The room is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the location is very convenient. I particularly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious, with options like milk and steamed buns. It's only a 5-6 minute walk across the crosswalk to the subway station, which I really liked. The room facilities at this hotel are quite smart, featuring a smart toilet and a smart 'Xiao Du' (AI assistant).

Guest UserHighly recommend staying at the Qiuguo Daxin store! My stay was fantastic. The room was meticulously clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the smart home features were very convenient. The hotel offers a self-service laundry room and a gym, which is incredibly practical for business travelers. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Nanshan! It's not far from Shenzhen University and Nantou Ancient City, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The bathroom was disinfected, showing thoughtful attention to detail, and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Excellent value for money!

I was unexpectedly stranded at Shenzhen North (Shenzhenbei) during the busy holiday season and urgently needed a place to stay. After comparing several listings on Trip.com, this hostel stood out based on its reviews, and it fully lived up to my expectations.
The photos are accurate and reflect the property exactly as it is. The host prepared the bed sheets and pillowcases right in front of me, which immediately reassured me about the cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodation because I value my health, and I felt completely comfortable staying here. I saw no pests or anything unhygienic, so if you’re concerned about that, you can rest easy.
The host speaks basic English and was very welcoming. Since I had just traveled from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen North, he even kindly offered to show me around the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, I enjoyed Lanzhou noodles and stinky tofu just steps from the building.
For clarification, the hostel is located inside an apartment building and operates in a dorm-style setup. Shoes are removed at the entrance, and guest slippers are provided. There is a comfortable common area with a sofa and dining table, free drinking water, and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and disposable towel, which was especially helpful since I had forgotten to pack one. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a Western-style sit-down toilet.
Each bed has its own privacy curtain and personal light, which I appreciated. There are also power outlets conveniently located at each bed. Wi-Fi worked smoothly without any issues, and free laundry is available, which is a great bonus for travelers.
There are designated quiet hours, so you can sleep comfortably. During my stay, it was peaceful and no one snored. The host even asked whether I snore, which shows he is considerate of all guests.
The other guests were polite and respectful. I was the only foreigner staying there, and the rest were Chinese travelers who were likely in the same situation, unable to secure train tickets that night. The property is non-smoking, which I also appreciated.
The only minor downside is for taller guests. I am 183 cm (6 ft), and I had to curl up slightly since the bed length appears to be around 180 cm. It was manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re tall.
The location is very convenient. It’s next to the train station, and you can easily take the subway if you have luggage. It only cost me 2 RMB to ride, so there’s really no need to take a taxi. In the morning, I bought pork steamed buns and soy milk from a nearby vendor, he was friendly, and the food was great.
For $4, this was outstanding value. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay near Shenzhen North, this is an excellent option. Hopefully this review helps anyone considering staying in the area.

Guest UserA truly satisfying stay! The JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen is indeed a top-tier hotel. The lobby exudes a light luxury and grand atmosphere, and the public areas are spotlessly clean. The staff at check-in were very professional and explained everything meticulously. The room layout was well-designed, the furnishings were exquisite, and the cleanliness was meticulously maintained—even the corners were sparkling clean. The mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a sound sleep until morning. During my leisure time, strolling around the hotel was very pleasant, offering a tranquil and comfortable environment. The guest relations team proactively checked on our experience, and any issues were addressed promptly. The hotel restaurants offered a wide variety of dishes with fresh ingredients. Overall, the experience was comfortable and relaxing, making it perfectly suitable for both short stays and longer trips. I genuinely recommend it to anyone traveling.

