I highly recommend this hotel for family trips to Hangzhou with kids!
The location is a huge plus – it's super close to West Lake, just a leisurely stroll away. No need for long commutes, which makes traveling with children incredibly convenient. Public transportation nearby is excellent, with metro and bus stops very close, so you don't need a taxi to get anywhere. Getting around is completely hassle-free.
The hotel is situated right in the Southern Song Imperial Street scenic area. Stepping out, you're immediately immersed in the charm of an ancient street, perfect for a relaxed walk with the little ones. Right next door is Damalong, offering a wide array of local specialty snacks, so you can enjoy both sightseeing and delicious food. We even tried West Lake Fish in Vinegar Gravy, and both my child and I found it quite palatable, not as exaggeratedly unappealing as some online reviews suggest [😂][😂][😂].
The hotel is clean and tidy, and the room is cozy and comfortable, making for a very reassuring stay. The biggest surprise was the hotel's smart robot, which can deliver items and food. My child was super fascinated, chasing it around and absolutely loving it, adding a lot of fun to our trip.
The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was quick. The breakfast selection was also rich, with mild porridges, pastries, and fruits suitable for children. Overall, our family trip experience was perfect: convenient transportation, close proximity to West Lake, hassle-free outings with the kids, and interactive robots. We'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next family trip to Hangzhou!

The service was excellent the day before yesterday, I was very satisfied. There are many shared bikes in front of the hotel, and you can ride them to West Lake, which isn't far even on foot, about a 10-minute walk. Wushan Subway Station on Line 7 is just a 5-minute walk away. Hefang Street is also nearby, which is very convenient. The hotel even provides free umbrellas on rainy days. Taxis are also very easy to catch. Subway Line 7 goes directly to Xiaoshan International Airport, and a taxi ride only takes about 30 minutes. The hotel is also not far from attractions like Longjing Village, West Lake, Wushan Scenic Area, and so on. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This is a great hotel, and I was very satisfied with my stay. It offers good value for money, and the room decor has a high-quality feel. It's not far from the West Lake core area. It's about a 600-700 meter walk from the subway station, but the facilities really live up to expectations in terms of quality. The hotel's elevator might be a bit older, but the interior is fine. The service was also quite good, giving off the vibe of a well-established four-star hotel.

Facilities: Very complete, with plenty of hot water and excellent air conditioning. Even the hairdryer is a well-known brand, which is great.
Hygiene: Very clean. The bedding, toothbrushes, and slippers are all of good quality, making for a very comfortable stay, especially the bed, which is incredibly comfortable.
Service: The service is very personalized and patient. Because we are older and often get confused about things when traveling, we frequently bothered the front desk for help. However, the staff were always very enthusiastic and patiently answered all our questions, which we really appreciate and give a thumbs up for.
Environment: The hotel environment is excellent. The lobby is spacious and there's a small courtyard with bamboo and some plants, creating a very artistic ambiance. It's rare to find such a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling Hefang Street. Walking along Hefang Street, it takes about ten minutes to reach West Lake, which is quite convenient. Taking a taxi or bus to Gulou Gate takes only three or four minutes by foot. The location is truly superb. Although the hotel doesn't have an elevator, staff members help with luggage, which is another thoughtful touch.

I highly recommend this Home Inn Select hotel. You'll be right in the heart of the action near Hefang Street, experiencing old Hangzhou's charm firsthand. With bluestone slabs and red lanterns, stepping out for a stroll is incredibly pleasant – it’s a tranquil spot amidst the hustle and bustle. The room was clean, and the staff were very helpful. There are also plenty of great food options nearby, including several Michelin-starred restaurants. It's a perfect place for tourists to stay!

Really good hotel. Located in Mall building, occupied only some floors. Localisation is really great, very close to the Western Lake. Next to a lot of shops and restaurants, they are even in the same building (for example Haidilao on the same floor). Rooms - I have a bigger one with the city view, so it was very comfortable. There is a laundry room, mini gym and big patio with nice view (so no need to go downstairs to smoke). Breakfest - acceptable. The only one bad thing is terrible coffee on the breakfest.

The hotel is located only 3 bus stop away from Xihu (西湖）West lake，very good location not far from shopping street as well.
Cozy lobby with very friendly receptionist who even guide us to set up Alipay and how use Alipay to pay for the bus fare to West lake. Our room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The overall stay is a happy and welcoming. We will definitely recommend our family and friends to book this hotel if they are travelling to Hangzhou.

