GGuest UserAfter scouring Trip.com, I found this hotel with incredible value for money! I stayed here for all five nights in Qufu, and it was so comfortable I didn't want to leave.
I had checked out a few other places before deciding on this one.
The accommodations are fantastic. There's a beautiful, well-lit courtyard in the center, and sunlight streams into the bedroom as soon as you open the door.
The bedding was very clean, and I especially appreciated the excellent drinking water setup. The room has a direct-drinking dispenser that provides boiling water in three seconds, so no worries about kettle hygiene. The soundproofing in the bedroom is great, and even the curtains are double-layered, which is super friendly for those sensitive to light.
I also highly recommend booking a room with a small balcony! It doesn't cost much more, and the room is huge, the bed is super big, and it even has a projector! For the same price, staying here is simply amazing!
When you don't feel like going out, you can head to the bar and lounge area downstairs. They have billiards, karaoke, board games, and you can grab a drink – they have it all. According to the owner, the hostel has been operating for many years, and he even showed me a thick guestbook. If you're interested, you can flip through it and leave your own message.
On the first day of my check-in, a kind front desk lady assisted me, and the owner helped me with my luggage. The overall stay was superb, and the hotel staff are very friendly. You can tell the owner if you need anything. If I get a chance to visit Qufu again, I'll definitely stay here!
Regarding the location: Yan Temple is right across the street, making it one of the three closest hotels. To get to the snack street or Confucius Temple, you just need to scan a shared bike at the entrance, and you're there!

Embarked on a ceremonial family trip with my parents and child, and the experience was a perfect 100%!
The hotel's architecture, gardens, and layout are full of thoughtful details, with every step revealing an elegant oriental charm. What surprised us most were the parent-child activities – inspired by Confucius's Six Arts, we made tofu, used an abacus, learned tea art, played 'Touhu' (pitch-pot) and archery, along with a solemn 'Kaibali' (commencement ceremony) and fun plant exploration. Since there were fewer people during the week, we had an exclusive experience just for our group. The teachers were professional and patient, meticulously preparing everything from costumes and background music to teaching aids, allowing the children to understand traditional culture through play. It's especially suitable for preschoolers to have an immersive experience.
The dining was also exceptionally thoughtful: after breakfast, they would proactively pack sugar-free bread and children's snacks. Each dish in the Chinese restaurant came with a little story, turning dining into an interesting science popularization. The connecting room design truly understands family travel, providing both independent space for elders and children while allowing easy oversight at any time, making us feel completely secure.
This slow-paced cultural journey allowed adults to relax and children to grow. It's a treasure destination worth revisiting again and again ✨

They proactively asked about the mattress preference so that the mattress can be adjusted. Suggestions: The tap water in Jinxiang is salty, and people from outside may not be able to use the tap water here to make tea. It is best to provide large bottles of bottled water (such as 1.25 liters). Also, most of the breakfast dishes have chili peppers, so it is recommended to increase the dishes without chili peppers.

The front desk brother is very warm and the service is sincere. When I first checked in, I introduced us to the surrounding environment. The proprietress is very nice and kind. The next morning, my son and I got up late and had breakfast time. I didn't expect the proprietress to leave us meals specially, eat in the stomach, warm in the heart, like 👍👍! On the first floor, you can relax and entertain, play billiards, chess, drink, chat, feel very comfortable, the stay experience is good, there is a taste of home, you can recommend it to friends 😇✌️
