QQxingfuxiaomaoQExcellent location, right downstairs is Toutiao Hutong Food Street. It's close to Metro Line 1, making it super convenient to get to the Forbidden City and Zhangshi Shuai Mansion. The 5th-floor terrace offers a distant view of the Forbidden City and overlooks Middle Street. If you're driving, contact the hotel in advance for free parking. The room is clean and tidy, with a smart toilet and a separate wet/dry bathroom. There's even a robot for delivery service. The front desk staff are warm and attentive. A must-choose for any traveler!

AAnonymous UserThe courtyard and common areas are meticulously maintained, creating a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. Walking through them is incredibly calming and refreshing. Inside the room, everything is thoroughly cleaned, and the bedding is meticulously changed and sanitized. The amenities are of good quality and complete. The staff is always responsive and on-call. The room is far from any noise sources, ensuring excellent sleep quality. Plus, finding food nearby is very convenient. Even after multiple stays, I'm still extremely satisfied.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient; you can see it right from North Station and even access it directly via an underground passage. Subway Lines 2 and 4 are right downstairs, making transportation a breeze. Taxis can also drop you off directly at the hotel entrance. Breakfast is available, though the variety is pretty standard. They also offered a complimentary business lunch or dinner, which had limited options, but it was enough to fill you up. The room looked exactly like the pictures, but the cleanliness details weren't great and definitely need improvement.

SSunnyAmyEvery year when I come back to Shenyang, I always book this hotel without a doubt. Each time, I choose a three-bedroom apartment, which is convenient for my husband and me, and our son and daughter to have their own space. Most of the time, I book through the official website and with Ms. Liu from sales, though occasionally I've booked on Ctrip. Regardless of the platform, I always receive excellent service. This time, I arrived at the hotel close to 11 PM. It was comforting to see the familiar smiling face of the front desk staff. After recognizing my member status, she even upgraded my room to an executive suite. There have been several times I considered booking hotels on Youth Street, but while they may seem luxurious, they're not as practical for a family like ours staying for a few days, especially with all the laundry. At Ascott Shenyang, I can wash and dry clothes every day, and the kitchen is very convenient with a refrigerator to store groceries. When I've stayed for longer periods, I've even ordered delivery from Sam's Club and cooked my own meals. I've even spent Chinese New Year here and cooked our reunion dinner myself. If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say some of the facilities could use an upgrade. For example, the speakers next to the TV are still from the DVD era; they could easily be replaced with modern, affordable, and functional Bluetooth speakers. The hotel kitchen is fully equipped with tableware and cookware, and there's a Xin Tiandi supermarket nearby to buy seasonings, plus a convenient Lawson downstairs. The only sad thing is the decline of Taiyuan Street; it was so bustling when I first came to Shenyang over 20 years ago, but now many shops have closed. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's sufficient, offering both Chinese and Western options. The staff in the breakfast area are all very warm and polite. Parking downstairs costs 40 yuan per day. What's more convenient now is that after registering your license plate when checking in, you don't need parking vouchers every time you leave. You just settle the total parking fee when you check out. I'm always grateful for an incident during Christmas two years ago. I fell ill when I was alone in the room, and struggled to order medicine for delivery. It was the gentleman downstairs who brought it up to me, and I started to feel better after taking it. By the time my husband and child returned, I was already much improved. I've seen him still working near the front desk during my current stay. I'll be back this summer for another long stay. See you again, Ascott, in the summer!

