YYinyuezouqiI had a thoroughly satisfying 3-day, 2-night New Year's Eve stay. I also got to experience the lively atmosphere at Dianchi Town (Outlet). The hotel's location is excellent, right in the Wangfujing Outlet at the Convention and Exhibition Center, making dining and shopping very convenient. As for the hotel itself, the overall service was exceptional; the staff were friendly, attentive, and responsible. The rooms were spacious with unique layouts, and while the breakfast selection wasn't huge, every item was high quality. Lunch was a fixed set menu, one portion per person, and it was quite tasty.
I do have one suggestion: since the hotel is on the third floor of a shopping center, it's genuinely hard to find for first-time visitors. Although the hotel has put up a sign near a certain underground parking entrance in the plaza (as pictured), taxis and ride-sharing apps can't pinpoint the exact location. Could there be a larger, more prominent sign? The first time, because I was dropped off about 20 meters away, I spent over 10 minutes searching up and down and all around for the elevator entrance (because navigation can't differentiate between floors). On subsequent trips back, not a single driver managed to pull up to the correct spot.

XXiaobudianerererererThe environment is beautiful, and the decor is very upscale and tasteful. The room is large and clean, and the amenities are well-developed. There's a parking lot and four restaurants. We ate at the hotel twice, and the food was also good. The service was excellent and professional. It's connected to Spring City 66 (Hang Lung Plaza), so it's very convenient for shopping and dining. If I have the chance to come to Kunming again, I'll definitely stay here.

XXinghebuerThis hotel by Dianchi Lake is pretty good all-around. The environment, of course, is fantastic. The open-plan lobby is very grand, and the jewelry sold in the shops reflects its upscale positioning. I even tried some Pu'er tea at the tea shop, and it was rich and fragrant.
The public areas are huge. I heard there are peacocks somewhere, but I asked several staff members, and they all said they didn't know where they were, which was a bit funny. Even though I stayed for three nights, I still didn't get a chance to use the hot springs.
Breakfast was quite varied, but I actually started feeling a bit of altitude sickness and couldn't eat much. The restaurant itself was a bit hard to find; I walked around for a long time on the first day trying to locate it. It would be great if the signs along the way were more detailed.
It's about a 20-minute walk to Haigeng Dam by Dianchi Lake, or even 10-15 minutes if you walk quickly. The scenery along the way is beautiful, perfect for a stroll and to aid digestion.

GGuest UserHello everyone. We stayed at this hotel at the end of November 2024. Initially, we booked the hotel for 5 days, then we extended, extended and in the end, we stayed there for 11 nights. The hotel is new, clean. The rooms have good quality robes, toiletries. We were quite satisfied with the breakfasts. We were pleased with the availability of freshly squeezed juices. The main staff does not speak English, but this is not a problem, since the on-line translator saves us, and the staff tries very hard to understand what you want from them. The only person who speaks excellent English was the manager Sam. A man passionate about his work. He told us a lot about the hotel and what is nearby. And there is a lot there: a park with playgrounds, a bungee jump, and a birdhouse with parrots. Sam showed us a place next to the hotel, which is a set for films. Boat station, where you can take a boat and take a walk on the lake and go straight to the hotel grounds. The hotel itself is in a great location, in a lowland, on the shore of the lake. If you plan a trip to Kunming, then it is far from the city. But we needed a quiet and beautiful place. And we got it. With the window open in the evenings and mornings you can hear the fish splashing in the lake and the ducks quacking. It was great to sleep, as the mattress and pillows are of excellent quality. We will definitely come back here and will recommend it to our friends.
P.S. Once again, we say a huge thank you to Sam, he not only told and showed us a lot about the hotel and the surrounding area, he also helped us solve some issues with our luggage at the airport. A wonderful, responsive person. The hotel management is very lucky to have such a person on their team.

GGuest UserThe front desk service was exceptional. Our room was spacious and bright. The front desk staff, especially the young lady, were incredibly friendly and thoughtful. They even gave us a complimentary room upgrade since we were traveling with a child. This will definitely be our top choice hotel for future trips to Kunming!

AAutumnLeafI stayed at Cachet Boutique Hotel Kunming on 25–26 October and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located a little away from the main pedestrian street, but the area around it has plenty of lively bars and cafés that attract a younger crowd — great if you enjoy a vibrant atmosphere.
The hotel itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed. I was really impressed by the stylish decor, quality amenities, and the spacious room layout. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Checking in/out was fast and hassle free.
As an additional benefit, the hotel is located 10 minutes from the train station.
Overall, it’s excellent value for money — I’d definitely recommend Cachet Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Kunming who’s looking for comfort, style, and a touch of local charm.

SsirlycBooked a room for 427 yuan a night, but overall, it wasn't great value for money. When I made the reservation, I specifically selected a quiet, non-smoking room, and I reiterated this at check-in. They assured me all rooms were non-smoking and very quiet. The result? I was on the tenth floor, facing a T-intersection, and I heard cars driving over manhole covers all night. I could also hear pedestrians on the street talking very clearly! I'm not sure if the comforter had been changed, but it definitely smelled of smoke! If it hadn't been so late and my child wasn't asleep, I would have asked to switch rooms. I just had to endure a disgusting night's sleep. The air conditioning couldn't cool the room, so it was stuffy and I had to open the window. The view from the room, as seen online, wasn't very good. There's no humidifier in the room, and Yunnan is very dry! The hotel lobby is also quite small. On the positive side, the service was good, and the breakfast and afternoon tea were plentiful. The rooftop pool offers a panoramic city view, but it's cold water, only suitable for taking photos.

The bunk beds are incredibly well-designed, each with its own charging port, reading light, and storage compartment, offering maximum privacy. The 24-hour front desk staff are warm and reliable, and you can even store your luggage for free. The common areas are spacious, and the terrace and billiards room are perfect for socializing. It's spotlessly clean and offers great value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming!

Perched on the 27th floor or higher, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking panoramic views of Dianchi Lake and the city skyline. Bathed in warm sunlight during the day and glittering with city lights at night, the visual impact is simply stunning. The plush bedding in the room was incredibly comfortable, and with the blackout curtains, I enjoyed an undisturbed night's sleep. Heidi's service was thoughtful and impeccable, providing meticulous attention from check-in to check-out. The French-inspired luxury design, subtly integrated with Yunnan aesthetics, showcases quality in every detail, making it a top choice for a trip to Kunming.
