Melaka Hotels with Balcony

I loved everything about this hotel. The decor is a beautiful blend of heritage charm and modern elegance, and the reception area always smelled wonderfully fragrant, making it feel welcoming the moment you stepped inside. On our first day, after walking around Jonker Street, I actually passed by the hotel from the opposite direction and said, “What a lovely place this is!” before my husband laughed and said, “It’s our hotel!” That pretty much sums up how charming the property is. It’s excellent value for money, especially considering all the thoughtful complimentary touches, from the well-stocked minibar to the delicious pineapple tarts delivered during afternoon tea. Breakfast was another highlight, with a great selection of local delicacies, and you can also order freshly prepared dishes. Most importantly, the location is fantastic. Jonker Street and many of Melaka’s main attractions are just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot. I would happily stay here again.

The room is very nice and located just at the redhouse area, walking distance to jonker street, recommended. They give welcome drinks during checkin and the staff is friendly. We got a free totebag also. One thing is noise insulation not the best they provide earplugs for this 😂

The location is great, just a few doors away from the BaBa House which just happen to be a lot more renovated and furnished and they charged $250 for the same period i stayed in at Hereen Palm Suites which cost me $105 via Trip.com. It is just 3 minutes walk to Jonker Street and is on the quieter side so you dont get bothered by car traffic and human yet is convenient enough to all the shops and eateries. The whole place has only 10 suites and the rooms are HUGE and clean. Bathroom is huge and water pressure is great and heater works very well, if i am to be picky, it will be complete if they have a bathtub and they should install some toilet hangers for the clothes when you shower. The room aircon is via concealed vents , so its well distributed compared to a standalone FCU unit. Aside from teh bed there is also a daybed in the room, which is comfy and great for lazing and watching the TV. The only flaw i can pick is the mini fridge was not working in my room. Outside of the room, i wish they can open the window in the common area/ corridor, as all the internal space are really not ventiated and they dont turn on the A/C, so you cannot really enjoy the common spaces. Overall, its super value for money and breakfast provided was quite good spread and tasty enough, no complains given that its complimentary. I would give it 8/10 rating.

The room itself was nice, clean and comfortable, and the jacuzzi was one of the main reasons I chose this room. We were actually able to enjoy the jacuzzi on the first day when we arrived, and it looked great. Unfortunately, the following day we had no water for around half a day. When the water supply returned, the water was heavily yellow/discoloured. The water remained this way for around a day and a half until we checked out, so we were unable to use the jacuzzi for the rest of our stay. This was particularly disappointing because I specifically booked a room with a jacuzzi as part of an early birthday getaway with my girlfriend. We were looking forward to using it throughout the stay, but ultimately only got to enjoy it on our first day. Another inconvenience was that the telephone in the room wasn’t working, so when the water issue occurred, I had to go down to reception personally to report it. I understand that the initial water problem may have been caused by circumstances outside the hotel’s control, especially since it happened during Merdeka Day. However, the fact that the water remained visibly discoloured for such a long period significantly affected our stay and meant that we couldn’t properly enjoy one of the main facilities we had paid for. I raised the issue again during checkout and requested compensation. The hotel subsequently contacted me via WhatsApp and provided RM100 compensation, which I appreciate. I’m glad they followed up and acknowledged the inconvenience. Overall, the room itself was nice and the jacuzzi was great when we were able to use it. Unfortunately, the water issue affected most of our stay and meant we couldn’t enjoy the jacuzzi for the remainder of the trip. Hopefully the hotel can resolve the water supply issue so future guests won’t have the same experience.

