From the moment we arrived, the caretaker's service was truly exceptional. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Their warmth and professionalism made a huge difference.
The house itself was spotlessly clean and very well-maintained. It was clear that great care is taken to ensure the comfort and hygiene of the guests.
As a whole-house rental with three spacious bedrooms, it was perfectly suited for our family. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably.
One of the major conveniences was the fully equipped kitchen. It had every single cooking utensil and appliance we could possibly need, which made preparing meals for the family easy and enjoyable.

Checking in at the reception doesn't take long to get a code to enter the room. Accommodation has an apartment and a house.
There is a line to talk to the staff at the accommodation, but we didn't add. I think there is a problem, so I will contact you.

We stayed in an apartment, no elevator.
There is a parking lot
The room has a kitchen. Can be made with a fishing rod, dining table, stove can be used normally. It's some stove head
There is a stove that cans of gas. But you have to prepare your own gas (did not try)

There is a small drying rack provided
There are two air conditioners, separate central and bedroom.
The bedroom has 4 single beds, spacious, can easily spread a large suitcase at the same time, with a corridor, probably the widest room on the trip.
The view may not be much, a tree and a quiet house, but if the room upstairs makes a loud noise Will hear

Kkana.tabiThe meals in the evening and in the morning were delicious! I went in the middle of summer, but it was so cool and comfortable that I was able to sleep with the windows open at night without turning on the air conditioner. I was a little worried about the unisex toilets on the second floor, but the toilets on the first floor were separated for men and women, so I used the one on the first floor.
The owner was also very kind, and after checking out, he drove me to the nearest station. This was very helpful as I had a lot of luggage. The price was also reasonable, so I was very satisfied. I would like to use this hotel again on my next summer trip to Nagano.

GGuest UserThe hotel offers a shuttle service to JR Hakuba Station and Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal. We booked the shuttle and it was incredibly convenient! Thank you very much! The only minor downside was that the hotel gym didn't have any dumbbells. 😁

We had an excellent experience at Garden Pension Obogurgl. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the Hakuba Goryu lifts, which made getting on the mountain super easy every day. The pension itself is cozy, clean, and peaceful, with a lovely garden that adds to the charm.
Our room was warm and comfortable, with plenty of space for ski gear, and the communal areas had a relaxed, homely vibe. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with local tips and transport advice.
We especially enjoyed being able to walk everywhere—whether it was to the nearby convenience stores, local restaurants, or just strolling among the beautiful pine trees. The large cherry blossom tree out the front added a special touch to the peaceful surroundings. If you're after a quiet, scenic, and welcoming place to stay in Hakuba Goryu, Garden Pension Obogurgl is a fantastic choice.

GGuest UserThe location is very good, a few tens of meters away is a free bus stop, you can go to various ski resorts, the boss is very enthusiastic, can provide the village station shuttle and a lot of help you need, we stayed for three nights, arranged a two-story suite, The toilet kitchen living room is independent, the tatami is upstairs, very warm and warm, next time you choose to go here

GGuest UserHad a really good stay at Oak Forest. Stay accommodated for English speaking guests and assist with luggage hold on day of check in and out. Breakfast provided was really good. Onsen was a welcome part of the stay after a day of ski.
Location is a bit inconvenient as it requires a decent walk or taxi to main bus terminal and other resorts. But there is accessible restaurants in walking decent to Echoland. The bus for pickup to resorts is directly in front of the hotel or short walk to Echoland spicy for the hakuba valley bus.
Overall recommend but would be amazing if hotel could assist in initial pickup and dropoff transfers to bus terminal for guests with luggage.

GGuest UserI stayed here alone and really enjoyed my trip. The whole hotel had a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere, allowing me to relax and unwind surrounded by Hakuba's nature. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The hot spring bath was fantastic, perfect for soothing my tired body after a day of sightseeing. The staff were consistently polite and attentive, which made my stay even more pleasant. Breakfast offered a great variety, including local ingredients, leaving me feeling satisfied every morning. The hotel's quiet surroundings were lovely for walks, and its location, immersed in Hakuba's natural beauty, was a real highlight. It's also a convenient base for exploring. I would definitely want to stay here again if I visit Hakuba in the future.
