"This time, I chose this hotel for a show at Toyosu PIT. The hotel is conveniently located at Shijo-mae Station, offering excellent surroundings, transportation, and facilities. It's very close to the venue, just a few minutes' walk. Transportation is also convenient; it's only two stops to Toyosu LaLaport, which is perfect for shopping when the weather is hot. It's also near Toyosu Market, where you can enjoy Tsukiji seafood. Right next door, the Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai hot spring and gourmet complex offers free foot baths on the 8th floor, where you can admire the Odaiba night view while soaking. 👍👍 Plus, there's a Toy Story exhibition nearby, also within walking distance. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for a one or two-day trip to Odaiba. 😃"

"The Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel is an excellent, high-value choice for families visiting Odaiba and Disney. It's just a 3-minute walk to both the Rinkai Line and Yurikamome Line stations, and you can reach the Odaiba Gundam and Statue of Liberty area in just 10 minutes by train. The hotel also offers a free, reservation-only shuttle bus directly to Tokyo Disneyland, and airport limousines to/from Haneda and Narita airports make travel hassle-free. Rooms are clean and tidy, and the renovated rooms are bright and airy. High-floor ocean view rooms offer stunning views of Tokyo Bay. The hotel thoughtfully provides baby yukata, bed rails, and children's toiletries. Microwaves in the lobby and self-service laundry machines are convenient for guests with children. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes to suit all ages. There's also a convenience store and McDonald's on the first floor for easy replenishment. Front desk staff are friendly and offer luggage storage. The only downside is that the Japanese-style rooms are a bit small, making it cramped to open large suitcases, and there can be short queues during peak check-in times. Overall, the hotel offers convenient transportation and excellent family-friendly amenities, making it a perfect base for theme park visits and Odaiba sightseeing."

"I had a comfortable and safe stay all week! I'd definitely want to stay at this hotel again next time I'm in Tokyo for an extended period. It's also conveniently located near a subway station, making it easy to get to Ginza with just a short walk. It was a bit small for opening two large suitcases, but it was still great!"

"Great Stay with Excellent Amenities, Just a Bit Far Out I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience overall. The cleanliness was impeccable; the room was spotless and well-maintained throughout my stay. I was also highly impressed by the excellent facilities, which provided everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. Additionally, the staff offered outstanding service—they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive to every detail. The only downside is the location. It is a bit far from the main attractions, meaning you will need to factor in extra travel time to get around. However, if you don't mind the commute, the fantastic service and comfort make it well worth the stay!"

"Fantastic, definitely a four-star hotel. The lobby feels like a five-star, and the rooms are very new and spacious. The bathtub was super comfortable, I used it every night. The only downside is it's a bit far from the city center, but I would still choose to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo. The value for money exceeded my expectations!"

"Compared to other Mitsui Garden hotels, this one certainly provides more premium toiletries. However, it is expensive! Like other Mitsui Garden hotels, from 2026…. In the name of environmental sustainability, (1) they provide plastic/reusable slippers which don’t seem hygienic to me and I hated them, (2) bedsheets are changed only after 3 nights. Room cleaning was not very thorough, there was dust at the corners. I can’t find the exact photo now but I had deliberately left a small slip of packaging on the floor to monitor if it would be cleared away but it wasn’t! Their housekeeping team could definitely do better! Unlike other Mitsui Garden hotels I have used, it was not so easy to locate welcome drinks (I did not end up having any). The reception/front desk was also baffling because it tends to be empty or just manned by 1 staff until they notice more patrons around then more staff would appear from their backroom. I appreciate how suitcases I had forwarded to the hotel ahead of my arrival was in my room waiting for me. They also took note of my request for more pillows. Thank you. Other considerations - entire hotel is dimly lit. There are 2 sets of elevators. One to the lobby, and a separate on to go to the rooms. I timed the journey, it takes almost 1 full minute to get from lobby to B1. Even when I requested for a room near the elevators, I was given a room nested very deeply/far away and required a lot of walking. The carpet made it challenging to move suitcases. Location-wise, It’s not the most convenient if want to visit Shibuya/Harajuku but ok for Tsukiji and Ginza. Not so many eateries around and while there are convenient stores, there’s currently no full-fledged supermarkets around. Considering how expensive this place is… its limitations / inconveniences, I would reconsider staying there."

"The location is super convenient, right across from JR Shiomi station. However, you'll need to transfer to get to places like Shinjuku. It's really easy to get to Disneyland though. There's a big supermarket and convenience stores nearby, which is very handy for shopping! Plus, there's a Family Mart on the first floor of the hotel. They even provide bath salts you can mix yourself, and the toiletries are comprehensive. The best feature, hands down, is the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom – that's a rare find and truly excellent. The room itself isn't small either; we could easily fit three suitcases, so it felt quite spacious."

