Shenyang Hotels with Free Breakfast

I came to Shenyang with my elders and chose the Northeast Asia Hotel. The hotel hallways are smooth, making it easy to get in and out, and the room has good natural light. At night, the view outside the window was soft, and my elder stood by the window for a long time, admiring it. The room was very clean, with no dust. The front desk service was very patient and explained everything slowly whenever we had questions. The transportation nearby is convenient, making it easy to get around. The sound insulation in the room at night was good, so we weren't disturbed. Our family felt safe and comfortable staying here, and all the facilities worked well. It's very suitable for traveling with elderly people and is highly recommended.

The hotel rooms are spotless, and the hygiene inspection was incredibly thorough. The entertainment facilities, especially the swimming pool, are beautiful. The meals are delicious, and the staff are all very friendly. Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 11 AM, which is a really long and convenient window. The hotel's location is excellent for transportation, very close to the subway station – just a few minutes' walk. There are also several parking lots available at the hotel, which is a great plus. Highly recommended!

Excellent location, right downstairs is Toutiao Hutong Food Street. It's close to Metro Line 1, making it super convenient to get to the Forbidden City and Zhangshi Shuai Mansion. The 5th-floor terrace offers a distant view of the Forbidden City and overlooks Middle Street. If you're driving, contact the hotel in advance for free parking. The room is clean and tidy, with a smart toilet and a separate wet/dry bathroom. There's even a robot for delivery service. The front desk staff are warm and attentive. A must-choose for any traveler!

The hotel's location is super convenient; you can see it right from North Station and even access it directly via an underground passage. Subway Lines 2 and 4 are right downstairs, making transportation a breeze. Taxis can also drop you off directly at the hotel entrance. Breakfast is available, though the variety is pretty standard. They also offered a complimentary business lunch or dinner, which had limited options, but it was enough to fill you up. The room looked exactly like the pictures, but the cleanliness details weren't great and definitely need improvement.

After my flight landed, the hotel I originally booked was really subpar, so late at night, I urgently booked the Conrad, which was the most convenient to reach on foot, and it lived up to expectations. It was clean and hygienic, and the bedding was comfortable. Although it's on a high floor in a sealed environment, the air quality was still fresh. For breakfast, some of the service staff were perfunctory and impatient, which was a big drawback! Also, having to switch elevators multiple times is not friendly for older people. Overall, it's still very good and worth recommending.

The most memorable part of our stay at Swissôtel Shenyang was Eric, our Les Clefs d'Or Concierge Manager. He reached out before arrival to understand our needs and always stayed one step ahead, handling our questions and last-minute requests with calm professionalism and genuine care. If service is an art, Eric is a true artist — he writes the most touching verses during a guest's stay, and as an architect of beautiful memories, he turns ordinary service into an art form, making every encounter unforgettable. The central location, high-floor lake view, and quiet comfortable rooms were all wonderful, but it was this feeling of being truly cared for that made the trip special. We will definitely return and ask for Eric again. Highly recommended.

The breakfast selection was plentiful, offering both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was quite good. It would be even better if there were some local specialty snacks available, allowing us to enjoy authentic flavors right at the hotel, which would help us retain guests.

I went there expecting a top-notch bathing experience, but I was sorely disappointed. First, let's talk about the room. I booked the last available tatami room. It was spacious enough, with an indoor hot tub, but no window. The ventilation system made a lot of noise when turned on, and even with the air conditioning set to the lowest, it still felt stuffy. The room included two hot spring tickets, valid until 6 PM the next day if you checked out before 10 AM. Breakfast was at the Breeze Restaurant in the villa area, priced at 119 yuan per person, and the quality was very poor. It opened at 7 AM, and when I arrived shortly after, they were still slowly putting out food. There weren't many options, but the most memorable was the bacon – just a few burnt-looking pieces on the plate, I couldn't tell if they were leftovers or just overcooked. If breakfast is included in the room rate, you might as well grab a quick bite, but otherwise, it's definitely not worth the price. The hot springs were very basic – no food, no drinks, and no fruit (I'd seen reviews mentioning occasional fruit, but I didn't see any). A bottle of plain water cost 8 yuan. I went on the afternoon of check-in, around 5 PM, and it was quite crowded. The next morning, it was even more so. In short, I won't be going back.

