Hotels near Ryugu Shrine in Otaru

I love this room so much. The location is perfect, near the JR Station. The room is big enough for us to open two suitcases fully. One thing I very much like is the laundry pods, the smell is very fragrant！I wanna know about the brand of the laundry pods.

This was the best hotel of our trip. From check-in to check-out, we felt the warmth and saw the smiles of the staff throughout. The included dinner was delicious and exquisite. The set breakfast was also pretty good. The hotel offers a variety of entertainment activities and facilities, so you won't get bored at all, and the environment is beautiful. The only downside is that the soundproofing isn't great; you can hear doors opening and closing from upstairs and next door.

Best hotel of my trip. The service was impeccable and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything is so thoughtful. The food was excellent and the room is huge. The onsen was awesome and looks beautiful

The rooms were reasonably spacious and clean. However, the breakfast selection was quite limited. At checkout, I repeatedly mentioned that one of the rooms had an 11-year-old child. According to the rules, if they charge 100 JPY per person per day for the hot spring and 200 JPY for accommodation, then the child should be exempt from the hot spring fee for all three days of our stay. Unfortunately, the staff completely ignored my explanation.

Honestly the only praise to give to this hotel is the staff attitude and the location which is near the canal. The staffs were-Helpful and dedicated .  I can accept the hotel is old and not so spacious. But one thing I really can’t take it is the level of the bathroom. I can’t understand why the level is so high. We need to step a big leap to climb in order to get into the bathroom. Also to get into the bathtub to stand to shower was dangerous too. It was unbelievable deep. I almost fell.  This hotel is really not suitable for elderly people. And need to pay extra careful attention when you climb to the bathroom and to the bathtub. Sometimes I do not understand why can’t just list out that you would need to collect onsen tax. If I know I need to pay for that I would not want to choose this hotel. Because I do not go for the onsen.

Facilities: The hotel is quite old, and while the facilities are in good condition, they aren't exactly modern. Surprisingly, there's a vintage audio system that plays music with a great ambiance from a bygone era. The sound quality also has that classic feel, which I loved. It's definitely worth experiencing this unique charm that other hotels don't offer. Service: Standard hotel service, but they upgraded my room without me even asking, which was a nice touch! Transportation: Even though the hotel is on a mountaintop, they offer a shuttle service to the nearest JR station, which is a huge plus. The Otaru Aquarium is just a few steps away, and the dolphin show is fantastic, plus the penguins are adorable. Scenery: This hotel probably boasts the most unique coastal cliff views in Otaru. It's truly postcard-worthy, and the best part is being able to enjoy it while soaking in the hot spring during the day. The scenery is beautiful and enjoyable. At night, however, you can't see anything. Hygiene: Standard hotel cleanliness. Food: I only stayed overnight and didn't try the food.

Cozy Inn is superb, can easily be reached by bus or by car. Plenty of parking spaces. Room is big and clean. Close to Aeon and Daiso. Walkable to the canal if you are not driving. Check in uses machine and strictly only after 3pm, so do not come early. Overall, I highly recommend!

The room features four beds plus a sofa bed, along with a fully equipped kitchen that includes utensils, a microwave, an oven, and a hot plate. The bathroom is fitted with a washing machine and hot water facilities. This property is located in Otaru, and you'll need to pass through Sapporo each time you travel. If you have limited time, it may be more convenient to stay in Sapporo to save time. We chose this location for its beautiful views, excellent room amenities, and free parking. Overall, we had a great experience here, with a Lawson convenience store and a market nearby for easy access to supplies.

You will feel comfy and relaxed, like sitting and slaying at your home. We're 4 pax and stayed 1 night, but feel hommy and humble in everything here. Our room can fit 4-6 pax. Pls enjoy here if you love English country style!!

The place is great. Just that the cashier is very stern/inflexible. No washing machine.