"Stayed here for an exhibition and it was incredibly convenient. The only downside is that the price was much higher than usual during the exhibition period. There's a direct train line to Shibuya and Shinjuku, which was great as I didn't have to transfer. The hotel's surroundings are quiet and close to a university, making for a comfortable stay. There's a supermarket about 800 meters away, perfect for grabbing food, and on the second floor of the supermarket, there's a drugstore that's quite affordable and never crowded, which I really liked. The hotel provides a very comprehensive set of amenities, including toiletries, facial masks, makeup remover, and skincare products, all of which were excellent."

"Right by Odaiba Station, making transportation, shopping, and dining very convenient. The room was spacious with a great view; you could see the monorail from the window, but there was virtually no noise. The main downside was the outdated bathroom, which lacked a separate shower and toilet. Also, some of the staff's service quality needs improvement. I saw an impressive advertisement for the buffet and wanted to try it. When I went to the restaurant, it was empty, so I went back to the lobby to ask a staff member. They simply told me the restaurant was on the first floor. Thinking I'd gone to the wrong place, I checked again. I asked another staff member, and got a similar vague answer, completely ignoring my question about why the restaurant wasn't open. Finally, I asked a female attendant by the elevator, and only then found out that the first-floor restaurant isn't open for dinner every night. It makes you wonder what the other staff members were doing..."

"Room was ok given the size was expected when we booked it. The hotel’s location is further away from the main hotspots. The area seems new and quiet, not bad. However, the service of the hotel personnel i felt could be better. They don’t seem friendly and perhaps they could have smile more. On my last night, the hotel staff accidentally assigned the same hotel room number to another guest and the guest was able to access my room. Luckily i was inside the room at that time. Also, during check out, there were many hotel guests seated at the lounge area as they were waiting for their transport and there were no seats available for others. I noticed they closed off the cafe area and i asked them if they can allow us to sit there while we wait for our transport which they said no. Hence we have to stand at wherever there’s space together with our luggages. Eventually they allowed us to sit at the cafe area while we wait for our transport as there were also others have to stand and wait. I think in this part, the hotel staff should have thought about it better and do better."

SshzhkazhI was very satisfied and stayed here again on my trip to Tokyo. The breakfast was delicious, the transportation was very convenient, the staff service was excellent, and I slept comfortably. Suidobashi Station is right outside, and Tokyo Dome is behind it, which is great for shopping. It's really convenient to go anywhere from here. I highly recommend staying here when you come to Tokyo.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful 4-night stay here during my trip to Japan. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. For the price, it offers excellent value. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, making it a great way to start each day. The room size is what you would typically expect in Japan—compact but well-designed and comfortable. It had everything we needed, and the hotel provided all the essential amenities. Fresh towels were replaced daily, along with two complimentary bottles of water. One thoughtful touch I really appreciated was the housekeeping service. Even when we put up the ”Do Not Disturb” sign, they fully respected our privacy and never entered the room. Instead, they hung fresh towels and bottled water on our door every day. The hotel also displayed the daily weather forecast at the reception, which was very helpful when planning our itinerary. On the day we checked out, it was raining. The receptionist patiently showed us how to get to the Skyliner through the underground station so we could avoid walking in the rain. Their kindness and excellent service truly left a lasting impression. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, service, and value for money. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Japan. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThough small, this hotel has everything you need. Its Ginza location is incredibly convenient, perfect for shopping or quickly getting to Narita Airport via the expressway. What truly impressed me is how many features are packed into such a compact space. They have a coin-operated laundry and a large public bath. The room, which I'd estimate at about 20 square meters, even managed to fit bunk beds (1.2m/1.5m), making it very family-friendly. A minor point is that since the hotel is directly above the subway, you occasionally feel vibrations as trains pass. This led to a funny moment when an actual earthquake hit at night, and I initially thought it was just another train going by!

GGuest User• located at the furthest exit from the Ikebukuro train station. have to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the Yamanote line. the surrounding is also filled with a lot of sus shops, with girls standing around at night holding papers and shouting at men. if you’re a female they won’t bother you but if you’re a guy stay safe.  • at night can hear some shouting from the street as well.  • good; have Refa hair dryer, hair wash etc. there’s also a laundry machine, microwave, etc. which was really nice. • space wise, I think that it is very spacious especially for a solo traveller with only one luggage but if you have two, there might not be enough space for you to open your luggage.

GGuest UserI always have a soft spot for hotels with hot springs, especially when they have an outdoor section. It's perfect for when you want a quick dip without feeling cooped up if you stay longer. The room size was pretty standard, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a separate hallway leading into the room, which is a nice touch compared to other business hotels. To be honest, the location is just okay. It's a bit of a walk from the station (about 7-8 minutes, mainly because you have to cross the street right outside the subway entrance), so it's not exactly right by the station. It is, however, right in front of an elevated road, but the windows do a decent job with soundproofing. The biggest drawback with this type of hotel is that there's only one elevator, which means you can end up waiting for quite a while.

