This eclectic and contemporary Hilton model will appeal to the trend driven traveler. The entrance and lobby level which includes the bar and restaurant is spacious and bright in spite of the absolute zero commercial settings very close to O'Hare airport. The black-and-white graphics and similarly painted models are bizarre. Curious, having relatively nothing to do with the bordello-like elevator lobby areas. Consider it all Art. A QR code restaurant menu has a good selection again, contemporary food with a city vibe not particularly iconic Chicago. Our deluxe king room was large and spacious, the bathroom especially, walk-in shower, plenty of hot water and pressure. Welcome design feature is the window blind system. An aluminum frame captures shades completely, blocking out all light. The deep double pane window masks all sounds, don't hit your head when you're looking out the window on the inner glass. We travel with night lights, put them in the bathrooms in virtually every hotel we visit. If you get up in the night you'll want that, it's extremely dark in the room. USB ports are in good places, this is becoming the norm especially in global travel. people won't be needing different adapters and chargers for much longer. The desk desperately needs a task lamp of some type, the toilet paper roll is strangely way too far from the toilet, don't see how that helps. A person with a mobility device would also have trouble reaching it. We took Uber from the international terminal only to discover the easily identifiable Rose hotel's shuttle sitting right there, running every half hour 24 hours a day back to ORD. That's a bonus. Overall a far better value stay the night savvy distressed beat up over priced Hilton in-terminal option at ORD

Best location if you need to return rental car before you fly. Just 3 minutes drive.
The hotel facilities have been recently renovated and everything is spot-on!
The room has absolutely everything you would ever need, good coffee, appliances, nice lightning, super clean bathroom. Reading chair and working desk.
(The only problem is they don't offer water in the room).
Nice swimming pool and gym.
Downsides: They charge parking, and the check-in staff could be kinder. They interacted with me and other foreign guests in a rather bossy way.

Because, like last year, the Road Bear organization for the camper removal specials was here, yet this hotel was booked again. I would like to stay in a little more modern hotel, but the bus to the factory leaves here and it is very easy. Best spacious rooms (829), but a extra easy chair, as well as a refrigerator and a safe missed. The indoor is from the 1960s, and we hope that the Edward Hotel will be renovated in the coming years, and we had a vision of O'Hare Airport with a lot of noise from departing aircraft.

We missed a flight, were stuck in Chicago, and booked a night here and couldn’t have been happier. Jennifer at the front desk helped with getting dinner picked up and delivered and everyone treated us great. Indian restaurant delivered late.

This property appears to be a repurposed Howard Johnson’s. The shape of the sign and a piece of memorabilia on the wall were good clues. The only good factors that I can mention are that the bed was very comfortable and many of the shuttle drivers were very nice and professional. They advertise a continental breakfast on site. What they have is a choice of two cereals and wrapped crackers. There is coffee but we found that it was not attended, as once the two pots were empty, they remained empty. When I did have a cup, it had grounds in it. The room had a toilet with slow filling tank. The shower valve in the tub was stuck in the open position. The toilet paper falls apart. The microwave oven is being held together with duct tape. Most of the shuttle drivers and desk clerks were friendly. The lady in the daytime seemed a bit snobby though. The room cleaning service is very minimal. We stayed 5 nights and the bed was made only once. The room was never vacuumed during our stay. The garbage was emptied on when we asked the cleaning man to do it.

The service was good. I had trouble at check in with the credit cards and the staff was helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only problem was the phone was broken and wouldn't shut up...so I unplugged it and notified the front desk. Check out was simple also and the shuttle to and from the airport was useful. Pick up is at the Terminal 2 shuttle area and you take the team there. If you have a very early flight the shuttle might be an iffy choice. I also ate at the restaurant which was delicious and the service was good.

I was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews on here. Front desk staff is friendly. The rooms are really nice (although the pillows are not comfortable) and you can not beat the location. You can take the airport shuttle to the hotel (great service) and it's maybe a 10 walk to the Rosemont Blue Line L station which will take you downtown. If you're seeing a show at the Rosemont Theatre it takes you maybe 5 minutes to walk. The breakfast was good (friendly omelet makers and clean up staff) although the evening drinks could be better. Some people complained about noise from atrium which is really only a bother if you are still sleeping when breakfast is served. I would definitely stay here again.

