The Hyatt Regency Lanzhou boasts an excellent location right by the Yellow River. Stepping out of the hotel, you can walk along the riverside promenade to Zhongshan Bridge, and just across the bridge is Baita Mountain Park. The hotel's service meets a high five-star standard; the concierge, front desk, executive lounge, room service, and restaurant staff all exhibit excellent professionalism. They are proactive, enthusiastic, and always ready to assist guests with any needs. The hotel's facilities are top-notch, with spacious and impeccably clean rooms. The furniture is stylish and elegant, the bedding is comfortable, and the room soundproofing is excellent. The bathroom offers good water pressure and temperature. High-floor suites provide a clear 180-degree panoramic view of the Yellow River, which is truly spectacular. A self-service laundry room is available as an added amenity. The hotel's breakfast is extensive, featuring local specialties, freshly made beef noodles, and a wide array of both Chinese and Western options, all of which taste great. My stay was excellent, so much so that I extended it.

For this trip to the Northwest, we stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at both the beginning and end. We stayed in two different rooms for a total of three nights, and it was very comfortable. Returning the car was also convenient. The hotel even upgraded our room type and provided free breakfast for our child. The hotel's beef noodles were delicious, and the freshly squeezed juice was very refreshing.

Checked into your hotel yesterday, and I must say the service was excellent. The location is super convenient, right next to a RT-Mart, and there's even a Luckin Coffee in the lobby on the first floor, which is a nice touch. The room was comfortable and clean, and I loved the large floor-to-ceiling windows. Overall, a very pleasant stay! [smiley face emoji] And a big shoutout to the customer service for their outstanding and thoughtful service.

Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations, from the amenities to the incredible hospitality. Outstanding Service The highlight of my stay was the exceptional help from the front desk, specifically Mr. 芦彦林. Since I don't speak much Chinese, I was worried about the logistics of my trip to the Bingling Temple Grottoes. Mr. 芦彦林 went above and beyond by making several phone calls to my driver to ensure every detail was coordinated. He was incredibly thorough, asking the driver many detailed questions to make sure my trip would be smooth and safe. His kindness and dedication truly made my visit stress-free. Great Amenities and Breakfast The buffet breakfast was excellent. There was a wide variety of high-quality options to choose from, providing a perfect start to a long day of sightseeing. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Prime Location You couldn't ask for a better location in Lanzhou. The hotel is situated right by the Zhangye Road Pedestrian Street and within walking distance of many major attractions, including Zhongshan Bridge. Accessibility: It is very close to the subway and numerous bus lines, making it incredibly easy to navigate the city. Convenience: Plenty of shopping and local dining options are right at your doorstep. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lanzhou, especially international travelers. The service provided by Mr. 芦彦林 and the rest of the staff is world-class!

I stumbled upon this hotel by chance, and my actual stay was much better than expected. The room had good natural light and ventilation, without any stuffiness. The cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, was impeccable and dry. The service from LIAM was attentive without being overbearing, striking just the right balance. Staff were always responsive when needed and even enthusiastically recommended a nearby beef noodle shop, which was delicious. The location is convenient for short walks. All the facilities are well-maintained; the hot water and internet were excellent. Overall, there were no noticeable shortcomings, making for a comfortable and reliable stay. Definitely worth booking.

I stayed in this hostel for a total of 5 nights, with two breaks when I went on tours outside of Lanzhou. I have put in reviews earlier, so this is my final for the hostel that had begun to feel like Home. The hostel itself is very comfortable a stay: clean, comfortable wide bed with sliding door for privacy, nice seating areas... It is run by a family who take turns staying over so that there is 24 hour reception. All are friendly and kind, especially the father. The parents don't speak English but you can easily use a translation app; other guests will probably interact with you. The location: it is situated about a 5 minute walk to the Yellow River Tower, and a further 10 minute walk to the Lanzhou Old Street area where there is an amazing array of food options. Just outside the hostel is a Halal (Muslim-run) restaurant called (Ruhua 如华）which the hostel owners say have been in operation for 20 or 30 years. The hand-pulled (手抓) mutton that I had there was fantastic, even though I am typically not a mutton eater --- the taste is a delicate and balanced mix of light spices (I could taste a hint of ginger, for example) and saltiness. And the 八宝茶 is also excellent. A 7 minute walk to the right after exiting the hostel (past the above -mentioned restaurant) to the main road where many buses ply, you will find another good mix of local food options, especially in the morning. The hostel is conveniently located near the Lanzhou West railway station. There is a bus 136 that runs just outside the hostel and gets you to the railway station in 20 minutes. Hope this helps someone deciding on where to stay in Lanzhou, since there doesn't seem such a good range of hostels. I stayed in a 4-person room. The room was minimalist and medium-small, with lockers – basic but comfortable. The common area is stylish and inviting, with plenty of seating, cozy corners, plants, kettles, and power outlets, though it’s on a high floor with a glass ceiling – warm when hot, cozy when cold, and the few fans aren’t always enough. The staff at the desk were friendly, laundry facilities available, though no snacks or cold drinks. The area is urban, among regular buildings, so not particularly attractive from the outside, but within walking distance to the museum and the metro station, with a large supermarket and several food options nearby. Overall, a decent place to stay in Lanzhou.

Close to the station, which is convenient for transfers. The room is small but sufficient for a stay, especially with kids and elderly.

The owner is very nice, the environment is clean and hygienic, and everything is complete. The toilet even comes with a toilet seat cover, which is very thoughtful and matches the picture perfectly.

It's the best place to know the location, but it's a bit difficult for foreigners. I was able to speak a little Chinese for about an hour. Especially because I didn't understand any of the words here. Still, I went to twists and turns. Thank you for checking in early. But the first impression was not very positive. I met a guest who smoked too naturally in the living room. Then the dormitory was too dark to even turn on the light. It's like night and day. But the bed is far away and all the facilities are comfortable. Even a small folding desk ~ admired the boss's sense. But the toilet sink was always full of cigarette ash and smelled of cigarettes. It was shared by men and women, but this part was difficult. The smell of cigarettes is painful for non-smokers. Eventually, it poured into the neck. It's a good place for smokers and people who are very familiar with Chinese. Because non-smokers and toilets are shared, it is not recommended for women.
