"Great service and clean rooms, pretty much the same room type throughout. The overall design is quite minimalist with large windows, though the weather in Germany was a bit chilly during my stay. Still, it was a good experience. I stayed here for several days, and it offers great value for money. Highly recommended! You can ask the staff for hot water. Also, check-in is after 3 PM."

"We had a great 3 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a great location, approx 10 minutes walk to the old town / river etc. There are also lots of options nearby for morning coffee, pastries, drinks etc. The room was excellent. The hotel is spotless, room was very comfortable, good air con, and a lovely touch with nespresso coffee machine in each room along with a small minibar that is included as part of your stay and re-stocked. A really nice touch - thank you. All in all cannot fault and would highly recommend."

"The staff is extremely friendly, competent, and helpful. The breakfast buffet leaves little to be desired. The rooms are clean and well-equipped. The hotel is located outside the city center, but it's easily accessible via tram line 1. The tram stop is a 3-minute walk away. Would gladly stay again!"

"My stay at Essential by Dorint Köln-Junkersdorf was quite good overall. Here's a brief summary for your reference: Room Environment: The room was spacious and bright with excellent natural light, and clean and tidy. The bed was a comfortable firmness, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, which was convenient. Dining Experience: The breakfast had a variety of choices, Western-style, including stir-fried vegetables and hot dishes! Service Attitude: The front desk staff were friendly and polite, and the check-in/check-out process was quick! Cons: We only checked in and checked in to park and unload our luggage, and the front desk said the parking lot downstairs was outsourced, and we were charged 7 euros for parking for over an hour!!!!! Later, we noticed that parking on the nearby street was free. Free water was only provided for check-in guests, but the amount was reduced~~~ It used to be a large bottle."

"Five minutes walk from the subway and train station, convenient transportation, there is a supermarket next to it, shopping is also very easy. Although the room does not have air conditioning, it provides blackout curtains, electric fans and can open the windows. It is not too hot. "Excellent hotel, just a 2-minute walk from the metro. You can reach Cologne Cathedral in about 20 minutes on foot. The staff at the hotel are very pleasant, and they even let me check in early. The breakfast was superb, the mattress was great, but I had some issues with the pillows. Also, there were some concerns regarding soundproofing, though it's possible I just had very noisy neighbors."

"Very close to the station. For late check-in, you need to contact the hotel in advance to get the access code and key. The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The hot water was okay, but it would be better if it were a bit hotter. It was really good value for money with the discount! Perfect for a layover."
