external window open during the night so at least our kids could be more comfortable. Other important things to note - we got 2 towels for 4 people. We asked them to bring 2 more which wasn’t done. Only when we saw a cleaner outside in the hallway one evening (3 nights into our stay) did we get 2 more. - there was no cleaning the whole week. We asked for more water, asked if someone would come to at least remove the garbage and they told us they would send someone but never did. - as shown in the photos, one of the single beds was broken underneath. - several sheets/duvet covers were broken, one example shown in the photos. - there was cigarette burns on the double bed headboard despite it being a non-smoking room. In order to see F1, close to the track, many Ferrari and Alfa Romeo team staff also live here, next to the train station, the bus stop to the airport is also opposite the hotel, the subway station is also 5 minutes away, the location is very Ok, 28may shopping mall is nearby, the hotel breakfast is also very good, the first day we arrived early, not yet to enter the room, the front desk warmly let us go to the restaurant to eat a free breakfast, the room is also very large, also from With kitchen equipment, microwave oven, living room is also quite large, the hotel belongs to IHG, non-competition period, the price will be higher.

Great location, varied breakfast, large room for average money

第一次阿塞拜疆之旅，訂酒店時我真是猶豫了很久。最後還是定了離古城地鐵站很近的巴庫國際旅行社喜來登酒店。 從結論説，訂在巴庫國際旅行社喜來登酒店是正確的，性價比非常高。 1.離古城地鐵站非常近，走路10分鐘左右。到古城也是步行十幾分鍾。 酒店大門右邊有地下通道，穿過後就是海濱公園看裏海。裏海側房間和餐廳可以看到漂亮的海景，無任何遮擋，每天看着日出吃早餐，真是太幸福。 2.離地毯博物館非常近，幾百米 3.幾百米就有一個大商場，超市，買東西方便 4.這次入住還有一個小插曲，我當天辦理入住後，發現房間跟我預訂的房型有出入，就和前台反應。結果，當天剛剛有一個大的旅遊團入住沒房間了，前台的Samad先生和金髮碧眼的美女經理Elvira積極的幫我們解決問題，貼心的贈送我們點心，水果等，而且還附上了一張手寫的卡片。 從這裏可以看出，巴庫國際旅行社喜來登酒店的員工訓練有素，員工互相以及上下級之間的溝通準確，高效，給人感覺是所有員工都在共同努力提供最好的服務。而且Elvira經理還經常去餐廳檢查菜品，見到我們在用餐，馬上過來詢問有無問題，休息的如何等。我在日本二十多年，曾就業於日本的航空公司，自認為日本的服務世界一流，沒想到在阿塞拜疆的巴庫國際旅行社喜來登酒店也體驗到了不輸於日本的服務。 再説餐廳也是非常好，早餐種類豐富，菜品也經常換，每一位廚師都兢兢業業的工作，不衹是做菜，就連客人的一切都在關注，一次夾菜時，如果不小心，夾子會碰到菜品上面的照明燈，馬上兩個廚師就把菜品上方几個燈都調整了。麪包裏最推薦牛角包派類的，新烤的，酥酥脆脆的非常好吃。當然，全麥類，果仁類麪包也很好。餐廳的Murad先生還特意用中文和我們打招呼，經常過來看我們需要什麼，然後給我們端來熱熱的咖啡或茶。他們時刻在關注客人們，真心能感受到他們的熱情服務。 關於毛巾，礦泉水，拖鞋等打電話給前台，客房服務的帥哥馬上就送來了，非常快，在巴庫國際旅行社喜來登酒店住了八晚，每次都是這樣，非常好 結束了這次阿塞拜疆巴庫之旅回到了家，還要衷心感謝以美女經理Elvira為首的所有酒店員工，讓我的旅行有了很多很好的體會和新的感受。下次去阿塞拜疆巴庫還希望能入住巴庫國際旅行社喜來登酒店。再次多謝所有的工作人員。

First what I want to mention that is location is very good almost everything is nearby, Ilkin from reception have helped us a lot during our stay and was super friendly. He has suggested us nice places to visit as well which we loved. Breakfast was fine not so many options but the guy at the breakfast was super kind and helpful, his name is also Ilkin. Murad from bell team very supportive and with good manners, Sadakat housekeeping supervisor with her team helped us so many times with our inquiries. And their manager very humble and good mannered guy whom you can ask for any help without hesitation which he can assist you to solve. We had some issue with the room on the first day and Ilkin helped us to move to another room within the next day. There is some construction works in front of the hotel right now which disturbs sometimes and won’t let you enjoy with sea view. We had reserved the room for 2 days from 30th of April until 2nd of May, but during our stay we decided to extend until 6th of May because location is really good. Hotel team should work on their foodcourt to make it better.

I had a great stay at ibis Baku on my trip to Baku, this was my 2nd trip and 2nd stay at the same hotel, rooms are still refreshing and looks quite new and updated, every other facilities are available which is mandatory , the staff is courteous and helpful in all the aspects. My special thanks to Mr. Bashir ( Duty Manager) for helping me and assisting through out the stay. He really goes out of his way to make sure the guests are happy and satisfied. Thanks to the other team members namely - Rufat and Naila as they kept meeting me all the time when I was at hotel during my stay, Overall a decent stay to remember and would definitely be coming again and again once I am in Baku again. Helpful Personl, Wonderfull Hotel During my stay everything was perfect.Nice and comfortable rooms, small but sweety terrace and tasty meals. There is a small terrace in outside for drink something in the morning so felling better.Breakfast more turkish meals and snacks. Speacial personal so friendly and helpfull. Hotel near H.Aliyev international airport.