This is one of the better hotels in the area; most others are in apartment buildings. When I checked in, the room had a slight smoke smell, but the front desk immediately helped me change rooms when I reported it. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise at night. You can scan a QR code on the TV to order items, so you don't need to call the front desk for amenities, and there's a wide variety of things you can get. It's very close to West Lake and a short walk or subway ride to In77. A really great hotel!

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The front desk staff, especially the young man, was incredibly warm and attentive throughout my three-day stay. The room was clean, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained. They even offered hot water at the front desk, and there was a fridge and microwave available. The location was also fantastic, just a 10-minute walk to West Lake.

The staff were really polite and accommodating. They made our trip really pleasant, amazing and went the extra mile with a smile to help my parents. We really enjoyed our trip in Hangzhou and would definitely choose this hotel again for our next stay :)) it's very reasonably price and near all the main attractions :) very convenient 🥰

GGuest UserThe hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was fantastic and very satisfying. Our room was cozy and comfortable. My only minor suggestion would be to upgrade the pillow selection, perhaps adding memory foam pillows. The hotel isn't super close to attractions, but taxis are readily available right outside the entrance, making it very convenient. Plus, there's a huge variety of takeout options from the surrounding in77 mall – you'll be spoiled for choice!

GGuest UserPros: Jojo, our butler, provided excellent service, and the travel photography was great – the photographer was very dedicated.
Cons:
1. Breakfast options were limited, and items were frequently missing. The coffee machine was terrible, producing a watery, tasteless drink.
2. The paid activities, especially the boat tour and farm visit, were very poor quality. An older staff member had a bad attitude and kept rushing us, saying other guests were waiting. Including the walk to the vegetable garden, we only spent about 15 minutes picking. For the boat tour, we had to insist just to get a short drift on the lake; initially, they claimed it was too windy to paddle. It was a really frustrating experience.
Overall, apart from the butler, the service from other staff members was very mediocre. I've also seen complaints on social media about their lacking 'soft services.' I'd suggest they learn from Naked Group; I've visited Naked Castle and Naked Retreats several times, and their complimentary services are consistently high-quality, with exceptionally enthusiastic staff.

Plus, there's parking available. The room was a bit small, especially for a special offer room with a 1.5-meter bed, but it was very clean, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was pretty good too.

CCeciliaOverall, it was good and felt like a home away from home. There are no twin-bed rooms with full lake views, so we had to book a partial lake view room. The air conditioning in the room seemed a bit weak; even in May, we had to set it to maximum fan speed and the lowest temperature to feel comfortable. I wonder how it will cope in the peak summer. The breakfast restaurant's food quality and service need some improvement. The waitstaff looked unhappy, as if they were dreading their shift. Although the restaurant opens at 7 AM, steamed dim sum wasn't brought out until 7:20 AM. Guests who had to catch early trains couldn't enjoy hot buns and coarse grains. The coffee machine was broken, and the mini wontons were overcooked. I hope breakfast can be more diverse and less formulaic, so guests staying two nights or more can try different dishes each day.

GGuest UserIt was 32 degrees Celsius, and as soon as I entered the room, the AC was blasting, and a faint, pleasant scent instantly made me feel at ease. The room size was perfect for one person. The balcony offered an unobstructed view of Qiandao Lake, which was fantastic. The room also had a screen door and a sofa. If it was too hot on the balcony, I could just sit on the sofa and enjoy the lake view – very thoughtful design! The body lotion smelled lovely. The only minor issue was that the duvet felt a bit damp, but that's common for rooms by the lake in this kind of weather. Still, it was clean; my skin is very sensitive, and unclean bedding usually makes me itchy, but I had no issues here. Breakfast was extensive, and eating while looking at the lake was wonderful. I'd definitely come back given the chance! The service was also excellent.

I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful.
It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station.
I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

During the off-season, the price is quite affordable, and you can even see West Lake from the rooms, making it excellent value for money. Transportation is convenient, the front desk staff are welcoming, and breakfast is decent. I'll definitely choose Xinqiao Hotel again next time I'm in Hangzhou. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserOur stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact!
However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby!
Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet.
The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement.
Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!
In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay.
Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. GGuest UserI originally planned to stay for just one night as I was passing through, but they upgraded me to a high-floor room with a distant view of the Baochu Pagoda. The environment was fantastic, and the large balcony offered stunning views of West Lake. I found the transportation convenient and the service and atmosphere excellent, so I decided to stay an extra night. I'll definitely be back.
