"Before coming to Hangzhou, I was worried about choosing the wrong guesthouse near the scenic spots. After comparing over a dozen, I finally settled on this one, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The location is absolutely perfect. I'm somewhat directionally challenged, and it took me three days to figure out the exact area, but it's a 3-minute walk to the zoo and a 10-minute walk to Su Causeway. There's a bus stop right outside, with direct routes to Lingyin Temple and Leifeng Pagoda. Plus, the street across is full of great food, so you don't have to go far. The room was even cleaner than the photos suggested, and the hygiene was exceptional, easily making up for its slightly older feel. The soundproofing was excellent too; I couldn't hear any outside noise at all, which meant I could get a good night's sleep after a tiring day. The owner was incredibly nice, proactively helping me with my luggage and sharing lots of local tips for sightseeing and dining, which helped me avoid many tourist traps. The value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Hangzhou."

"I booked this place specifically for its proximity to West Lake and the mountain view rooms! The actual experience was even better than expected! The location is right in the core scenic area of West Lake, making it super convenient to get to Su Causeway or Lingyin Temple by taxi, and also great for cycling. No worries about transportation at all. The room was clean and tidy, and the large bed was incredibly soft and comfortable – I slept wonderfully. Soaking in the tub at night while enjoying the mountain view completely washed away the day's fatigue. The service was also a huge plus. The owner sent check-in instructions in advance, responded instantly to any questions, and even recommended local favorite restaurants. We also received a small gift and an afternoon tea set upon arrival, and the desserts were delicious! 😄 The terrace in the common area is fantastic for photos! With its white tables and chairs against a green mountain backdrop, every shot looks like an Instagram-worthy masterpiece. I took so many beautiful pictures. I also went to Prince Bay Park on my own and got some lovely photos of the tulips and the popular flower boat. For a place within the West Lake scenic area, it's really great value for money. The facilities are new, and all the appliances and bathroom fixtures are reliable. Overall, a perfect experience!"

This is my second time visiting Buzushan, and the service is still as attentive as ever – a definite thumbs up! 👍 However, just like last time, I didn't have enough time to properly explore the scenery of the mountain stream. "Our stay at Longjing Mood in Hangzhou was absolutely delightful! We traveled from Shanghai to Suzhou and then to Hangzhou, with my daughter booking all the hotels. The Hanting in Shanghai was quite standard, and the Anji in Suzhou was decent. But Longjing Mood in Hangzhou truly blew us away. First off, the courtyard is a charming little garden, giving it a lovely traditional garden feel. The room itself was very spacious. I was traveling with two children, and the owner kindly upgraded us for free to a room with a sofa that converts into a bed. The main bed was also huge, surrounded by a high canopy that was open at the top, so when you lay down and looked at the ceiling, it didn't feel stuffy like a regular mosquito net. The bathroom even had a bathtub, which was perfect for the kids to splash around in during the hot midday. What truly stood out was the owner's guidance on itineraries and food recommendations – absolutely no duds! The Wangyuan Lakeside Restaurant next to the B&B completely captivated my two children; we ate there three times! The owner's recommendation for watching the sunset at Changqiao Park by West Lake was also incredible. We arrived by taxi just as the round sun was about to set, casting golden hues over West Lake. The timing was perfect, and I'm so grateful for the owner's warm and thoughtful guidance. Beyond providing comfortable accommodation, they also prepared some Perler beads for the kids to keep themselves entertained. And as we were leaving, they discreetly hung a bag of West Lake Longjing tea on our luggage. The owner of Longjing Mood is truly a meticulous and passionate individual. Thank you for putting such a perfect end to our trip through Jiangsu and Zhejiang. Every word comes from the heart; I wholeheartedly recommend Longjing Mood near West Lake – you won't regret it!"

"The hotel facilities are brand new, and the bath towels and towels are of good quality. You can gaze at the tea mountains from the window, and the air is fresh. Taxis can easily find the location. Although the front desk staff was a petite girl, she proactively helped with our luggage. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and the room offered Longjing tea and Hupao water. Overall, this stay gave me a whole new appreciation for guesthouses – it's so much better than the ones in my hometown."