1 star is generous, unfortunatley it won't let me give 0. WORST HOTEL EVER, DO NOT BOOK!! Often I see reviews like this and think 'it can't be that bad, it's just a bed to sleep in'.. trust me, it can. Awful from start to finish. RUDE horrible reception staff (female, won't mention name but rhymes with Sia) from check in, non-smoking room STANK of smoke and a musty stale smell. Aeroplanes going overhead every 30 secs (not their fault but impossible to sleep). People smoking ****/arguing outside your door. We asked to move rooms and were told we exceeded the 15min reporting time (this is not stated anywhere and was a blatant lie and how ridiculous that they expect you to get back to reception within 15 mins - we were debating whether we could put up with it but also frantically trying to find somewhere local for dinner before everywhere shut within the hour as we arrived in the vening). Receptionist refused us to move rooms as said they had none available, yet loads on booking.com. Told us to speak to manager and was our own fault for not researching the hotel better (how they could blame us I don't know).. then gave us a fake email and a phone number for reception where manager was not even on shift and it just went back to the miserable girl. Then told us we could move rooms (despite saying they had no spare rooms) only to put us in another smelly one, then finally gave us a better smelling room as a last resort as they refused to refund us (which is just awful) yet there were black hairs all in the bed and we had to sleep fully clothed on top of the sheets and felt sooo dirty and gross!!! We beared two nights there as everything else cost $400+ but I was willing to pay any amount of money to avoid it if they hadn't found us a room that smelt remotely acceptable (which she had clearly just ran around with antibac spray). Please please please do not give these people your money or custom, they are rude, obnoxious, have the worst customer service and I would rather have slept in a dog kennel, outside, in the rain.

I visited the Warwick Allerton with a group of friends over a three night stay. The hotel is older, in the midst of a remodel. Our room was fine, appeared to be remodeled. It was clean, comfortable bed and furniture. Housekeeping had to be scheduled and we ran out of toilet paper before the scheduled service. Additionally our wifi was continually disconnecting. Alicia from the front desk offered to come up to our room, reset our wifi and delivered 2 rolls of toilet paper. She arrived within minutes of me talking to her. She was friendly and very helpful. The hotel charges a $15.00 daily service fee. The restaurant was closed for remodeling and there was no food on the premises. There may have been a gym, which we did not use. I fail to see the benefits of the facility fee and would rather just have the room charge be higher if the hotel needs to make a higher profit on the rooms. The hotel is in a good location for shopping and restaurants. The valet service was also efficient.