GGuest Useremployees and amazing breakfast. They had many vegetables + yogurt + all kind of meats (I really liked the beef) - really worth it for 2100 yen per person. My only complaint is that breakfast ends quite early at 9:30. It is very close to 2 metro lines (green and orange) so you can easily reach any place in Tokyo. There is a non-stop 7/11 at the -1 floor (you can take the elevator and exit through the shop). It has a very easy to use and good exchange rate ATM. The gym is like the typical hotel gym. Very small and with few dumbbells.

AAnonymous UserComfortable one-night stay at Shinjuku Granbell Hotel — great location and clean, modern rooms. One useful tip for anyone driving: there’s parking available nearby that you can either reserve in advance for around ¥2,000 per night, or just drive in without a reservation and pay by the hour (rates around ¥1,700 for 8 hours at the lot near the hotel). Made it really convenient for our road trip stop before heading north. Would recommend for travelers exploring Shinjuku by car.

CCarey LoyCenturion Hotel Ueno was a complete disappointment, falling short of basic hospitality standards. The deception started right at check-in: the room was explicitly advertised and booked as a ”Casual Double Bed,” but what we actually received was a cramped single bed. This blatant misrepresentation immediately compromised the comfort of our stay. The lack of care extended into the bathroom, which was a major letdown. The sink and shower area were marred by very bad, visible marks that made the entire space feel neglected and unhygienic. For a hotel that positions itself in a convenient location like Ueno, the absolute disregard for accurate room descriptions and rigorous housekeeping is unacceptable.

GGuest UserI liked this place. A pretty standard classic capsule hotel: sizeable capsule with a console, daily turnover service, large shower and onsen room with an attached steam room. Service was good: they have an army of twinks working there after hours, it was like being checked in by BTS. All issues I had with my capsule (broken lightbulb) were addressed quickly and cheerfully. Sometimes it kinda seemed like they were laughing at a few of the foreign guests, but you know what, fair. This place is kinda rules heavy, with lots of notices posted around the property. There is no eating or drinking in the capsules, and instead you have to go to this common area that feels a bit like a hospice for abandoned uncles. Vending machines, manga library, smoking cubicles, that sorta thing. Clean and tidy though, equal numbers of dudes using it for remote working and day drinking (I have a feeling that some ppl live in this place). They have the usual elaborate system of lockers and keys, but they will store your luggage for you while you are out. No need to check out in the day. Overall a chill experience. While I was staying there though some dude did have a mini breakdown about what he saw as it's shortcomings, so I just wanted to comment on that. According to him the place was disgusting. He was especially perturbed by the housekeeping service and the showers. His claim was the the toilets were dirty and that it was unacceptable to fold bedsheets on the floor. Mind you, he was having this rant at 10:30 - checkout is at 10:00, meaning that a whole stampede of airport-bound weebs had just taken spicy ramen fuelled power dumps so they could get out of there on time. Most of the day the facilities were pretty spotless in my opinion. In regards to folding the bedsheets on the floor, I dunno what in the Disney princess he was expecting, but there really isn't anywhere else to do it. I think it's unreasonable to expect little doves to come fly your linens into your capsule tbh. The capsules are literally on... the floor! What do you want? His overall complaint that the space was generally messy was a lot more valid. At this point I had a suspicion that they kind of segregated foreigners from Japanese customers. It's true, that the foreign floor was a bit of a tip - luggage thrown around, empty bottles everywhere, garbage. I went up to the Japanese floors to snoop around a bit. Spotless. (Pictures of both included for comparison) In this case I think the call is coming from inside the capsule, not really fair to hold the staff accountable to your own messy manners. His final gripe was about the showers - specifically the lack of private cubicles. Private cubicles were not advertised anywhere and Japanese onsens are pretty standardly communal spaces, so again I dunno what he wanted. Maybe a shower, with a curtain? Maybe a shower with a door? Maybe a shower with a psychic forcefield that would make his ex girlfriends forget his underwhelming junk and prevent his father from behind disappointed in him? I'm not sure. But I guess the dozen shower stations with soap, shampoo, and face wash weren't cutting it. In fact a lot of the Western guests seemed pretty pranged out by the shower situation, waiting until like two am to wash up and then scurrying around the baths with a hand towel infront of their package like a little purse. If you regret going bald, that's on you. Kinda silly, but if you are bashful maybe this also isn't the hotel for you. Unreasonable though to blame the establishment for you own shame. Anyway, that's all to say the worst part of my stay was for sure the ranting and raving from an unshowered backpacker while I was trying to have a lie in. Otherwise a pretty decent stay.

I was also very pleased that they assigned me a good bed upon check-in. The only minor drawback was that the lockers weren't on the same floor, unlike at the Ningyocho branch, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything else was satisfactory.
