Starting with the style of the hotel, I chose it because my boyfriend likes things that are more “sinister”, old furniture, photographs, etc. But I didn’t like sleeping in the room, I didn’t feel safe, it was very comfortable. Although the bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were extremely clean and there was nothing to complain about, we even had robes that we didn’t use because our stay was really short. The hotel has a very beautiful courtyard and the reception room is very interesting. Another thing that the hotel should take into account is the way they prepare breakfast, they send you a menu with only 3 choices and there are no photos or anything like that. My boyfriend and I chose a waffle with red fruit jam but it was so bad that we couldn’t even eat it and we left it all on the plate. They should have something simpler and that pleases all the guests like a pancake and Nutella on the side… croissant with eggs and avocado maybe or a plate with toast, eggs and baked beans…

Service was impeccable. Every staff member was so polite and eager to serve. I arrived late to the city and wouldn’t be able to check in till after 8:15pm and with a simple WhatsApp the receptionist waited till I arrived.
The room is spacious. The shower has good pressure and hot water was quick.
Towels and bed linen were clean.
I learned on my second day that I could get a coffee/espresso for free from reception and did it every day thereafter.
They were able to provide recommendations on food and travel and both restaurant recommendations were to die for. You must try Frici Papa in the next street from the hotel.
Transport is also very convenient. It’s located close to tram and bus stops not so much metro but then again the metro is a 5-7 min walk away. Tram ahd bus are 2 mins away. If you get the travel pass you can just ride the tram to the metro.
So close to terror museum and Andrassy Ave.
Definitely stay here if you are like me and it’s your first trip to Budapest and you want a comfortable quiet relaxing room to rest in at the end of the day.

I like this place and I will come back again. The room is beautiful but the hotel is a little bit hard to find but overall it is very good.

We stayed at Metropolis Boutique Hotel for two nights. The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel, and the location of the hotel are great. If I go to Budapest again, it is the best hotel I will choose. Only the hotel sign is very small, we had difficulty finding the place.

Everything was perfect. Room was clean, spatious, and easy to use. Staffs there was very friendly, and I could easily access to every famous place in Budapest. I would love to stay again!