"This guesthouse, located in Yangmeiling Village, offers lovely views of the tea plantations and the tranquil village. The village itself is small, surrounded by mountains, with fresh air that makes for a very pleasant walk, especially after rain. The property is made up of two attached three-story townhouses. The ground floor has been opened up to create a café and restaurant. Enjoying breakfast while looking out at the mountains is incredibly relaxing. Actually, the best views are from the restaurant, which directly faces the tea mountains, with the courtyard fence nicely obscuring other village houses. While the upstairs room balconies also face the tea mountains, they unfortunately overlook neighboring rooftops. The guest rooms are on the second and third floors. The two buildings are separate, requiring different staircases to access, ensuring privacy. Each floor has two rooms. We stayed on the third floor, where the two rooms are next to each other. 'Jielu' faces the tea mountains and has a scenic balcony, while 'Zhenyi' is backed by the tea mountains and has a narrow window looking out onto the back hillside. Essentially, we had the entire floor to ourselves, offering maximum privacy – perfect for families. The food at the guesthouse is absolutely delicious. When my child caught a cold and wanted plain congee and shredded potatoes, which weren't on the menu, the chef graciously whipped them up. The quality was definitely on par with a five-star hotel, with perfect seasoning – not overly rich like many local restaurants. We also returned late one evening, past dinner service, but the chef still prepared us a simple yet delicious homemade meal. Being able to enjoy a warm, comforting meal without having to take a child out in the rain to find food is something every parent can appreciate. The night before we left, I mentioned to the chef that I'd like to take some unsweetened steamed buns for my child to eat on the way. The guesthouse didn't typically have them, and I was prepared to buy some elsewhere, but the next day, the chef specially bought five large white buns, packed them in a lunchbox, and gave them to us – free of charge! It truly felt like we were treated like family. The guesthouse staff were also incredibly helpful and responsive to all our requests. When we left, they even gave the children snack bags and small gifts. Experiencing such thoughtful service when traveling is truly heartwarming and a huge plus! Finally, a few things to note: The guesthouse is located halfway up a hill, on a steep, narrow road, so self-driving requires good maneuvering skills. Fortunately, there's a small open-air parking lot just five steps away where you can wait for people or turn around. After parking, there are still dozens of steps to climb. While the guesthouse staff will help with luggage, it could be challenging for elderly guests with mobility issues. The guesthouse also doesn't have an elevator, so climbing stairs might be difficult for seniors, and luggage will need to be carried by staff. The two rooms on the third floor are practically next to each other, so if you're not a family staying together, the proximity might feel a bit too close. The bathrooms in the rooms are open-plan, so at night, after the children were asleep, we were worried about the noise from using the toilet and shower disturbing others."

"They provided Tiger Spring water, tea, and homemade scones. The front desk staff was incredibly warm and attentive. The room was clean and tidy with a great view. The small bed in the family room was spacious and comfortable enough for an adult to sleep on. Guests also get an 88% discount at the Domo coffee shop across the street. The guesthouse itself is very photogenic, making for natural and beautiful photos. Highly recommend staying here."

"The B&B's location is fantastic, with views of tea plantations right outside the window. It's within walking distance to the Nine Creeks and Misty Forest scenic area, making it perfect for a weekend family getaway. The room was very clean and the facilities were new, making for a very comfortable stay. The service was excellent too; they were very friendly to children, and the breakfast and coffee were delicious."

"There are many B&Bs in Manjuelong, and we picked this one blindly. The service was incredibly thoughtful; when I arrived on a rainy day, a staff member from the front desk came out with an umbrella to meet me. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was freshly made, with a home-cooked taste, and the mung bean porridge was especially delicious and fragrant. They even stored my luggage for free when I went out to explore. Manjuelong is beautiful at night, definitely worth a stroll. I highly recommend this B&B!"

"Heartbroken, I came to Hangzhou alone to clear my head. While choosing a hotel, I saw many online recommendations for Yue Shang Yun She B&B, so I booked their single room. I never expected it to be such a delightful surprise during my trip! Right after booking, a housekeeper added me on WeChat, asking about my arrival time and transportation. When they heard I was traveling alone, they thoughtfully sent me a local travel guide. I arrived quite early, and as soon as I got out of the car, a friendly young lady came out to greet me and help with my luggage. The lobby was spotless, with many books on the shelves and fresh flowers everywhere, giving a wonderful first impression. The air conditioning was already on in my room, making it a very comfortable temperature upon entry. Although the single room wasn't large, it had everything I needed. Surroundings: Yuanguwan is just a three or four-minute walk from the guesthouse, and further in is Turtle Pool. There's a set of steps facing the lake there, and when I went, I happened upon two guys playing folk songs on their guitars. I was involuntarily drawn in, and throughout their performance, more and more people quietly sat down and joined in, humming softly. In that moment, I thought: 'What else could possibly not be let go of?' Later in the evening, I cycled to Huagang Park (Viewing Fish at Flower Pond). Watching the sun slowly set, casting a golden glow on the water, people strolled leisurely, some taking photos in twos and threes, others lost in thought. West Lake truly is a very healing place. After exploring outside at night, I returned to the B&B, where they offered a complimentary late-night sweet soup. During this time, one of the young ladies working there shared many fun places and interesting stories about the area. My day felt full and satisfying, and I happily went back to my room to sleep. The room was very quiet, and I slept soundly until 10:30 AM, waking up to the sound of birds outside – it was lovely. Breakfast was a delicious and abundant home-cooked meal prepared by an auntie. Thumbs up! Traveling alone, being taken care of with such meticulous attention was truly heartwarming. I will recommend this place to my friends and will definitely come back to stay again!"
