Hotel Exe Plaza is a decent choice for a Madrid stay, conveniently situated about 20–30 minutes from the city center and Atocha Station. The hotel’m is sitting literally on top of a subway station and bus terminal, with quick dining options like McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and Popeyes nearby. We were grateful they allowed us to check in early, and the breakfast offered a nice variety with hot dishes that rotated every few days. 

The only minor drawback is the lack of a standard supermarket nearby. While there is a Carrefour City in the bus terminal, it tends to be rather expensive. Overall, it is a well-connected and reliable base for exploring the city.

The hotel is overall is absolutely amazing. Staff 10/10, service 10/10. It's just I travelled alone, the room I had was single occupancy, bit overrated and the guest next door was loud. Means I can hear each and every noise from next door. Disturbed my sleep many times can even hear when someone is walking next door. Didn't get much peace in room. Just because the guest next door. Got up every morning with bit of headaches. Buy surroundings are amazing, nice restaurant and shops are really handy. Near the city centre and the easy access for the metro and the way to the airport. Loved everything about Exe Moncloa

The hotel was generally fine but had some issues. The parking lot behind the hotel is difficult to access; you park there, ring the bell, and enter, but you can't get out and have to walk all the way around. The shower gel ran out in our room (they should replenish it before each guest). I told the cleaning lady, and she said if we returned to the room, it would be empty. There were three of us in the room, and there was only a double pillow for two. The first day there was an ice pack for all three of us, but the second day they only replenished one for two. These are unacceptable shortcomings for a four-star hotel.

We spent several nights in this hotel. It was very enjoyed its location in the center at Gran Via and shops, cafes, sights in availability. The respiratory staff is excellent. The room is clean, the lingerie, the towels, the big bed and the room itself is spacious. Not very much liked a few moments: a very noisy heater that cracks the whole house when hot water is turned on. The plumbing is old, there is no place to hang a leak for a shower to wash comfortablely. There are no spoons, no rolls, no dishes, although there is a kitchen - a little strange. 
In the rest of the OK, just the cost of living seems to be overstated for such quite old and imperfect conditions.

The hotel is excellent, parking is convenient with charging stations in the courtyard, the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, including a minibar and safe. The surrounding environment is also very nice, and transportation is convenient, making it suitable for those driving.

We had trouble accessing the internet on arrival and it took quuite awhile for their tech support to correct.  We weren't alone but eventually we got access.
Coffee in the room is a challenge as only one day during our 5 night stay did we get regular coffee to brew in the room.  The other days it was Nescafe decaf instant.  The staff were very accommodating, the room was clean,  and the pool was a welcome oasis after walking around all day.

Excellent location! Walking distace to main avenues and transportation points.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull at all times.
the room was spacious, with individual  unit (heater/AC) 
Some rooms have jacuzzi, you need to request it at moment of reserving a room. 
 The hotel offers buffet breackfast(for extra charge)
All and all, good value gor money 
I will stay there again here when visiting CDMX again .

The hotel is in a very good location, and the Independence Column is just a few steps away. However, the hotel is very old, and the rooms are very old, almost like those in the 1990s. The breakfast is in cooperation with the restaurant downstairs, which is a very distinctive Mexican restaurant. However, there is a main road downstairs, and the noise is a bit loud. The air conditioning is centrally controlled and cannot be controlled in the room. However, the room is large, with a separate kitchen, microwave and refrigerator, but it cannot be turned on. The price-performance ratio is OK. It is not recommended for travel and vacation

The room is big and the inside is okay, but the bed sheets are a bit old, and the rest are gone. I didn't eat breakfast. I don't know what to do. I left in a hurry.

The hotel's policies need improvement, and they should provide services befitting a 4-star hotel. Initially, the reception staff were friendly, and the Spanish people were very kind, but the hotel's services need improvement. I called reception and asked why they hadn't provided water in my room, as is standard in 4-star hotels. They told me there was water in the refrigerator that I could drink. However, when it was time to check out, they told me I had to pay for the water. I pointed out that they were the ones who told me to drink it, and they replied, ”No, we told you there was water in the refrigerator!” Furthermore, slippers weren't provided in the room, and neither coffee nor tea was available. Honestly, the hotel's policies are very poor, and I don't plan on returning.

There were spider webs and a spider in the corner beside the desk, and even after I informed the front desk, no action was taken.
Apart from that, the overall stay was satisfactory the location is convenient, with both a bus stop and a metro station right downstairs.
The breakfast area is small but offers a good variety of options. Overall, it’s a great value for money.

The hotel is in the very center, there is a market nearby, a historical building, a walking street right there...
Everything is within walking distance.
Breakfasts are good, everything is delicious!
Room cleaning every day, clean!
Reception 24/7, which is good for late arrivals!
I recommend this wonderful hotel!
