Kunming Hotels with Bars

This is a really great hotel. Both the room facilities and the hotel amenities are excellent, and the breakfast is good too. The pool is very clean and beautiful. I participated in both the yoga and meditation classes, and I highly recommend them. It was a perfect start to my trip. Yuyuan Garden is right across the street. I suggest going for a walk there in the morning before the tourists arrive; it's very peaceful. Given all the services the hotel offers, the price offers incredibly good value for money. The only thing that needs improvement is the complimentary afternoon tea; it didn't come with any tea or coffee, just a plate of fruits and pastries that seemed like they belonged to breakfast. That was a bit disappointing.

The environment is beautiful, and the hotel has a very stylish design with a private garden feel. The service was attentive and meticulous, and the breakfast was rich and delicious. It felt as warm as spring. Kunming is also known as the Spring City, and this trip was wonderfully warm, truly a home away from home.

This room was an incredible steal for the price! I sent pictures to my friends, and they all thought it looked like it cost over 1000, but the price I paid was an amazing deal. The mattress alone, worth over 40,000, was so firm and comfortable to sleep on. Downstairs, Sunac Cultural Tourism City has tons of options for restaurants, tea houses, and cafes. Dianchi Houhai is right next door, making it super convenient for strolling around and getting places. I've already shared this gem with my friends who are coming to Kunming!

The overall interior design of the hotel is fantastic. Situated right in the heart of Kunming, it's very convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment around the area. The hotel is ideal for those who love taking photos—it's super photogenic, and they even offer a complimentary photo session. The breakfast is rich and varied, and the receptionist ladies were warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!

The hotel is conveniently located near Kunming Railway Station and has its own dedicated parking lot, which is quite rare in such a bustling area. We arrived quite late, and the hotel kindly upgraded our family to a better room. They also thoughtfully informed us about their supper service, which was a true lifesaver after a long day of travel. Kunming's weather is quite dry, and the hotel has thoughtfully placed water bottles at every elevator entrance, along with many small, thoughtful amenities for guests to take. At the entrance to the breakfast area, there are also self-service travel guides, which is a lovely touch!

Furthermore, when we requested a late check-out, the staff graciously facilitated our request without any hesitation, which made our departure delightfully stress-free. Room & Amenities The room was impressively spacious, impeccably clean, and maintained to a very neat standard. The amenities provided met all our practical needs for a comfortable stay. While the room leaned towards a somewhat dim atmosphere—partly because the windows were either tinted or positioned facing an adjacent wall—the overall cleanliness and generous layout made for a restful retreat. Location & Accessibility The property truly shines in its location. It fully delivers on its promise of proximity to major local attractions and is just a short stroll away from the Nanping Pedestrian Street, making daily sight-seeing and dining remarkably effortless

Exiting the hotel and turning left, walking down the slope past a traffic light, it's less than a five-minute walk to the east gate of Cuihu Lake – super convenient! The front desk staff were very welcoming, offering freshly made flower cakes upon check-in, and there were welcome fruits in the room. The twin room was clean and spacious, with a separate wet and dry area, and a powerful shower. The room curtains were quite thick, which is great for light sleepers. From the window, you could even catch a glimpse of Cuihu Lake, which was a pleasant surprise. Many of Kunming's important attractions are located around Cuihu Lake, making it very easy to explore. There are also plenty of dining options nearby – I loved it! I stayed for three days, went for a five-kilometer run around Cuihu Lake, and visited the Zhuanxin Farmers' Market, Yunnan University, Southwest Associated University, and the old streets. Unfortunately, I went on a Monday, so several memorial halls were closed, which was a shame. Overall, apart from the hotel breakfast needing some improvement in food quality, the other services and room size were excellent. In particular, the hotel offers great value for money and is definitely worth revisiting!

Overall, the hotel was great – a true all-in-one spot for dining, entertainment, and relaxation. It’s perfect for spending a few days unwinding. The facilities like the pool and gym were excellent. Everything you need is right here! Plus, the three meals a day offered by the hotel were quite tasty. On a different note, I needed to arrange dinner for my family and called twice in advance to book a restaurant. The front desk said the F&B department would contact me, but they never did, even after I checked out… a bit frustrating. When I checked in, the front desk told me our standard room was on the first floor. I acknowledged it, and then they repeated it, “first floor, okay?” I didn't quite understand why they emphasized it twice. It wasn’t until I got to the room that I realized the cafe’s outdoor terrace offers a direct view into the room. (The front desk could have just said that directly instead of being so vague; how would I know, being a first-time guest?) Three areas for improvement: 1. The non-slip mat in the shower was very dirty. 2. The coordination among the F&B staff needs to be better. 3. The front desk should be more direct. Repeating that the standard room was on the first floor in such a roundabout way completely confused me as a first-time visitor about what they were trying to convey!

I had a very satisfying stay, and everything went smoothly from booking to check-out. The location was easy to find, transportation was convenient, and the surrounding amenities were excellent, making dining and shopping easy. The room was tidy and odor-free, the bedding was soft, and both the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. The washroom area was clean and hygienic. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, efficient in their work, and made me feel very welcome. The price was affordable, and the value for money is definitely among the best in its category. It's suitable for both short-term travel and long-term stays. The experience was great, and I highly recommend it!
