"Our Valentine's stay at the hotel was pleasant. The service was top-notch, although the rooms themselves are in need of renovation. With metro to the door, the hotel is only 4 minutes walk from the most emblematic avenue of the Portuguese capital, Av. da Liberdade and Marquês de Pombal Square, with excellent access to the main sights of the city.
"Even though the hotel has been repainted, it's still on the older side. The bathroom door is wooden and broken, so it doesn't close properly. The bathroom itself is quite small, and one of the toilet flushes is broken.
Bringing luggage in is inconvenient as the main entrance elevator is out of order. You have to carry bags up a few steps to get in. You also need to switch elevators twice to reach your room. The elevators are only suitable for two adults and one child, but the triple room is large, with plenty of windows and natural light."

"Beautiful hotel with good size room for Europe. A bit far from the middle of everything (Avenida Liberdade and downtown area) but only a 7€ uber ride.
Hotel itself is nice but the hallways are so dark-for the ambiance I guess. Breakfast buffet features Portuguese selection and has quite a bit of choices. Staff was super helpful and friendly."

"We weren’t there long, so it’s hard to make a judgment. Staff were nice enough. No issues, no complaints. The hotel, however is like a museum of the 1980s. First generation flat screen TV and old clunky phone by the bed and a glass sink surround. It needs a 2025 upgrade. "

"The staff is very nice. I told her my room is facing to the train station which makes me hard to fall asleep. The staff was nice enough to change to another room.

"Good hotel with a very convenient location, basically next to the main train station. All the shampoo, body wash and lotions are from Rituals, which is good quality and definitely a plus.
Breakfast was decent but nothing outstanding and pretty ordinary, though we later understood its quite common with other hotels in Portugal.
Staff was friendly and welcoming."

"The location of the hotel is quite good, not too far on foot from the subway (~5 min.), there are convenient service shops around: laundromat, small supermarket, a few restaurants (BRUTI is absolutely the one to recommend, the food is really good, the prices are ok - not cheap but not overpriced compared to the quality you get).
The service given by the people working at this IBIS was fantastic! Huge praise to Davi, Isa and Fernando! (If you have the chance to meet them, say hello to them for us ;)
About the room, it was a bit of a let-down: quite small, cheap furniture which felt old, no small fridge (although there is room for it, and with the supermarket nearby, it would have been nice to put some of our own purchases in a fridge), ... it could be improved.
All in all though, a good stay, but mainly thanks to its personnel."

The hotel is relatively new, located north of Avenida da Liberdade. There's a metro station right outside, and if you walk down the avenue, you'll reach the old town – easily walkable if you're up for it.
The room was huge, and the 2.2-meter bed was incredibly spacious, which is a rare find in Europe! The staff were super friendly and helpful; whenever I called for water or extra blankets, they were very prompt. One day, we weren't feeling well outside the hotel, and a staff member quickly brought us tissues.
There's also a cool light show at 10 PM.

GGuest UserI spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts:
PROS:
- Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport.
- Nice decors and overall pretty clean.
CONS:
- The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room.
- Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is not located in the city, but there is a subway station that takes ten minutes' walk to the old city. It is also very convenient because there is no taxi in the city to go to the airport. The breakfast in the hotel is very good, the variety is rich and the quality is good, and the service is particularly good. SANA is a local hotel chain in Portugal, and its quality and service are quite guaranteed. The hotel is located on the flight network where planes land and take off, but the soundproofing in the room is good, which is perfect if you want to watch and take pictures of planes.

NNuannuanIt's been a while, but the memory is still vivid. The room was spacious, and breakfast was excellent – unlimited egg tarts! The capsule coffee was surprisingly good, comparable to freshly ground. Maybe I was just exhausted, but this last stop was pretty good. It started raining heavily as we left, marking the beginning of the rainy season, yet the taxi drivers didn't overcharge, which felt like a perfect ending!
I must have a soft spot for Portugal; even after 10 days, I still wanted more. So, I'm happy to express my gratitude to the places I stayed and the people who helped and served me! Wishing you all the best!

I was a little apprehensive because I saw a lot of comments about the area where the apartments are located and I didn't see anything wrong with the ”men on the stairs”. They were just drinking and having fun. They didn't even look at us or intimidate us. And we arrived very late because we went out to enjoy ourselves a bit.
The apartment is excellent, super clean, smells impeccable.

SSefy LevyThis hostel is located about 3km walk from the center city, but does have some close by attractions (such as the Jeronimo's Monetary)
The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall.
We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos)
We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond.
Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.
