"The location is out of city center . It is close to ski slopes. The breakfast was good and have a lot of variety. But the amenities in the bathroom is really limited does not match the 5 stars hotel."

"We do really love this hotel. It’s on our special occasion and they contacted us prior to arrive if we want to have cake. They also arrange a hand written card which is very cute. The room is spacious with nice decoration, room also have a kitchen and dining area with ding tools. Staff is very helpful and friendly, we planned for a cherry blossom but it’s too soon. She recommends us for a nearby town with full bloom period. I can’t remember her name but she’s great. For next time in Hakuba, we’ll surely stay here again!"

"Receptionist aren’t polite upon check-in/ unfriendly and very rude towards customers! Not helpful at all! The only great staff are AO Suyama and Shuji kato, they were working very professionally up to Marriott’s standards. Restaurant all are excellent! Super nice super friendly and very professional in there profession. Housekeeping need to ask for everything ! Very tiring! Room was dusty a lot hairs ! Old facilities! Not a happy stay!"

"Nice hotel, room is quite spacious. Hot springs are one of our favorites facilities, they provide free ice cream and milk. 4-5 private onsen in the hotel (pre-book). Varities of breakfast but it’s the same every day. They have free flow drinks and snacks in late afternoon and evening. ski & snowboard rental shop in the hotel is quite limited and out dated, locker room also."

"My wife and I had an excellent stay at hotel hakuba. It was easy for us to access the neighbouring ski resorts using the free shuttle bus provided by the ski resorts. The breakfast had a good spread and an even better view. One negative feedback is that the beds in the double room is quite uncomfortable."

"The front desk staff are all very helpful and quick to serve all guests and their requests. My right hand became inflamed and swollen during my trip and they were very helpful to call for a car to get me to a clinic ASAP. Shout out to Mr Max and Ms Haruka. Wonderful stay and we will hope to be back again."