XXiarenjunThis was my first time in Shenyang, and for an important anniversary, I chose the Conrad as our base for a three-day, two-night stay. Here’s an objective review based on my actual experience: **Location:** The hotel is very close to both Beizhan (North Station) and Shenyang Station, about a ten-minute taxi ride. If you take the subway, it’s just one transfer, and you can reach Exit A of Renmin Square Station on Line 2 (which is the entrance to MixC Hang Lung Plaza) in about 30 minutes. From the first floor of Hang Lung Plaza, there's a glass automatic door that connects directly to the hotel's first floor. Regarding Hang Lung Plaza, I won't comment on the shopping as I didn't explore it much. However, it’s very convenient to take the escalator down to the basement for a meal, grab some snacks at the supermarket/convenience store, play Taiko or Maimai at the arcade on the basement level, or sing karaoke at Mei KTV on the third floor accessible by a scenic elevator. This definitely adds to the convenience of staying at the Conrad. **Service:** * **Pre-Stay Service:** I didn't receive any pre-arrival calls or contact, which is usually standard for five-star hotels. It made me think, 'Hmm?' a little, but it wasn't a major issue. During check-in, the front desk informed me that our room was still being prepared but offered a complimentary upgrade to a smoking room so we wouldn't have to wait. I accepted the kind offer and was relieved that the smoke smell in the room wasn't very noticeable. * **During-Stay Service:** On the first night, I wanted to take a bath, but the bathtub took nearly two hours to fill, only reaching the depth shown in the photo. After half an hour, I thought it was just because the tub was large and filling slowly, but when it was still the same after more than an hour, I suspected the drain wasn't sealing properly. However, it was quite late, and I didn't want to bother the hotel staff with repairs at that hour, especially since we’d already received an upgrade. It felt like that 'don't ask for a bicycle when you've been given a watch' kind of awkwardness. So, the next morning, I called housekeeping to ask if someone could check it while we were out in the afternoon. When we returned the next evening, the first thing I did was fill the tub, and seeing the water successfully rise made me so happy! I could finally take a bath! I'm grateful to the staff for solving the problem on time. Later that night, we went to the executive lounge on the 83rd floor for the evening light meal. The food was excellent, and they were proactive in asking about our needs. Special thanks to Cloris, Luna, and Rachel for their warm service. **Facilities:** As mentioned above, the room was generally in good condition. There were a few areas that showed some wear or minor human-made stains, but nothing major. Honestly, you don't really use or even touch every single part of a suite; it's always just a few key areas. The bathtub issue might have been a 'historical problem' left by a previous guest, but at least I got it resolved. This does, however, suggest that there's room for improvement in terms of facility maintenance and even upgrades. **Dining:** The executive lounge's food has already been mentioned, so I won't repeat it. For breakfast, I went at 8 AM and 9 AM on the two different days. As expected, it was less crowded earlier. You swipe your room card, then an attendant guides you to an empty table and asks if you'd like coffee or tea. Overall, breakfast was quite good, offering most of the varieties you'd expect from a typical five-star hotel. **Final Thoughts:** One minor point of annoyance was the hotel's elevators. Many guests have mentioned the hassle of having to transfer elevators on the 88th floor to get from the hotel entrance to their room. Personally, I think the waiting time for the elevators is more frustrating than the transfer itself. From the 88th-floor lobby to the rooms on lower floors, there are four elevators. Without judging whether that's too many or too few, objectively speaking, every time I waited for an elevator from my room floor to the 88th floor, or from the 88th to my room, it always took over a minute. There was never a time when an elevator arrived within thirty or forty-five seconds of pressing the button. And often, when the elevator did arrive, it was empty. Perhaps it was because I stayed on a weekend and the hotel had an event? The above only represents my personal experience during this stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel room was great, and the manager on duty at the front desk had a good attitude. It was very convenient that I could store my luggage after checking out and pick it up later. The hotel also approved my request for a late check-out. It's super convenient for getting around. I'll definitely come back next time!

