Ppokomi36We stayed in a room with a kitchen for six nights as part of a parent-child study abroad program, with two adults and a six-year-old.
There was a large supermarket in the basement and a convenience store and several restaurants open until late at night on the first floor.
The room was very clean and we didn't encounter any bugs.
All the necessary kitchen utensils were provided, and the staff washed the dishes when they cleaned the room.
There was a one-gallon water bottle, which was very helpful.
However, the bed was a double, so it was a bit cramped, with no space for an extra bed.
However, they provide a baby cot and a sofa, so it's manageable.
There was also a washing machine, which was convenient, but the drying function was weak, so you'd need to dry your clothes on hangers.
There is no separate drying function.
So, if you're staying for a long time, it would be useful to have hangers for drying clothes.
I had the opportunity to stay in another maisonette-style room with a kitchen, and the bed was spacious and there was a bathtub, so I recommend it.
The breakfast was delicious and varied, with a wide selection of breads, Filipino dishes, Western food, and porridge, so I never got bored of it.
The pool also had a great atmosphere, and although the gym by the pool is really small, it was nice that I could just go back and forth to the pool.
Alcohol is also available.
However, since it's on the 9th floor, it was a bit windy and a bit chilly to go in in the evenings.
The staff here were all very friendly, and I had a great experience.

GGuest UserThe staff is great from doorman, check-in to breakfast/restaurant. Very friendly and warm. They treat you with sincere respect. The rooms are very clean with amenities and towles never missing.
For breakfast, they offer a wide range of food and variety. I didn't get tired even after 4 breakfasts.
Location is awesome, too. Basically attached to the mall, every kind of food (Jollibee to yakiniku and high-end pancake place) is within 3-5 minute walking distance. Sugbo Mercado is 3 minutes away on foot. Simply the best in the area.

My family and I had a great time staying there for a few days.
Lovely was truly lovely—it really suited her name. She was the most accommodating from the very start. We wanted to thank her again during check-out, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to see her. She went above and beyond in hospitality, and you’re lucky to have her. Keep up the great work.
As for breakfast—OMG, we loved it! Special mention to the one who makes the coffee. Just a small note: it would be nice to improve or change the chafing dishes so the food stays hot. Other than that, the food and service were great.
I will definitely choose this hotel from now on, as we always stay in the city for a few days before heading to our rest house.
See you again soon, and thank you for the birthday cake and balloons!

BBeverly J. BeverleyWe love Nustar so much! This is probably our 5th time here! Stayed here from Nov 5 to 7 as it’s Mine and my bros bday and it was after Typhoon Tino. As always they are very accomodating, friendly and helpful and gave me a piece of cake and fruit bowl but this time I ask for a happy birthday note on the monitor for background pic for me & entire family as celebration but they keep telling me they will send someone up but no one really came from the IT department . I did expect a happy birthday greeting on the monitor it would have been very special, but I understand as maybe they are so busy and under staff because of the typhoon and instead of 2 pm check and we were able to check in very late like 5:30 pm because they’re probably under staffs but all of these did not ruin our overall stay as new star staffs are all very welcoming. We had birthday dinner in the good luck hotpot which is just inside Nustar as well. Thank you Nustar for being very welcoming , friendly and hand on chest when Greeting guest is such a Nustar trademark  please trade me a guest feel welcome and at home

The main restaurants were a bit overpriced for what you got, and while the roasted suckling pig show at the buffet was entertaining, the pig itself was pretty bad. However, the outdoor BBQ buffet had good food and entertainment.

GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay in Crimson Resort, the room is big and spacious for families, the staff are friendly and well trained, the four pools are huge and fun and the daily breakfast is delicious. We especially enjoyed the foam party at adult pool and Crimzone pool, the playground in Crimsone, the seaweed collection activity, snorkeling and the complete amenities of the room. Cebu beach is so pretty. Big shout-out to Clint in breakfast for his very warm service to me and my daughter.
Cons:
- There was no housekeeping done on 2nd day of my stay which was not informed to me in advance, I think that was not professional.
- They don’t allow food delivery in but the food in the resort is not that delicious to be had everyday (I tried sisig, inasal and pizza).
- You need grab or taxi to go out to Cebu city (and face the jam) as the shuttle only runs 3x a day, so it’s not convenient if you want to explore Cebu.

GGuest UserBreakfast was great. The location is excellent, close to everything, and easy to find. My only minor issues were the lack of in-room slippers and no toiletries provided. However, they made up for it by offering unlimited drinking water conveniently located just outside the room.

AAnonymous UserFirst of all i would like to say thank you to all the staff especially to Francis the manager at the Bar and the receptionist girl name Ruth she is very pleasant i really appreciate the helpfulness, and also the treatment they gave us it was a delightful experienced i worked in a service industry too and this is really important to have those excellent service in order to sustain the business, whoever is the owner of this hotel please do appreciate the hard-work of Francis the manager at the bar and Ruth im really glad of what he did for us during our stay, the staff are well trained, and overall the room is huge, and clean the amenities are great:)

JJan MoreThe staff were so nice and accommodating. They truly cared for us when the earthquake happened on the night we were sleeping in our rooms. We used the stairs from the 5th floor post incident fearing for the aftershocks…we all stayed by the under renovation pool to stay away from the building in case it collapsed. The building swayed so much with the 6.9 magnitude..it was scary. The staff were calm and kept us all comfortable despite being scared themselves too. They helped us all moved to the 2nd floor after midnight post safety inspection.
