Lisbon Hotels with Balcony

I had a fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. The room was not only clean, tidy, and cozy but also a perfect retreat after a day of exploring Lisbon. I especially appreciated the hotel’s thoughtful initiative of offering a coupon for choosing not to have the room cleaned daily, a small but significant gesture towards environmental conservation. My time here was truly enjoyable, and I sincerely hope to find this hotel chain in other countries, to experience their exceptional hospitality again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lisbon!

The hotel staff are friendly and enthusiastic; the breakfast is very good👍🏻 Although it is a bit far from the city, Lisbon Bolt and Uber are very close, so I don’t worry too much about the location, plus it is close to Belem Tower and the Presidential Palace; the room has a great view It’s so beautiful. I’ll definitely pick this one up next time I go to Lisbon.

Rating 0/5 - Exceptions to this RATING - Are the polite & extremely helpful Jessica @ the front desk & Andre the Rooms Manager who went out of their respective ways to meet any requirements needed. Firstly, my reservation was booked 2 months prior yet NO NOTIFICATION that the Hotel name & brand had changed a couple weeks prior. With a few street signs & the massive New Name signage on the hotel marquis , I was not notified of the NH Re- Branding. I was told that ALL guests were notified of this Change of Corporate Re- Branding . When I explain this to the Day front Desk Manager his reply was nothing they can do as it all comes from Head Office (poor apology ). I checked all previous correspondence & no such emails were received by me despite being assured that notifications were sent to all arriving guests! After an 8 hour flight from Toronto Canada & driving past the hotel 3 times up & down one way streets, finally parked & asked where is the Tivoli Sintra Hotel? I was directed in its direction. Jessica @ the front desk walked back with me to my car ( got in with my wife & I ) & guided us through the streets to the hotel. Wonderful ! Andre was most attentive & any request was followed through with the expertise & care of a 5 star manager (a hand written note expressing his desire to be of service should we require anything) was in our room . COMMENDABLE! Now my rating is based not on these two wonderful caring staff But the other staff & room encounters. The shower head kept falling down on the bar so could only be used by hand . The evening front desk manager came to the room & apologizing said it would be repaired in the morning, still not corrected by next day. I asked for 4 towels as the shower floor was soaking wet ( said could give us ONLY 2 ) from the ill functioning shower-head, also the sink faucet spout that spewed water over the entire area (poor design) choice. The house maid came & cleaned entire bathroom that evening so we could still use it the next day - lovely lady despite no English we gestured what was required and she met our expectations. The following day we went @9:30 pm for a late light dinner. After being seated by a bus boy who did not provide us with table settings, we waited 10 minutes as the Waiter walked by us twice with no acknowledgment as to our presence (saying he would be with us momentarily would have been considerate). He proceeded to serve another table 3 feet from us, who were asking for additional drinks as they were obviously there for some time dining. We finally got up from the table & in dismay the waiter looked at us. We stated that being ignored & as guests of the hotel were upset with this level of disrespect & lack of hospitality professionalism. Lastly, I had sent an email at the time of booking advising of this being a special 70 th Birthday trip for my wife, to the hotel Manager that any niceties that could be offered would be appreciated. I stayed at Locke in Edinburgh before, and I stayed there again when I saw a new one opened in Lisbon. This one is very big and just opened not long ago. The advantage is that it is really new, but the disadvantage is that the decoration smell is a bit obvious. The room is OK, apartment design, with kitchen, refrigerator, sofa and TV. It is generally quite convenient for three days. It is also easy to get a taxi, and it is not far to Liberty Avenue. There are restaurants and cafes downstairs, the products are OK, and the prices are medium. We did not order hotel breakfast. For breakfast, we went directly to the cafe in the lobby to buy a cup of coffee, a Portuguese tart and bread for breakfast for about 10 euros. We also patronized the restaurant downstairs in the evening. The products were OK, and the average cost per person was about 32 euros.

The Villa Baixa in Lisbon is a fantastic hotel with a prime location that makes it easy to explore the city's main attractions and access the train station. The one-bedroom apartment we stayed in featured a cozy balcony with a view of the pretty street below. The living area was well-furnished with a comfortable couch, coffee table, TV, and dining setup, making it feel like a home away from home. The kitchenette in our apartment was impressively equipped, including a small stove, refrigerator, and ample storage for food. This would have made it convenient to prepare meals during our stay, complemented by an array of kitchen utensils, cups, and plates. Additionally, the presence of a kettle and coffee maker with a limited supply of coffee pods was a thoughtful touch. The bathroom was spacious, with a large sink and a shower that offered excellent water pressure. The bedroom had a dark and quiet environment that ensured restful sleep, despite the bustling neighborhood outside. While the Villa Baixa does not offer on-site amenities and has limited front desk hours, the staff's friendliness and helpfulness made up for it. They were delightful and kind, contributing positively to our overall experience. However, it's worth noting that early arrivals may face challenges, as we did, when our red-eye flight left us waiting until 9 AM to check in. Despite these minor inconveniences, our stay was wonderful, and we would gladly return, especially with our seven-year-old daughter. Villa Baixa is a highly recommended choice for anyone visiting Lisbon!

It was my first time to visit Lisbon and I really like the atmosphere at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very delicious and tasty. The hotel location is around 5min by car to the beach.

I found this place while looking for a place to stay. First of all, I liked the location because it was in the middle of wherever I was going, and it was close to the tram to Belem district and tram number 28. Also the staff is very friendly!!! I hope everyone goes here because of this part. The room was clean, of course, and although it was a bit small, it covered everything else. The breakfast is also delicious, so I recommend trying it.

We stayed one night at Doubletree -Lisbon- our final night in Portugal. Warm welcome by staff with a warm cookie :). Our room was upgraded due to overbooking standard twin room. Beds are cosy. Clean room. Breakfast is ok. Recommend it

I stay here every time I come to Lisbon. First of all, the location is very good. It's at the top of Lisbon Avenue. The basket line and yellow line of the subway station are just a few steps away. The roundabout is also a distribution center for tourists and buses. It's only a short walk to the Old Town Pedestrian Street. 20 minutes; secondly, the breakfast was great. Although the hotel was full during the National Day, the breakfast room was still in order. One of the male waiters’ enthusiastic work spirit for so many years is worth learning; the lobby and rooms It has obviously been renovated and is much cleaner and more modern. However, check-in at three o'clock is three o'clock, so you have to wait even if you are early.

I went for a 2-week trip to Spain and Portugal with 2 friends, and this is the one with the best service. Immediate response to our request, e.g. making up the sofa bed (2 helpers immediately delivered an extra bed with blankets/ pillows and everything) And quite a lot of free refreshment in the room, e.g. pastels, a large bottle of free water, a small bottle of Port wine, coffee, etc...) And there is a kettle in the room (turned out what seems to be essential in most East-Asians hotels are not commonly provided in most hotels in Spain and Portugal, but this one got it!!) Would recommend it!