Anonymous UserService: Special thanks to Bella and her team! The Ritz's service attitude was satisfying, but due to objective renovation issues, construction noise could be heard on every floor (starting at 8:30 AM, even on weekends). Bella was very considerate in trying to resolve the issue, and I'm very grateful. I believe this also perfectly embodies the Ritz's 'Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen' philosophy.
Facilities: The current Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen is definitely not in its best state. Even in the newly renovated rooms (renovation completed six months ago), there was still a faint smell of renovation. Running an air purifier made it tolerable. The new rooms are indeed spacious and well-maintained, with very new facilities.
Pool: It's very small and the water is extremely shallow. Many people just walk across the pool, and there's no staff to stop them. The 'fire cloud' evening view is beautiful, but I wouldn't recommend it for serious swimmers. If you're just looking for a photo op, it's fine.
Cigar Bar: The staff were very patient, but the quality of the cigars varied, and the cocktails were just average.
Overall, as a first-time guest at the Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen, I found their service to be the best among hotels in the Futian district. However, objectively speaking, the renovation definitely detracted a few points from their 100-point service. I look forward to a better experience on my next stay at the Ritz! 🥂

Andy qiMandarin Oriental Shenzhen truly lives up to its reputation as a service supreme hotel. Not only is it the highest Mandarin Oriental in Shenzhen, but the service throughout my stay was impeccable. I was thrilled to find out on this business trip that I was staying at the same hotel as my idol, Mr. Andy Lau! Enjoying breakfast on the soaring 78th floor felt like being in a fairyland. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, and the turndown service was as thoughtful as ever. Room service was very responsive. The welcome fruit was fresh and seasonal, and knowing my child enjoyed it, they sent another portion early the next morning. The family-friendly setup was warm and appropriate, and the kids' activities were a lot of fun. Finally, the checkout staff were very polite, escorted me all the way downstairs, and had a record of all my previous requests. I'm sorry I didn't catch their name, but I want to give them a big thumbs up here! It truly is my favorite hotel. While there are many luxury hotels, I particularly adore this one with its oriental charm. Mandarin Oriental will always be my first choice from now on! My only regret this time was that due to limited availability, I couldn't get an upgrade, and also, the welcome music was no longer ”Kangding Love Song.”

Guest UserStayed at the Crowne Plaza Futian for a good stay. Before arriving, I communicated with Joy online about the check-in process. She managed to get us a room upgrade during check-in, which was a pleasant surprise. The upgraded room was more spacious than the standard room; we could easily spread out our two suitcases and personal belongings without feeling cramped. The room was also very clean, with no visible dust or stains. The hotel is located in Futian, surrounded by many good restaurants, making it convenient for walks and shopping after dinner. Access to the metro is also close by. The room was quiet once the windows were closed, allowing for a restful sleep after a day out. The water pressure in the bathroom was stable, and all the in-room amenities worked perfectly. Overall, it was a very good stay.

Anonymous UserOn this business trip to Shenzhen, I chose the Lanshan Hotel near the Convention and Exhibition Center. The location is excellent, just a two or three-minute walk from the subway exit, and I could easily walk to the exhibition at the Convention Center.

Having stayed in many hotels, I often find a disconnect in Shenzhen, but this one truly delivers on value for money.
The lobby on the first floor is grand, and the overall architectural style is excellent. The room's decor and quality are great, and having a washing machine is very convenient for business travelers. There are also many dining options nearby, including numerous Japanese restaurants and yakitori spots, and it's a popular area for international visitors.
The breakfast is very generous.
My only suggestion is that the hotel's location is inaccurate on Didi (ride-sharing app). I recommend coordinating to adjust it to the lobby entrance, otherwise, pickups and drop-offs are inconvenient.

Kata Lilla TothVery dirty place. The common area for the ladies was full of trash, tables dirty and the bathroom dirty. The beds were hard, matresses very thin and for a tall person above 1.72m it is not advisable. They also have shelves at the head of the beds so if you are talles you will slam your head in those. The balcony was full of dirt and people's clothes. It was very hard to find and the front gate was locked and had to spend good amount of time with the security guards until they understood that I have a reservation. Basically these are big apartment buildings so some rooms will be in complex B, others complex C. The receptionist were kind but very disorganized. People in the common area were super unfriendly and actually rude. All in all, I don't recommend this place.
