JiaoxilaoshiThis is by far the best onsen hotel I've ever stayed in! It's located around Jozankei town, with a shuttle bus service from Sapporo, making it very private and quiet. The room is spacious enough, and the private onsen is excellent – my skin felt so smooth after a soak. The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows were quite high-tech. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a healing view of the snowy landscape, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a raccoon! The service was top-notch, patient and enthusiastic. I have to rave about the food at this hotel; the Italian dinner was incredible, every dish was superb, using seasonal local ingredients and beautifully presented. After dinner, you can even take some rice balls, desserts, and drinks back to your room. The hotel has a smoking room and vending machines, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. I'd love to come back again in the summer if I get the chance.

Had a very wonderful stay at this place. It’s more like a service apartment but the service beats a regular hotel. I had a very small tattoo but desperately wanted to go to an onsen, front office staff ayako-san very kindly offered to help me call the onsen to check. She also recommended another onsen nearer and followed up when she saw me the next day.
The room was warm and big, loved the bath system.
Do note that they only have a traditional tv, not a smart one.

GW stevenThey say a skinny camel is still bigger than a horse! The Park Hotel is supposedly being torn down and rebuilt next year because it's quite old and worn out.
However, this doesn't detract from its grandeur or excellent location. The hotel is superbly situated within Nakajima Park, surrounded by lush greenery, and boasts a magnificent and grand main entrance. The lobby is incredibly spacious and luxurious.
There are many staff members, all smiling and politely greeting guests, always ready to offer a helping hand when needed.
We stayed on the fifth floor. The elevators are very fast, and we rarely had to wait. It's about a ten-minute walk to Tanukikoji, Susukino, and Odori Park, which is very convenient.
The room size was normal. The facilities were indeed a bit dated, but the cleanliness was excellent, and the service was prompt and orderly. It didn't affect our stay experience at all.
It's a shame that we're witnessing the closing of what must have once been a magnificent grand hotel. But we hope that a brand new, luxurious hotel will rise in its place in the future!
I intentionally didn't book breakfast when making the reservation.
The outdoor parking lot outside the main entrance is quite spacious and easy to park in. However, the fee isn't cheap; we paid 2500 for the first night and 2000 for the second. You get a parking ticket upon entry and need to have it stamped at the front desk when leaving. Then, you show it to the parking attendant. We settled the total of 4500 with the attendant after two days. It's convenient, but a bit pricey.

AliciatadahWe only had 1 night to stay in this beautiful paradise 🥲🤍
It was the best stay of our 10 day trip in Japan and we would definitely be back to stay here again 🤍
Location: in the Jozankei Onsen town that’s about an hour + out of Sapporo. Honestly if you’re in a group, just book a cab out, it was about $80++ for 3 of us! Otherwise remember to book the Onsen bus shuttle early in advance 🥹
Area around Onsen is nothing much besides other Onsen houses, a small cafe and other smol tourist picture spots.
Back to the Ryokan: this was my first experience being in one and I’m so glad I chose this place! Mum and sister throughly enjoyed it as well, using our in room Onsen ( there’s 2!) and also the shared common Onsen with an outdoor facing the snow too ❄️☃️♨️
Service:The staff was extremely polite and efficient, seeing the reviews of them being rude was kinda uncalled for. They were nothing but kind and attentive. It is a very quiet and peaceful place , I understand the need for all guests to be maintain the atmosphere too.
Food: amazing, one of the best meals I’ve had in Japan so far ♥️ the pictures below speaks for itself 🥹 private dining room to enjoy the view too🏔️
Loved small touches too like the mikimoto soaps , Dyson hair dryers ( in the public Onsen) And the chopstick souvenirs 🥹
I can’t wait to come back here again with my partner 🤍

Summer travelersWe visited as a family of four (two adults and two children) for two nights and truly appreciated several aspects of our time here:
Spacious & Spotless Room:
The accommodations were exceptionally clean and spacious, offering lovely surrounding views.
Comfortable Bedding:
Both the bed and pillows were remarkably comfortable, making for a restful sleep.
Thoughtful Amenities:
Having all necessary toiletries fully prepared and ready upon arrival was greatly appreciated.
Few areas of concern to your attention so they may be addressed for future guests:
Breakfast Queue:
The waiting times and long queues for the morning breakfast buffet were quite significant.
Onsen Water Supply Interruption:
On our second night, the water supply in the onsen area was suddenly suspended while guests were actively showering. This was particularly inconvenient for those left with shampoo and soap to rinse, and unfortunately, it prevented us from enjoying the onsen on our final morning.
Ice Cream Machine Malfunction:
The ice cream machine served liquid instead of proper soft-serve during our visit. We do, however, appreciate how promptly the team responded and fixed the issue once informed.

Zack liauTerrible service and frustrating check in experience with a misleading listing
While the cleanliness and amenities of the property were excellent, the service and check in process were incredibly frustrating.
To be fair, we missed the host’s initial message, which caused some early hiccups. However, the actual on the spot setup is completely unfriendly for self check in. The lobby area requires an access code just to enter. If another group of guests had not happened to walk out and let us in, we would have been stuck outside the building entirely. Once inside, the check in tablet machine was faulty and did not work, forcing us to message the host to manually get our entry password.
The most disappointing part was the host's attitude regarding baggage storage. We specifically checked that the listing included baggage storage before booking this hotel. Yet, when we asked about it before checking out, the host simply told us no and told us to go use a chargeable baggage locker at the train station instead. When I pointed out that it was explicitly listed on their profile, they just claimed it was a mistake and offered no real solution. To make it worse, we literally saw other guests' luggage stored in the lobby, meaning the host just chose either not to help us or they do not care.
The rooms are nice, but the total lack of basic hospitality and misleading information ruined the stay. Would not recommend if you value reliable service because there is no service to begin with.

One full length mirror in the apartment would be helpful. A table or chair in each bedroom would also be good. Although all amenities were provided, we had to buy our own hand soap. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much. Location was very convenient with two big supermarkets within 10 mins’ walk, Lawsons also very close-by. The property has free parking and about 10-15 min drive into the centre of Sapporo.

Devendra NI had a wonderful experience at this hotel in Sapporo. They kindly allowed me an early check-in, which made my trip so much more comfortable and stress-free.
The interior design is beautiful and modern, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the human-less (self) check-in system — it was smooth, quick, and very convenient.
The highlight of my stay was definitely the amazing jacuzzi bathtub. It was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the city.
Overall, this was one of my best stays in Sapporo. Highly recommended!
