When I checked in, I inquired about a proof of stay, and they proactively provided it to me at check-out without me even asking again. The room was very clean, and the location is convenient. Getting to Universal Studios Japan requires no transfers. I was so busy having fun that I forgot to take any photos of the hotel itself! 😂"

"Opposite to a JR station and very close to a metro station, many shops, restaurants and supermarkets nearby, staff are helpful except that guests have to wait for them to come back to the reception at night. Good view. Make sure that you have breakfast on 20/F and not 2/F when you make bookings."

"This Hotel Vischio Osaka by JR West is in an absolutely fantastic location! It's just a few minutes' walk from Higobashi subway station, making it super convenient to get to Nakanoshima and the Science Museum. There are tons of restaurants nearby too, so finding a place to eat is a breeze. The hotel itself has a charming retro-luxury vibe, and the rooms are spotless. The in-room dryer is a lifesaver for travelers, and the large windows offer great views and plenty of natural light. Since it opened in 2020, all the facilities are modern and new. It's generally quiet and peaceful. I stayed in a twin room by myself, and there was plenty of space, and the bedding was really comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were kind and attentive. It offers great value for money, and the flexible free cancellation policy is a bonus. This is definitely my top choice when visiting Osaka's Nishi district. I'll be staying here again!"

"The location is fantastic; you can see the hotel right from Fukushima Station. There's a food street downstairs and a Hankyu supermarket (definitely worth a visit if you have time! Lots of great, affordable stuff). When we checked in, staff helped us use the self-service machine, and our luggage, which we'd sent ahead via Yamato Transport, was brought out to us at the same time. The front desk area also provides complimentary toiletries like toothbrushes and combs, as well as tea bags, for guests to pick up themselves. The room is small but has everything you need, though you can really only open one suitcase. 😂 Later, we needed to send our luggage to the airport. Luckily, we found a Chinese-speaking staff member, but we still had to fill out all the forms ourselves. I'm not sure why all the guides I read said the front desk would help with this. Since we can't write Japanese, it took us almost half an hour to fill out the three forms. There's also a really delicious yakitori place near the hotel! I highly recommend checking it out."

"Great location and the hotel is super new. They provide all the toiletries you could need – no need to bring your own toothbrush, slippers, towels, makeup remover, facial cleanser, or anything else! I had two large suitcases and managed to fit everything in. The washing machine is also fantastic, a 2-hour wash and dry cycle for just 500 yen. So convenient, next time I can just bring an empty suitcase! Every restaurant downstairs is delicious, you can just walk right in! Make sure to try the tsukemen at the intersection to the left when you leave the hotel – it's a must-try! There are also several convenience stores nearby."

"⚠️ Important: This hotel does NOT offer luggage storage! This was honestly one of the most unfriendly experiences I’ve had in Japan. ✅ The room is very clean and suitable for a solo traveler ✅ Quiet environment ❌ Staff are unfriendly I arrived quite late on my first day, and the hotel is located near Osaka train station. If you’re carrying luggage, be prepared for about a 20-minute walk, which is not easy at all. Upon arrival, I was told that my room was not in the main building, and I had to walk further to another building.The room itself was clean and quiet. It’s small, but acceptable for a solo traveler. Soundproofing is decent, However, the biggest issue is the complete lack of hospitality. They are extremely strict with rules in a way that feels cold and unaccommodating. For example, I arrived just 3 minutes late for breakfast (8.45am) and was denied entry without any flexibility. And the breakfast isn’t worth the price! (Highly recommend just go 7-11 get brekkie, instead of paying such food for ard JPY 2,200. Check-out is also very strict — you must leave before 11:00 AM. The process is done by machine, and it clearly states that you will be charged if you exceed the time. What I find completely unacceptable is that this hotel — not an Airbnb — does NOT allow luggage storage. They claimed the lobby space was full and refused multiple guests who wanted to store their luggage. This is simply not acceptable for a hotel. On top of that, the staff were consistently unfriendly. Both during check-in and check-out, the service felt cold and unwelcoming, which really ruined the overall experience. The stay itself could have been fine, but the staff attitude and lack of basic hospitality made me not want to return."

"The location is excellent, close to convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, and the subway station. The hotel itself is new, and the rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. On the second floor, there's a washing machine, microwave, and ice maker. Plus, each floor has a hot and cold water dispenser, so there's no need to buy bottled water."

"Located in Osaka's Chuo ward, it's a convenient ten-minute walk from Osaka Station. Nearby subway exits directly connect to shopping malls and train lines. The Kansai Airport Limousine Bus stop is also less than a five-minute walk away, making transportation incredibly convenient. The hotel breakfast is excellent and varied, and they offer drinks and light meals throughout the day. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance."

"This hotel is located in relatively quiet area of Osaka near Utsubo Park. It is a few blocks away from the subway station, Awaza. There is no problem going anywhere in Osaka. They greet you everytime I leave the hotel as well as coming back to the hotel. The room is clean and their service is good. There is no washer and dryer in this hotel, but coin laundry is a few blocks away, so no problem. I have to go somewhere for breakfast though."
