Amazing
GGuest UserThis is the best value for money among similar places. It's very clean and perfect for solo travelers. The facilities are comprehensive, and there's a large common area. The women's section requires a separate key card for entry, which feels very secure. Everyone staying here is quite considerate, so there's no disturbance. It's also a short walk to Shizuoka Station. I'll definitely come back next time!

EErshuajiangMy first time in Shizuoka Prefecture, and I spent the first night at the Nihondaira Hotel.
Walking into the lobby, there's a huge glass curtain wall directly ahead. If the weather is clear and visibility is good, you can see Mount Fuji in the distance. Even every room faces Mount Fuji. At the foot of the mountain are Shimizu City, home of Chibi Maruko-chan, and Miho no Matsubara.
When I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, it was overcast, and Shimizu City wasn't visible due to heavy fog and humidity. I was really hoping for clear skies the next morning. And my wish truly came true! At 5 AM, a thought flashed through my mind, I woke up, pulled open the curtains, and although the sun hadn't risen yet, a blush appeared in the southeast. Looking straight ahead, in the distant sky, a massive silhouette appeared – that was Mount Fuji.
Alright, I'm content. Hahahaha~
Staying at this hotel, you can completely, completely relax. You can lie in your room and zone out, or stroll on the huge lawn in front of the hotel, watching the shimmering lights of Shimizu City at night.
The booking price included dinner and breakfast. A bit pricey, but well worth it. Dinner was a French set menu (Menu in pic 7). For an additional 1600 yen, I upgraded to Japanese-produced Wagyu beef, which I highly recommend. It was grilled perfectly, locking in the pinkness, and the texture was tender and fresh both inside and out. For breakfast, I recommend choosing the Japanese set meal, as online reviews say the Western breakfast is terrible.

BBaron LamIncredible location, only 3-4min walk to Shimizu Station. There are convenience stores and eateries super nearby so you will always get what you need.
Room size is appropriate for a couple, although we could not open our luggages, it was sufficient enough for a few nights stay.
Staff were friendly and approachable, they try their best to communicate in either English or Chinese, but please approach them with a ”すみません/Sumimasen”.
Breakfast spread was average. We could have done without it, but it was a convenient option to have.
Overall, very good and will stay again.

MM37934****The room facilities are complete, and the hygiene is very good. The service attitude is excellent. It's a five-minute walk from the JR station, making it very convenient to get to Miho no Matsubara and Nihondaira. The port has the Chibi Maruko-chan Land museum and Shimizu Fish Market. There's also a ferry terminal at the port with boats to Toi, Izu. This is a transit hotel with great value for money.

NNgWTARoom was spacious and hotel had lots of little perks like happy hour drinks/food, free breakfast, TV with Chromecast feature. Enjoyed my stay. Spread at breakfast was good but if you went later some food would run out.
Staff were not the most friendly but not rude. Maybe they were just not so well versed in English. Location was about 10 min walk from the station. Not bad but not the nearest and can be challenging especially if it’s raining.

GGuest UserThe location is extremely convenient, with all essential amenities nearby. It's super close to the station. For any anime/manga fan, this place is a total delight, especially being just a six-minute walk from Surugaya! Absolutely loved it! I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Shizuoka.

MMaki DinhI stayed here for two nights, and the hotel has a very convenient location. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to Shizuoka Station, less than 20 minutes to Sunpujo Park, and around 10 minutes to the Shizuoka Prefectural Office. Convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and Ministop are also just a 5-minute walk away.
The hotel has useful facilities, including a coin laundry and an ice maker on the second floor. Breakfast is available, although I didn’t choose the breakfast option when booking.
Soundproofing is quite good. I slept well and didn’t hear noise from nearby rooms. Overall, the staff were helpful and professional. Considering the price, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would recommend this hotel. Photos from the window of my room.

Check-in was done in one part of the coffee shop.
We apologize when it is crowded as the general public also enjoys tea.
The rooms have air conditioning, but the beds do not, so it feels very hot and difficult to stay there.
There are no towels or toothbrushes.
You need to bring your own.
Earplugs were available at the washbasin.
There is only one shower and one toilet, so you have to be patient when others are using them.
I woke up in the middle of the night when someone came home and took a shower because of the noise.
You have to cross a big road from the station, so it is better to go out with plenty of time to spare.

島島魚The location is right after the interchange.
It's within 30 minutes from both Shimizu Port and Nihon-daira, so it's very accessible.
The Sawayaka Shizuoka Inter store, which I was looking for, was also a 3-minute walk away, so it was the best location for this trip.
I was also very grateful for the permanent sauna.
It was the Obon period, and there were foreign guests staying there, so it was almost full, but the sauna was almost never used and it was almost reserved for us.
It's a pretty authentic sauna with aromatic water, you can do loyly freely, and it's outdoors, so I think it's the best sauna if you choose the right season.
(I used it during the Obon period, so the cold bath was too warm and I couldn't fully relax.)
The staff were very kind, and there were always staff on hand who were very conscious about customer service.
I think the free drinks are a great way to differentiate the place.
The all-you-can-drink craft beer was great.
There was also all-you-can-drink lemon water and soft drinks, so I was able to enjoy a leisurely drink in the open space instead of having to drink in my room.
I think it's very good considering the cost performance.

GGuest UserHotel is in a good location, very close to 7/11 and station. Hotel is not new, but very clean. Stuff has a strange policy of giving them key before living, but it's nothing difficult.
I lived on the top floor so view was very good. Bed had 4 pillows and pajamas.
Nice and cheap place to stay.
