Loved the service here and attention to detail. Staff were all so friendly and made us so welcome. Really outstanding!  From the time we stepped out the car, all the staff made us feel so welcome. The concierge even helped me to book a late night snack on ******* then paid for it on his app when mine wouldn’t work. Really superb service!

Location was great too. Short walk of maybe 8 minutes to the Dapuqiao (Line 9) station inside the Sun Moon shopping centre with lots of eateries. Very near to Tianzifang which is 15 minutes walk. Great specialty coffee cafe called Danro Coffee within 10 minutes walk. And within 5km to many major sights in Shanghai within the Huangpu area.

An Urban Luxury Journey Exceeding All Expectations

My recent stay at the Pullman Shanghai Jing An truly made me understand the full meaning of ”five-star service.” From the moment I stepped into the hotel, every detail exuded quality and attentiveness.

Unbeatable Location
The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Jing'an District, just a 5-minute walk from Shanghai Railway Station, with Metro Lines 1, 3, and 4 practically at its doorstep. This makes it incredibly convenient for reaching The Bund, the Jing'an Temple commercial area, or even the Hongqiao transportation hub. What's even more remarkable is that despite its central location, the guest rooms maintained a surprising tranquility, with double-glazed windows perfectly sealing off the city's hustle and bustle.

Thoughtful Room Experience
The Executive Deluxe Room I stayed in flawlessly blended modern design with practical comfort:
· Floor-to-ceiling windows offered views of bustling traffic by day and dazzling neon lights by night.
· The custom Sealy mattress paired with high-quality linens provided the best sleep I've had in years.
· The spacious and smart bathroom featured a powerful rainforest shower and botanical scents from premium Australian toiletries, which were incredibly relaxing.
· Thoughtful amenities like an air purifier and multi-functional charging ports catered to the true needs of modern travelers.

Delightful Dining Experience
Breakfast was unbelievably lavish: freshly made local noodles with various toppings, authentic French croissants, a fresh seafood station… The coffee quality was particularly commendable, easily on par with a professional café. The evening happy hour at the Executive Lounge not only offered a professional selection of beverages but also showcased impressive culinary skills with its exquisite snacks.

Heartwarming Service Details
The staff demonstrated a perfect balance of professionalism and warmth:
· The front desk quickly recognized my membership status, efficiently handled check-in, and thoroughly explained the hotel's facilities.
· Room service was incredibly prompt, and the turndown service not only tidied the room but also thoughtfully left a weather forecast card.
· The concierge provided precise and practical recommendations for local dining and transportation, even helping me secure a reservation at a popular local restaurant.

Comprehensive and Thoughtful Facilities
· The 24-hour fitness center was meticulously maintained.
· The constant-temperature swimming pool had crystal-clear water, and the experience was especially pleasant during less crowded times.
· The business center was well-equipped, and its quiet environment was perfect for urgent work.

What impressed me most was on the day of checkout. Due to a late flight, the hotel proactively extended my checkout time until the afternoon and offered luggage storage service. This kind of service mentality, where the guest's needs are genuinely prioritized, is truly rare among luxury hotels today.

The Pullman Shanghai Jing An is more than just a place to stay; it feels like ”another home” for me in Shanghai. It combines the standards and quality of an international brand with a deep understanding of local guest needs. For business travelers seeking efficiency or tourists hoping to deeply experience Shanghai, this is an impeccable choice. I am already planning my next stay and will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to all my friends visiting Shanghai.

Shanghai Hotel Stay Experience | Pullman Shanghai South

My child had a performance on the last day of the New Year in the ballroom at Pullman Shanghai South. Knowing traffic would be a nightmare that morning, we decided to check in a day early.

Upon arrival, the front desk already had our room ready. The service was excellent; they were incredibly accommodating, even providing earplugs when we asked. 

We stayed on the 16th floor. The room was spacious and had a business-oriented feel. The bed was wonderfully soft and comfortable. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and there was a bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak if you're not in a hurry.

Since we had a performance, we were granted a late check-out and free parking, which was a huge plus.

We had breakfast and lunch at the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was a buffet and quite good.

