I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the center of Vienna. The location was perfect, with many attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast offered a great selection of fresh food, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. Arte is conveniently located near the Central Station, making it easy to walk over with luggage. I chose this hotel because the room was spacious enough to open two large suitcases or more. The front desk staff were also very polite. We accidentally broke a coffee cup and saucer, but when we informed the front desk, they didn't charge us. All the mini-bar drinks are complimentary, and there's a coffee machine – highly recommended! The only downside is that the bathroom doesn't have a door, but since we're a couple, it wasn't an issue. If you're staying with friends and that bothers you, you might want to skip this place.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station, making it easy to reach on foot from Salzburg Central Station, even with a lot of luggage. The rooms offer minimal amenities, as it's a sustainable hotel. Just like in Germany, there's no mini-fridge in the room, which was inconvenient when I wanted a cold drink. My only options were to buy one at the hotel bar or at a supermarket near the station. I highly recommend waking up early and taking a walk around the hotel. The streets are beautiful.

Nice 4-star hotel with an indoor pool and sauna. Located right behind the central station, with convenient access to shopping areas. Small gym; however, the lack of disposable cups was a bit inconvenient. The mattress was not very comfortable and the pillows didn’t provide enough support, but the water pressure in the shower was strong and the temperature was just right.

The breakfast is good, the location is also very good, close to the train station. The front desk and breakfast are opposite the room. There is also a parking lot. There is no car. I don't know how the parking lot is charged.

I love this hotel a lot. it’s a small family owned one but very neat and tidy, breakfast tastes so good and the staff are all very nice. it’s around just 5 minutes walk to central train station which makes it so much easier for us after long whole day trips. It definitely worth staying!

Airport access is also extremely straightforward. Bus number 2 from Salzburg Airport stops just a minute’s walk from the hotel, making transfers simple, quick and inexpensive. This is particularly helpful if you have luggage or an early flight. I would recommend Hotel Mercure Salzburg City to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel that balances convenience with good value. It’s not overly luxurious, but it offers everything you need for a smooth and enjoyable stay in Salzburg, making it a smart choice for both short city breaks and longer trips.

Online in person registration should be illegal lmao, what are humans for then? I agree with Pre online checking but in person online checking is kinda dumb. Also want to mention that you guys send too much emails, especially annoying when its not translated into the traveler language. Appart from that it was clean, simple but nice hotel. I would recommend it, good value! Lacks better luminosity in the bathroom. Toilets and sink area are too dark.