On a cold freezing night when my previous apartment cancelled abruptly for some weird reason, I got into this hotel at a last minute decision. The owner herself greeted me. Her English name is Nancy and she's quite friendly and welcoming. On the first impression, the room is basically an apartment and not a typical hotel. For all foreigners, to put it simply, it's like an Airbnb concept. It wasn't clean initially but being the first night, I let it go. The wifi isn't good and the shower was inconsistently changing from hot to Cold by itself. However, next day, thanks to trip.com and the owner, we solved most of the problems. Once again, for foreigners, be prepared to have a bad day with the internet. Use your mobile data instead. The shower was great when fixed. The hotel cleaned up the room. Overall, if it's for a day or two, I recommend this place be it solo or with your partner/travel mate. The location is also convenient and close to Shenyang north station. 😁 I do hope to make a reservation again. The Imperial Palace and Marshal Zhang's Mansion are within walking distance, and it's situated right on Middle Street Pedestrian Street. Transportation is convenient. Downstairs, Wang Houyuan Dumplings are delicious, and the Qianlima BBQ across the street is also highly recommended; you should try their chicken racks too. It's incredibly convenient for getting around and dining. However, I wouldn't recommend the Xiaohuyan Morning Market or the Caitadian Night Market nearby; they're overpriced, the food is mediocre, very commercialized, and rarely frequented by locals. **Good Sleep Experience:** The soundproofing in the rooms is quite good, and the bedding is clean and comfortable, ensuring a high-quality rest. **Prompt Service Response:** When issues like a clogged floor drain arose, the hotel manager was patient and resolved them promptly. On the morning of the 24th, while dining at the buffet restaurant, I noticed obvious stains on the edge of a plate (as shown in the picture). A male waiter saw it and reacted quickly, immediately taking the plate away. His actions were timely and appropriate, which is commendable. He immediately informed a female waitress on site about the issue. However, it was disappointing that the female waitress responded, 'So many people eat at the buffet every day; it's impossible to check every plate.' Now for the negatives: **Severely Outdated Hardware:** The room furnishings are old-fashioned and stained, the clothes hanger was broken, and the room door sagged, making it difficult to open and close. The carpet had large areas of old stains, which looked quite bad. After I reported this to Ctrip, the platform was very helpful in coordinating a solution. The hotel manager was patient and proactively offered a room upgrade. Ultimately, we declined the upgrade and opted for free breakfast instead, but the hotel's attitude towards resolving the issue is commendable. (Although, when communicating with the manager, I overheard a female waitress next to her quietly questioning if I was 'looking for trouble,' which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I was simply providing honest feedback.) **Poor Attention to Hygiene Details:** The floor drain in the shower was clogged, leading to standing water. Also, as mentioned, there were obvious stains on a plate during breakfast on the 24th. **Management Awareness Needs Improvement:** Regarding the cutlery hygiene issue, the on-site female waitress explained it away by saying 'there are too many people to check individually.' This reveals a lack of standardized procedures and treats an objective difficulty as an excuse for a management oversight. Finally, I'd like to say that while this stay wasn't perfect, Ramada, as an established four-star hotel, generally has good service and staff quality. However, it definitely needs some reforms. The hotel occupies an excellent location, but the current hardware completely fails to live up to its 'four-star' rating and 'prime location' value. I recommend considering phased renovations (for example, renovating one floor at a time and then progressing through the others). Although this would result in a short-term loss of revenue, in the long run, improving the hardware to recover ratings and reputation would yield a far greater return than simply 'resting on its laurels' as it is now.