GGuest UserFirst, let's talk about transportation. You can take a taxi or drive there. It's about a 40-minute taxi ride from the city center. If you drive, hotel guests get free parking, which you can arrange at the front desk. Next, the environment. The environment is lovely. The entire resort is well laid out, with lush greenery, and I even saw many white doves. From the main lobby, if you're heading to the Breeze Restaurant (where the breakfast buffet is served), there's a complimentary shuttle cart available (takes about 3-5 minutes). Of course, taking a stroll through the villa area is also a great option. Now, about the service. The service was excellent. The taxi drop-off point is at the main entrance of the hot spring area, and you'll need to walk (about 3 minutes) to the main lobby to check in. The check-in process was very fast; I checked in around 2 PM and could go straight to my room. Upon check-in, you're assigned a butler who will add you on WeChat and send useful information about the resort, such as Wi-Fi details, hot spring hours, and breakfast buffet times. The butler also helps escort you to your room and carries your luggage, and even gave me a voucher for a fish spa treatment at the hot springs (one voucher is good for two people, usually costing 30 per person). Finally, some other points. 1. The hotel has two accommodation areas. One is on the 5th floor of the hot spring building. The advantage here is that it's very close to the hot springs, and you don't need to go outside. If your window faces the villa area, you get a panoramic view of the villas, with great greenery and views, and the price is more affordable. The other area is the villa section, which is closer to the breakfast buffet and offers rooms with private hot spring pools. 2. The breakfast buffet at Breeze Restaurant is from 7 AM to 10:30 AM (no food replenished after 10 AM). The breakfast selection is very rich, with a variety of Chinese, Cantonese, and Western options, and the taste is also good. 3. Guests staying at the hotel receive two hot spring tickets per room, for two separate visits. The first visit can be used on the day of check-in until 12 AM. The second visit is if you check out before 10 AM the next day, you can use the tickets until 6 PM. The tickets are linked to the ID cards used for check-in, so anyone planning to go to the hot springs needs to register their ID at check-in. A 500 deposit is required at check-in. Any consumption in the hot spring area can be charged to this deposit, or paid separately. The deposit refund upon checkout was very quick. 4. I booked a room on the 5th floor of the hot spring building. The room provides plastic slippers for the hot spring (anti-slip); there are no other disposable slippers. The wet and dry areas are separate, and disposable toilet seat covers and toiletries are provided. Although it's in the hot spring building, I didn't find it noisy at all.

GGuest UserRoom clean. Best plushies on mattress top. Feels luxurious sleeping in the bed. Standard bottled water, towel, coffee tea sachets. Clean room but we cannot control room temperature. However I lower the AC, room temps stay 25C The toilet partition is made of glass see through to the room and the curtain to cover the toilet is outside the toilet, in the room, which is a bad design. Water seep out at the base of the glass joints into the bedroom carpet, causing condensation. Across the street and just around the corner is the happening pedestrian street and the subway, making this place the best in location. Disadvantage: walking street is next to the garbage collection station. Walking in and out, the air smells. Lobby to check in and breakfast is at the 7th floor. Basic choice of food.

GGuest UserThe location was excellent, being right beside the Financial Centre metro station and in walking distance to the ShenYang North railway station. It is also easy to walk to the one of the biggest morning markets if you just follow the GaoDe Map. I also walked to the nearest museum as the roads are easy to walk. Highly recommend this place for the location and the affordable room rate. There are a lot of restaurants, mini-marts, fruit shops right below the house. There’s also a mall within walking distance. There’s even a small gym nearby if you really can’t do without gym. There are 3 halal restaurants within 5min walk distance from the apartment. The room I got was spacious and well designed in my opinion. The pillars are made into a full body mirror which came as a surprise to me. The room got all that I needed for my week-long stay. The Internet wasn’t stable enough for video calls. Bring some ear plugs cos the quality of the walls are really thin. Service from the owner was professional and really prompt. This is critical in this line of business. This owner’s apartments appear to be much more in demand. (I gave up on another apartment by another owner and came here instead. The other owner in another block was a complete disappointment. That’s why I was happy to have found such a professional owner.) Overall, can’t ask for more with this apartment at this rate. Definitely beyond my expectation. 👍
