Hotels near Spa World in Osaka

"It was an easy walk from ShinImamiya station ( that has direct line to/ fro Kansai airport ) to the hotel, I was greeted with friendly hotel staffs. Check in was seamless and fuss free . Room was clean , reasonable size and it was comfy in term of bed size and lovely pillows , with very cute PJ , fitted with bath tub, plenty of food option , with a Mega Donki, Sugi pharmacy for late night shopping. Being in Shinsekai mean lot of food options, and nearby subway / JR lines made easy and seamless travel to many places. Love the place and will definitely stay there again :)"

"The room is small but can open two suitcases. The public bath and spa are excellent. Close to JR station and donki. But the staff and hotel policy are terrible and I could only rate it woth adverse comment. First, at checkin the staff did not tell us the spa world could be used even after checkout, so we had no idea we could still stay to play the spa world the next day until we learnt it from other residents in the hotel. If we have learnt it earlier at checkin we might adjust our travelling plan as we checkin late at night from landing. Second, upon checkout we asked for luggage storage service, which is very basic services of hotel, but the staff said if we were leaving and not staying for the spa, they would not keep our luggage. I am not meaning leaving Japan but I just go out from breakfast or some shopping. I have visited Japan multiple times and stayed in many hotels or residence, and this is the first one not offering luggage storage service. Please do not call this a hotel if you refuse to offer luggage storage service. Third, the hotel prohibited any slipper and every one had to walk back to rooms in bare feet after public bath, this sounds dirty while the staff was wearing slipper. Hotel could provide slippers and require resident to wear hotel slippers only. Bad experience and poor service."

"Used the room for 4 nights, the stuff was polite , they informed about changing towels every day but they will clean it up only once during our stay. Room condition is good, toilets and towels very clean. One minus of our room was that it was noisy because of highway. Overall perfect for price. Zoo is located right backside of the hotel. The zoo is definitely must visit place in Osaka!"

"Hotel is near the metro and JR station. There is a direct train to and from airport but it is about 15min walk with luggage. The room is small but comfortable and quite clean. The service staffs are able to speak English and are helpful. There is even a welcome pack and drink upon arrival. Hotel also has happy hour from 6 to 7.30pm and supper from 8pm to 10pm. Downside is the surrounding restaurants sell all the same type of fried food on sticks and little shopping. Therefore, limited food and shopping choices. It can be easily solved by travelling one or two stop to the next station which has lots of food and shopping."

"🚎 Commute: Just a 1-minute walk from Ebisucho Station Exit 3 to the hotel! Super convenient! Dotonbori is only two subway stops away, or about a 25-minute walk. Hygiene: I was personally very satisfied, although the air conditioning had a strange smell for the last two days, not sure why. Housekeeping: They bring fresh towels and bottled water every day! Thumbs up! Honestly, I don't use that many towels, haha. They also clean the room and make the bed on the second day of your stay. Bathroom: It's quite compact, but the shower pressure is excellent, making for a refreshing wash. Taller or larger guests might find it a bit inconvenient. 🤓 In summary: The best choice for solo travelers! If I come to Osaka again, I'd recommend staying at this hotel. It's also very quiet at night; I was worried it might be noisy, but it wasn't at all. The guests in the neighboring rooms were all very considerate. 😇 🥹🥹 A wonderful trip to Osaka!"

"We booked a room with four beds for three people, so everyone had their own bed which was very comfortable. The space was decent, and the bathroom was tiny but functional. You can get here directly from Kansai Airport without any transfers, and the staff speak Chinese and are very friendly."

"The hotel is conveniently located near a train station. The staff service is good, but the cleanliness is substandard. Free room cleaning is offered once for stays over 3 nights. I stayed for 4 nights, and on the third night I developed a rash on my neck, back, and legs, and scabies appeared on my fingers. Guests should consider this."

"I had a wonderful stay at **Hinode Osaka** overall, and I'd definitely recommend it, especially for couples. The amenities are easily **10/10**. The hotel offers so many complimentary perks, including free alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, ice cream, laundry facilities, and a hot spring (onsen). These little extras really made the stay feel great value for money. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Although I didn't interact with them much after check-in, the entire process was smooth and efficient. Since we mentioned that this was a birthday trip, they even prepared a small gift for us, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The location is another huge plus. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and **Tsutenkaku Tower** is only about a 5-minute walk away, making it very convenient for sightseeing and food hunting. The only downside, in my opinion, is that the hotel seems to accommodate many tour groups. We noticed buses of tourists arriving almost every day. During peak hours, the hot spring could get extremely crowded—we couldn't even get in at times. The complimentary late-night ramen was also very popular, and we often had to wait around 10–15 minutes just to find a couple of seats. Overall, I'd highly recommend Hinode Osaka for couples looking for a comfortable and well-located hotel with excellent amenities. For families, however, be prepared for the crowds, as the hotel can feel quite overwhelming when multiple tour groups are around."

"The hotel's location is excellent, with two subway stations and three convenience stores nearby. There's also a Matsuya (a popular fast-food chain, great for introverts!), and Tsutenkaku Tower is right next door. The hotel is very clean, and the front desk even offers Chinese-speaking staff, so there's no need to worry about language barriers."

"Pros: - No bedbugs - Showers are 24/7 and are located on the first floor - There is a water dispenser - There are rooms for smokers and luckily my room didn't smell of cigarettes. Cons: - Washer costs 200 yen, detergent costs 30 yen, and dryer costs 100 yen for 30 minutes. I can go to a nearby coin laundry that can offer the washer for 100 yen less and everything else the same. - Checkout time is TOO EARLY (9AM). There are places nearby that offer later checkout time (as late as 12PM) and at similar or cheaper price. - There is a kitchen stove but it's coin-operated (20 yen per coin) and I believe each coin lasts a certain amount of time (not sure how long). I also didn't see any cooking equipment (knife, cutting board, cooking pan, etc) so I'm not sure how we can cook. Maybe there are some but I just didn't see them."
