We had an amazing time in this great Ryokan! The staff is great, the food is delicious and hot tubs super/very clean. We spent 2 weeks in Japan and our 4-night at Yokikan offered calm, relaxing and reinvigorating time in this traditional Japanese hotel, perfect for the family. Ito is also a beautiful city to visit. The hotel owners (husband and wife) are amazing and the staff too. We will go back for sure.... The hotel is located on a hillside, facing the Pacific Ocean in the east and Mount Omuro in the west (Mount Omuro cannot be seen from the hotel because it is blocked by the hillside). The sea view is excellent. The hotel respects the traditional Japanese service style, and the service is generally good. The lobby has free drinks and ice cream for guests to relax, and the restaurant also provides free supper (dandan noodles). The room is a combination of Japanese and Western, and the hot springs are indoors and outdoors. I personally prefer outdoor hot springs. The breakfast of the one-night two-meals plan is a Western buffet, and the dinner is a Japanese set meal. The main dish is beef, and you can pay 3500 yen to upgrade to better quality beef.

I was intruded by the car for two days a night. When I stopped to park because there was a parking lot near the entrance and the place near the entrance at the time of arrival, it was a parking lot of the far side that was invited to this side and guided, so I stopped at the nearer side. Check-in was politely guided by the facilities, but it was very office. The reservation was away with an open-air bath, but it was a two-story building and a first floor room of four rooms. The free service of hot water, Yakult, coffee milk and milk is heart-hating. The dishes are two choices of meat pottery and seafood shabu shabu, and you will choose at check-in. I thought I would choose meat and fish with my husband and wife, but I chose the seafood shabu shabu because I could only choose the same thing for two people. It was a 60 year old couple, but I was able to enjoy the amount, seasoning, and variety with my eyes. Dinner and breakfast were very satisfying in all, including the staff's response. However, the check-in was 16 o'clock, and the 19:45 assigned to the first order dinner was a bit slow. I didn't use it, but there was a service of soup powder to fill the belly until late dinner and a service of night ringing ramen. Check out was smooth without waiting because it was possible to finish after breakfast. The room was very satisfied with the dishes and the public bath while expecting improvement with a severe evaluation.

The bus stop is about six or seven minutes' walk, and there are few buses. There may be no buses after 5 pm, and most of the travel depends on walking. There are beautiful single-family houses nearby. It is very comfortable to take a walk after dinner

I used it for a few days back, but I stayed for the first time. It is convenient to use the day-trip hot spring hall after checking out on the day of the stay. The pool is also available at a discount price and full of elements that can be enjoyed quite. The room chose a large room with a veranda, but it may be good to be far from the main building and narrow. I was at the day trip hot spring hall and tried to use it open-air. It is not cheap, but you can relax with your family. The zashiki is also large. However, there is nothing to bring food and drink (with a refrigerator). The public bath is a great view open-air bath as well as a day trip. It becomes a little narrow version. It is a great view whenever you go.

Izu Okawa Onsen. I have traveled to Izu for several dozen times, but it was the first hot spring area to visit. After I was lost in Shimoda or inatori, I decided to check out the muddy hot water and late check out. It is attracted to the pure Japanese style inn with a late check-out that is not unusual in a foreign hotel. Building ４０ years, a hot spring inn of one house. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable, although there is a feeling of secret around. The appearance of the inn is normal, but the lobby is well sensed from the entrance. At check-in, there was a service of matcha and Japanese confectionery in the lounge, which was good to relieve. The room I booked was a tatami room, unlike other western rooms, it felt that it was not renewed, but it was arranged in a small and easy to use room. I tasted the luxury of renting a large open-air bath alone. All meals are provided in the room and fresh sashimi. It was delicious, but I was sorry that I left too much.