Outstanding
NNicole Plantenis1. Didn’t asked for accesible room, but that’s what I got.
2. AC/heating system had a weird noise all night, you can’t turn it on because literally you won’t sleep.
3. Shower had someone’s else hairs in the shower wall, gross.
- Hotel Manager: if you do not trust the team and their responsibilities, then you will have to do the rounds yourself to ensure your hotel is operating properly in all aspects.
- Housekeeping manager: If you do not trust your people, you will have to do the rounds yourself.
-If you still do your rounds but you don’t inspect the rooms properly, then you shouldn’t be in that position.
Room fridge isn’t working in the rooms (front desk mentioned) so they ask you if you need one to ask front desk but they are charging for it, so who’s fault is it? client or hotel? don’t charge for something you need to repair REGARDLESS. Make no sense for customer service.
Also, if you guys are having a group of “young teen/just turn 21” people, why would you put someone on the accesible room by their room? If someone requires an accesible room, in this case I didn’t required one, got assigned one, but imagine an elder person by their room. These “kids” were loud as heck until 4AM, fighting, arguing, drunk, crying, overall it was a nightmare.
Normally I have a good experience with Sheratons, but this one is overrated.
I chose this hotel because last minute the company I work for had a meeting suggesting to find different hotels that may give us a group rate for the upcoming visits we will have to do in Chicago, but there’s no way I will suggest my coworkers to stay at this hotel with a first time bad experience.
Not sure if I would give it a second try. Can’t risk it.
GGuest UserThe hotel has a good location, just beside Michigan Avenue, and convenient to all major attractions in Chicago. The hotel environment is also very good. It is quiet and clean. The space is large enough. There is sufficient hot water supply, but there is no hot water to drink. We brought our own heat The most distinctive feature of the kettle for boiling water is the hotel’s robots, which can deliver water and daily necessities, which are available on demand, great! We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but there are many restaurants around, which are very convenient. The waiters in the hotel are very good and the service is very warm and thoughtful. Our trip felt very good, the price was affordable and the process was comfortable!
GGuest UserWe almost always stay at Marriotts or HIltons — when we've stayed at boutique hotels, we've found that the rooms are a little too quirky or way too overpriced (or both!). But this was the recommended hotel for a nearby wedding, so we booked it. And it exceeded our expectations, and then some. The room was massive, with a gorgeous bathroom, high ceilings, and excellent bedding. The food at the restaurant downstairs was great. And the staff was remarkably friendly (our stay was from a Saturday night through Monday morning, and with street parking being free on Sundays, the staff gave us a heads up so we could save the money instead of parking in a nearby garage). We loved this hotel — we'd happily stay here again!
GGuest UserWonderful front desk staff. We were in Chicago for a wedding, and the location, though in a mostly commercial area, was very good for walking around and setting the city. The room was clean and spacious. Would definitely stay there again.
冰冰儿CarolineThis is the second time staying, and I have nothing to complain about the hotel.
The booking made by Ctrip was very unpleasant. I prepaid the room fee when I made the reservation. When I checked in for the first time, the front desk said that they had not received the reservation, and I needed to prepay the full room rate with a credit card at the front desk. Later, I contacted Ctrip's customer service and checked in smoothly. I encountered this situation again when I checked in for the second time. This time Ctrip did not pay the room fee to the hotel before I checked in. It was midnight domestic time when I checked in. I couldn't wait for the domestic work and they paid the hotel for the room. Check in again, so there is no alternative but to pre-authorize the full room rate with credit card again at the front desk. The trouble is that it took about a month for the US pre-authorization to be revoked. In short, I was still very dissatisfied with many international long-distance calls to Ctrip.
I have been using Ctrip for more than ten years, and I have been upgraded to a super member. As a result of the communication, my impression of Ctrip is really discounted. In the future, foreign hotels will no longer be booked on Ctrip.
GGuest UserComfortable hotel, was a nice stay but overall I wish I would have spent an extra $50-75 a night to stay somewhere nicer. Upon entering there are 2 front desks, one with a sign for VOCO and one with a sign for Holiday Inn, when I arrived I stood at the VOCO side and eventually the employee from the holiday inn side asked if I needed anything to which I replied that I was checking in and she rolled her eyes and responded “okay……then come over here” not sure how I was supposed to know it was one hotel and I could check in at holiday inn? Still not 100% sure if this is a holiday inn rebranded or why the front desk attendant felt the need to be rude. Pros: - great water pressure - good lighting in the bathroom - quick delivery/service of towels - large room, updated furniture - water stations are super convenient, can fill the provided glass jugs and keep them in your fridge - safe area right on the Riverwalk - great view from room Cons: - I went down to the market to get plastic silverware for takeout and had to pay $1.12 for a plastic fork…..couldn’t be charged to the room, just a bad experience having to go back up to my room and get my credit card to buy a fork after traveling for 8 hours and wanting to relax and eat dinner, for $900 for a 3 night stay I think a plastic fork could be complimentary - The heat/AC completely shut off my last night, the thermostat died/none of the buttons or fan would work, I can’t speak to how they would have handled it because I didn’t try, it was 10pm and I was just tired and didn’t want to deal with someone coming to the room - overall the staff just seems disinterested in your presence or experience, even when checking out I let them know about the thermostat so they could get it fixed for the next room and they just replied “okay” - could have been a little cleaner, see picture of fan where metal covering is coming off and corner was sharp
GGuest UserThe experience from check-in to check-out was superb. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect because it is the heart of everything on Michigan Avenue! When we walked out of the hotel, shopping and restaurants were all around! I would definitely stay here again in the future.
GGuest UserChecking in at the
Congress Plaza was so straight forward. I was upgraded without asking to a King size bed with a lake view. The room was perfect. Fridge, safe, TV , Coffee and water.
GGuest UserWe got lucky and got an okay room with no significant health violations. The facilities are very dated but we expected that by reading the reviews. One alarming factor was that the locks did not work at all. The check-in was okay, but the receptionist was not very communicative.
