Amazing
JJiaoluodedunjueThe location is excellent, right opposite Kyoto Station, very close to the airport bus stop, and also near Aeon Mall. There's a 7-Eleven supermarket just down the street. Check-in is self-service on a machine, which can be switched to Chinese, and staff are on hand to assist. You pay for the accommodation on-site. The lobby offers self-service coffee, tea bags, toothbrushes, and more. There's also a microwave, with chopsticks, spoons, forks, etc., conveniently located next to it – very well-equipped. The family room size is good, and the facilities are complete. The only downside is that it gets very dry in the winter, and the humidifier isn't adjustable. Overall, it's still very good. Highly recommended!

JJinboluogogogoThe hotel's location and environment are decent. However, the service and in-room amenities don't quite match the price. For this price, there are better options in Kyoto.

GGuest UserThis hotel offers great value for money and is often fully booked. The location is incredibly convenient, the management and service are excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. They even offer free luggage storage. Besides the standard services, the front desk also provides high-quality facial care products for women, including face masks. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

LLeontevThis is a great hotel, my second time staying here. The rooms are very cozy and clean, and the staff is very helpful. Our flight was delayed, and they checked us in after check-in time. There's an onsen, and even though the water isn't mineral, it's still super after a long flight. Try the ice cream from the ice cream machine when you leave the onsen feeling hot. There's a cafe on the ground floor with breakfast: I recommend the Japanese-style one, but they also have a regular European option, and the coffee is good. There's a nice izakaya nearby with tempura, Tempura & Wine Kojima (天ぷらとワイン小島 京都店). There's also another cool cafe nearby, SAKESORA (京の).

GGuest UserFacilities: My only complaint is that the king-size bed in the king room is made of two single mattresses pushed together, and after sleeping on it for a while, a gap forms between them. Hygiene: The hygiene is excellent. Environment: The surrounding area is very quiet, and there are convenience stores not too far away. Service: The service attitude is great, and the hotel even offers free shuttle service to Kyoto Station.

GGuest UserFound some hair under the bed that wasn't vacuumed before checking in, didn't fully take all our rubbish. Decent place to stay at location wise but very small space for a family (especially in the ”king deluxe room”). Only had 2 towels too despite there being 4 of us.

DDr.p3pp3rI stayed here in a double room and overall had a pretty good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and both the air conditioning and heater worked very well. One thing that really stood out was the bathroom — the bathtub was much larger than what you usually get in Japan. I’m a tall person, and I could actually sit down and lie back comfortably, which is rare. Most hotel baths feel very small, but this one felt closer to around 1.4m in length, which made having a bath genuinely enjoyable. The bed was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job — the bed was made every day with fresh sheets. Wi-Fi was also very fast, which was a big plus. Amenities were decent, and you can pick up extra items if you need them. Check-in is a bit late at 3pm, which I didn’t love, but that’s balanced out by an 11am checkout. Having that extra time in the morning made it feel worth it overall. I did have a couple of negatives. The strangest one was finding an old sock behind the TV when I arrived. It was very obvious and not hidden, so I’m not sure how it was missed during cleaning. It was a bit gross, but I just left it. Another downside was the mini fridge — it’s more like a cooler than a real fridge. It keeps drinks from getting warm, but they don’t get properly cold. In summer, this really wouldn’t be good enough. Replacing it with a proper mini fridge would be a big upgrade. The other major issue was the lift. It is painfully slow, and there’s only one lift for the upper floors. On checkout day, I left my room about 10 minutes before checkout time, and I almost didn’t make it downstairs in time because of how slow it was. That part was honestly pretty ridiculous. Location-wise, this hotel is excellent. It’s very easy to get to from Kyoto Station — just head south and you’re there in about 4–5 minutes. It’s also very convenient when leaving Kyoto by train. A tip for using the subway: instead of going back to Kyoto Station, walk right from the hotel to Shijō Station. It’s on the same subway line, you’ll get on before Kyoto Station, and the train is empty — so you’re almost guaranteed a seat and can ride comfortably to your destinations. For food and shopping, there’s a shopping mall just across the road toward the station with a Don Quijote, McDonald’s, and other options. The hotel is also right next to a Coco Ichibanya curry house, which is fantastic and open late. Overall, despite a few odd issues, this was a solid stay with a great location, good comfort, and very easy access to transport. I’d happily consider staying here again.

GGuest UserLocation not the best and can find nearer to Kyoto station with same price. The location only good to go Nijojo castle, Toji Temple & Ginkako temple. Nothing much nearby, no night bars only a restaurant opposite it. The worst was no lift, for a female with 20 kg luggage, I have to carry it for 4 levels up and down all by myself. It’s understandable no space to install lift, but pls consider to install a luggage travel lift. Layout of the room is very good especially bath and toilet inside the room. Some may not like it cause ppl may back late night to bath and make noises. But I do like the single room layout with small dress up table before the capsule bed.

AAsh412222The location is very good, just a few minutes walk from the subway station, but there are not many food options near the hotel, only convenience stores, and the hotel does not have an elevator. Guests with large luggage need to pay attention, because they need to carry their luggage upstairs by themselves
