WwggmffThe sea at Clear Water Bay has a calming power; the blue transitions from clear transparency nearby to a profound depth in the distance, and the beach sand is so white and fine, it feels soft underfoot. The hotel gardens are filled with tropical plants, and the faint scent of frangipani makes you unconsciously slow your pace while walking the paths. The Hainanese noodles and 'Qingbuliang' (a local dessert soup) for breakfast were very authentic and satisfying every day. Our butler Chloe provided attentive, professional, and gentle service, which made us feel very at ease. Everything about this stay was wonderful, and I'll definitely choose Raffles again when I come back to Hainan.

MmingI chose this hotel because of the wide array of beach and sea activities it offers. The room was incredibly spacious, and the butler service was exceptional. I have no idea how our butler, Linda, managed to be available 24/7; even when I requested a car to the beach early in the morning, someone was always there to respond. The hotel has a high occupancy rate, so I recommend avoiding peak hours for breakfast.
The Thai restaurant felt like neither the chef nor the staff had ever been to Thailand. It served a 'modified' version of Thai food that wasn't very authentic, with very mild spice flavors. However, the grilled fish and grilled chicken were excellent, and the coconut jelly dessert was delicious. The curry chicken and spicy stir-fried morning glory could use some improvement.
The Chinese restaurant, on the other hand, was very good, with tender and flavorful chicken and fish. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, with a 'beef noodle freedom' concept allowing you to add as much beef as you like, and the oatmeal was also great. The staff consistently refilled dishes, ensuring that nothing was empty regardless of how many people were dining. The hotel grounds are vast, with many activities on offer, so much so that I didn't even have time to try them all. It was a shame that we couldn't go sailing due to the strong winds and rough waves near the shore.
I feel that Park Hyatt might offer better beach management and privacy. Overall, the best aspects of the hotel experience were definitely the butler service and the abundant beach activities.

Although some facilities are a bit older, they are well-maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with cozy bedding. The hotel provides a variety of entertainment activities, especially for families, and offers tools for mudflat exploring, catering to diverse guest needs.
**Hygiene:** The hygiene conditions are good; both rooms and public areas are kept clean. Guests generally have positive feedback on the hotel's cleanliness, finding its hygiene standards high, with thorough room cleaning providing a comfortable living environment.
**Value for Money:** The hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices that match its facilities and services. Guests feel that the services and facilities provided are satisfactory for the price point, making it a worthwhile stay.
