Hotel is near the port so it was perfect for our pre cruise trip stay. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly

The hotel is in a great location. Although it's in the Gothic Quarter, it's also near Eixample, so the area is relatively safe. The subway is only about a five-minute walk away. There was a minor hiccup at the hotel. After checking in and dropping off my luggage, I left. When I returned that evening, I discovered the air conditioning in my room wasn't working, with a persistent error message. The room wasn't airy to begin with, and the AC wasn't cooling, making it very stuffy and hot. I went down to the front desk, and the first time, they said they'd reset it, but it didn't work, and the error message persisted. The second time, they came back up to check the AC, but the error message persisted. The third time, I was a little disappointed, so the front desk moved us to a different room and checked the AC, which was fine. This resolved the issue. The hotel includes breakfast, which was quite good. While the selection wasn't particularly diverse, the food was delicious. Overall, aside from the AC issue, everything else was fine.

Hostal Levante is a very comfortable and well-located place to stay in the heart of Barcelona. One of its biggest advantages is its excellent location. The hotel is situated close to many of the city’s main attractions, which makes it very convenient for tourists. La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter, shops, restaurants, cafes, and public transport are all within easy walking distance. Because of this, getting around the city is simple and saves a lot of time. In terms of comfort, Hostal Levante offers a pleasant and relaxing stay. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, providing everything needed for a good rest after a long day of exploring the city. The beds are cozy, the rooms are quiet, and the overall atmosphere is calm, which helps guests feel relaxed and at home. The air conditioning works well, which is especially important during warmer days in Barcelona. The staff at Hostal Levante are friendly, polite, and helpful. They are always ready to assist with any questions, provide useful information about the city, and help make the stay more enjoyable. Their positive attitude adds a lot to the overall experience. Another great point is the cleanliness of the hotel. Common areas and rooms are kept very clean, which gives a sense of care and professionalism. The building itself has a charming, traditional feel while still offering modern comfort. Overall, Hostal Levante is an excellent choice for travelers who are looking for a comfortable, clean, and conveniently located place to stay in Barcelona. It offers great value for money, a central location, and a relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona, whether for a short city break or a longer stay.

Pros: Great location with lots of food and grocery options. Public transport is convenient, making it easy to reach BCN airport. The shared kitchen is well-equipped with a kettle, microwave, toaster, and fridge. Cons: Street-facing rooms can be noisy, but quieter rooms are available. Room facilities are basic—sink isn’t separated from the bedroom, no clothes rack in the bathroom, and no hotel-style lounge area. The first 3 pictures are kitchen, the last two are the window view

The room was quite spacious, but the bathroom facilities were a bit dated. The shower, which was converted from a bathtub, only had a half-glass screen, so water easily splashed everywhere. The hotel's breakfast was very good, with a rich variety of options and excellent service. There was also complimentary lemonade available in the hotel lobby. The location is fantastic, very close to Barcelona Cathedral and Palau de la Música Catalana. The Gothic Quarter's various alleys are also great for exploring, with an abundance of restaurants and coffee shops.

I have to commend the front desk staff for patiently helping me switch rooms. I forgot to ask for her name, but she was very patient and moved me to a mixed-gender room. Otherwise, I would have been incredibly embarrassed staying in a room with only women. I know working in the hotel industry isn't easy, and meeting guest demands can be tough. However, the service quality of some individual staff members definitely needs improvement.

The location is perfect. You can see the Tower of Jesus of Sagrada Familia from the window. Air conditioning and hot shower are sufficient.

The hotel is located in a residential area, about a ten-minute walk from the beach. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's a 10-15 minute bus ride or a 20-25 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe. There are also many great cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is large, new, and well-equipped, offering excellent value for money. My only minor complaint is that the room felt a bit stuffy.

The hotel lobby is incredibly beautiful. The staff were also very kind, and even though it had a city view and was right in front of the main street, I thought it would be noisy, but the soundproofing was excellent, so it was quiet. It was truly wonderful.

High standards & I received an excellent welcome. Housekeeping is outstanding. I was given an early check in without asking & that was greatly appreciated. Breakfast is VERY good & I highly recommend it. Location is in the Gothic Quarter & it is ideal for a first time visit to Barcelona. There is a cafe & barista on the ground level & pastries & fresh orange juice in the morning. My room was small but had all I needed for my stay & the mini fridge was nice to have The bed was really comfy & there were black out curtains so you can sleep in after a long plane trip. There are two lifts & if you have heavy luggage this is very convenient. Great stay!