We stayed at the RC Hotel in Malacca for 3 consecutive nights. We booked a deluxe twin room with a window. Upon check-in at the front desk, we had to pay a RM100 cash deposit. We also paid a heritage tax of RM9. The hotel's location is super convenient! We took the M100 bus from Malacca Sentral Station, which cost RM1 per person, for 4 stops to the Ibis Hotel station, then walked about 400 meters to reach the hotel. Within 1km of the hotel, you can walk to Jonker Street, the Stadthuys (Dutch Square), St. Paul's Church, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, and the Zheng He Memorial Museum, among other famous attractions. There are also many delicious tea houses and Nyonya restaurants nearby. A taxi to the Malacca Straits Mosque takes about 15 minutes one way and costs approximately RM10. The front desk staff were friendly and arranged for us to stay in room 112. The window overlooked a street, and the room was spacious and well-equipped. We didn't need a converter plug for our domestic mobile phones, as they could be charged directly. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and there was a mini-fridge and a kettle. Complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, bath towels, razors, cotton swabs, slippers, toilet paper, shower gel, and instant coffee/tea bags were provided. The bathroom was wet/dry separated, and the room had a drying rack and hangers. The downside was that there were some ants in the room. Additionally, on the third day of our stay, no staff came to clean the room until 5:30 PM. We informed the front desk to arrange cleaning as soon as possible when we went out for dinner. When we returned, it was indeed cleaned, but strangely, our own blue bear-patterned towel and our own mouthwash cup, which we had been using fine for the past two days and left in the bathroom, were gone. Also, they didn't replenish disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, cotton swabs, etc. Since we were checking out the next morning to go to Kuala Lumpur, and these were minor issues, we didn't bother to communicate with the front desk again. We hope the hotel pays more attention to detail and standardizes its cleaning procedures. Such behavior of arbitrarily discarding guests' personal belongings is truly baffling. For a trip to Malacca, I highly recommend staying at least two nights to slow down and enjoy the unique charm of this small city. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening, Jonker Street has bustling street markets and various small performances. A leisurely stroll along the Malacca River in the quiet morning and evening hours is truly delightful. At the crossroads near Malacca Pay Fong Middle School, there is a large durian stall offering various Black Thorn durians from RM18 to RM48 per kg, as well as Langsat fruit for RM6 per kg, which is also very delicious. We had a wonderful and unforgettable time here and hope to visit Malacca again if we have the chance.

Extremely satisfying! The check-in process was smooth and fast. The Front Office staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and tidy. The view from the room was truly beautiful, overlooking the sea and the city of Melaka, especially in the morning and at night. The swimming pool is also very attractive with an open view, and there's a special pool for children, perfect for a family vacation. The gymnasium is well-equipped with quality equipment and is in good condition. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will definitely come again in the future.

Melaka Apartment Hotel – A Relaxing Stay with a View Our stay at Melaka Apartment Hotel was truly enjoyable and exceeded our expectations in many ways. One of the first things we appreciated was the spacious and ample parking area—a big plus, especially when traveling with family by car. We never had to worry about finding a spot. The location is also a major highlight. It's close to the city center, popular attractions, and plenty of dining options, making it easy to explore Melaka without spending too much time on the road. Whether you're in the mood for sightseeing or just looking for local food, everything is just a short drive or walk away. The apartment came with a balcony facing the sea, and this was easily one of our favorite features. It was so relaxing to sit outside, feel the sea breeze, and watch the cruise ships from a distance—a simple but memorable experience that added a peaceful touch to our trip. The swimming pool was large and clean, perfect for both adults and kids. Our children especially had a great time splashing around and enjoying themselves, which made the stay even more worthwhile for us as parents. Overall, Melaka Apartment Hotel offers comfort, convenience, and scenic charm—ideal for families looking for a short getaway with everything within easy reach. We would definitely return!

The spacious family room offered stunning ocean views, and the hotel facilities, including a large pool, sea view and bath tub . beyond expectation ! but Long waiting for lift to checkout due to The time between a hotel's standard checkout . I understand when housekeeping has the fewest hours to turn over the rooms, so any late checkouts are particularly disruptive.

Overall, it's okay, but a bit old. The dining chairs, tables, furniture, and beds are all quite dated. The location is convenient; there are many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel facilities include a children's playground, a swimming pool, and a gym.
