I feel that there was no cleanliness than I thought in the photograph. The futon smelled like a smell, but the pillow was okay, so I could sleep. Also, the cooling seems to have been new, but when the wind volume is raised, the sound is noisy and I can't sleep, so I set the temperature to low and let the wind volume sleep. The front desk was very good and the amenities were substantial.

The location of the hotel is convenient. It is not far from the core area of Sannomiya (commercial streets and stations, which are the main places visited by tourists), and it can be reached in a short walk. And it happens to be not far from America Park, which is perfect for a walk at night. I think the hotel itself is neat and clean. Since I'm only staying in Kobe for one night, I basically don't have time to stay in the hotel. I just want to spend the night, so the experience is not particularly profound. I just think it's convenient and has no other worries.

Chose this hotel as I was attached by the line” renovated in 2023” in trip.com. It did not live up to my expectation as the room was rather old esp carpet, not feeling it’s clean.
The twin beds were small while the picture didn’t show that they were that small. Well, the description was like 0.9-1.4m wide so I can’t blame anyone given it’s a wide range in the bed size.
Breakfast is good with lots of variety. The view was great. All in all, it’s not a bad experience if you can manage yourself with the misnomer description of “renovation”.

2nd stay at the hotel. Once with a group of 16 and this time with my family of 3.
To be fair, the stay was comfortable and I was initially very pleased at choosing Hotel Okura Kobe again.
The reason for my low rating is that the hotel laundry service ruined 3 of my sweaters which were sent for dry cleaning. The sweaters have been dry cleaned before without incident but were shrunk considerably after cleaning at the hotel. I believe the dry cleaning was mismanaged and wrote in to give feedback, specifically that this type of mistake with laundry should not be happening at a hotel which markets itself on the higher end of the spectrum. Did receive a cookie cutter reply from the housekeeping manager acknowledging my complaint.
I think the incident was perhaps caused by new staff that were poorly trained. Pity, the incident ruined my experience and resulted in the poor rating for an otherwise pleasant stay.

The location is very convenient, not far from JR Yuanshao Station, one stop to Sannomiya, opposite Daimaru Department Store, 711, next to Nanjing. The room is small, but clean and hygienic, standard air purifier, no bathtub, shower equipment is very good. The lobby and breakfast room are on the second floor, the breakfast is not very rich, and the overall satisfaction is very good!

Location and cleanliness are decent as expected, but many amenities such as green tea, shower cap and pillows (only 1 per bed) are missing.

I use it when I travel to Kobe, and this is the third time this time. I always choose a large room with a bus unit, but the interval between the toilet and the bath is wide and relaxing and can be satisfied. The bath here is directly connected to the Goshobo source, and you can enjoy fresh hot springs more than the head family's Goshobo. There are two private baths like a slightly larger family bath, and it is a system that can be used at any time if it is free without reservation. Since you can use the large communal bath of Goshobo for a certain time in the evening, everyone seems to be going there, and both of these baths were monopolized and unlimited from afternoon to night. It is a perfect inn for hot springs, but it is a little expensive for long stays. I have to cut 10,000 yen without meals for one night.

The waitress told me the name of the vegetable ,how did the chief cook it and what’s the benefit of my healthy.I really enjoy my birthday vegan dinner. There are two rooms and one yard next to my private bath room. I can see the bird in the yard and enjoy my bath in the room. Great staff , Nice room and definitely will come back again.這次是第二次造訪，因為第一次體驗很好所以選擇生日時候來這裡度假放鬆。餐點是精進料理，女服務生對於蔬菜的解說很詳細，我感受到日本人的文化及專業的服務。很享受的生日晚宴。房間裡包含有日式房跟洋式房及一間私人庭院泡澡浴缸及庭院。早晨拉開紙門可以看到庭院的鳥兒叫，陽光透過樹葉灑落在榻榻米上，喝杯茶走到庭院感受有馬山林的空氣，有淡淡的竹子味道，還可以在自己的浴缸看到綠意的庭院，享受早晨的寧靜。當然早餐也是很棒的享受，健康飲食讓身體沒有負擔，整個人可以沈澱的心靈跟身體的resort.感覺很好還會再來。

The front was a main road, but the room was quiet. The staff 々 also felt good, and it was helpful to keep my luggage for a little time after checking out. The room was clean and he had a view of the city. (Middle floor) The buffet-style breakfast was also fulfilling and delicious for the reasonable accommodation fee. It is convenient to walk to the sightseeing tour bus stop in 5 minutes ～ 6 minutes.

Ggmsl2018It would take a whole page of details to describe how nice this place is in 2020. I stayed there three times, each time in different rooms, each time perfect. It is just NICE. Location is perfect, quiet yet one stop from Kobe, the neighborhood is romantic like Greenwich Village or Montmartre or a nice place in San Francisco. The little house is very cute, very homey, with a large common space. The staff are incredible. Just rush to stay there before the team get old and change business. For the time being, they are super super master of genuine hospitality. They made me understand what is the pinnacle of a ”guesthouse Japanese style”. There is an elevated railway line running just on the other side of the street. It is not a problem because during the night, there are no trains. I fully recommend this place.