We had a pleasant stay at Pullman Shanghai Qingpu Excellence. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained (5/5), which made our stay very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful (4/5), always ready to assist when needed. The amenities (4/5) were good and suitable for families — especially the pool and breakfast options.

However, the location (3/5) felt a bit far from the main attractions and city center, so traveling to and from places took some extra time.

Overall, it’s a great choice for families looking for a clean, comfortable, and relaxing stay with good service.

The breakfast was varied and delicious, especially the omelet made by the gentleman, which was fantastic. The milk coffee inside was fragrant and melted in your mouth. The room was very clean and tidy, making for a pleasant experience. However, the hallway fragrance was a bit too strong; I'd suggest switching to a more subtle scent.

Great hotel for a business stay or staying central in Downtown - the view from Executive room is pretty good but not spectacular as Burj Khalifa is not so front and center.
Amenities are good, we especially enjoyed the squash court and gym with an actual Smith Machine - beats other hotels that usually stock up 10 dumbbells and 5 treadmills.
Had an issue with an iron, which they quickly addressed - but apparently there is just a single socket for that EU-style plug. Weird they do not stock irons with UK-style plugs which are used in UAE.
We also noticed some mould around bathtub which irked us a bit. Otherwise cleaning was good.
This was our honeymoon trip and they left a small cake and a lovely card on our arrival, along with some balloons - a sweet gesture which we appreciated. Balloons were not removed the next day however but that is fine, maybe some couples enjoy them (haha).

Our stay was excellent, the location is good, there’s metro station that’s near by walking. The breakfast & Executive Lounge were all excellent 💯

Отель неплохо расположен- рядом с аэропортом, выездом на две основные трассы вдоль города, рядом станция метро, выход из отеля прямо в торговый центр. Очень большой номер из двух комнат и кухни. Однако, есть и существенные минусы: 
- тонкие окна и очень шумно за окном даже ночью
- жесткий матрац
- в номере было душно, кондиционер не регулировался по температуре
- проход на зватрак через подземную парковку
- необхиодмо стоять в очереди ожидая столик на завтрак
- сам завтрак не впечателяет. Выбор блюд не большой со средним качеством и долгим ожиданием.

This so-called five-star hotel may enjoy a prime location next to the Eiffel Tower, but the reality is deeply disappointing for the price they charge. The central issue, and one that ruins the entire stay, is the ancient air-conditioning system. It can only produce either heating or cooling—not both—and the creaky controls offer no real control at all. We stayed in late September when the afternoons were still hot and sunny, and the room became unbearable. Opening the window wasn’t an option either, since it just brought in street noise and light, making rest impossible.  

When I complained, the staff first tried to mislead me by saying they would send a technician to “fix” it, as if this were a problem isolated to my room. Of course, they knew full well this is a general, long-standing issue built into the system. Instead of any actual solution, they then attempted to placate me with complimentary coffee and champagne—which I pointedly returned.  

Reading other reviews confirmed I was not alone. Many guests describe the exact same problem, and management appears content to ignore it. For a hotel that charges luxury rates and claims five-star status, the lack of a modern climate system is unacceptable and feels like outright negligence.  

My advice: avoid this hotel entirely in spring or autumn when temperatures fluctuate. If comfort matters at all to you, spend your money elsewhere—this place is only trading on its view of the Eiffel Tower, nothing more.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, spacious and tidy rooms with complete facilities, comfortable bedding, and good sound insulation. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and the breakfast offers a rich and varied selection. It provides great value for money, making it an excellent choice for both business trips and leisure travel. Definitely worth staying again.

The Pullman Bercy is ideal if you want a relaxed, modern hotel in an extremely safe and accessible neighbourhood. Great for those who value comfort and luxury.

+ Location: From the hotel it's a few mins walk to the M14 line, a new and safe metro line that is connected tobAirport Orly and Gare du Lyon train station (RER A/B trains to Disneyland Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport). M14 can also take you into central Paris to see the Louvre, Notre Dame and Palais Garnier within 30mins. 

+ Cleanliness: The room, including water and towels, was refreshed daily.

+ Air Conditioning: The a/c worked well and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. 

- The TV did not have chromecast or similar wifi-streaming features available.
