"The location is excellent, within walking distance of Osaka Station, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room is also very good, clean and hygienic. The bedding and pillows are comfortable, offering great value for money."

"I initially had a preconceived notion because the reviews were negative, perhaps due to it being a newly renovated accommodation. However, after actually booking and staying there, I want to leave a review stating that it was perfect! The friendly staff, impeccable quality of the accommodation, the amazing location, and the elevator that connects directly to the underground passageway were the most impressive. The location was so convenient that you could walk through the entire Umeda area via the underground passage. I was reluctant to go outside because the sunlight was too strong, so being able to go directly through the underground was very convenient. As expected from a newly renovated place, the quality of the accommodation was truly excellent—clean and spotless. It is an accommodation I definitely want to visit again in the future!"

"The hotel Kansai location is great ! Very close with Umeda-Osaka main station within 10 minutes walking distance using exit 2 or 14. We book 2 double rooms and stayed for 4 days, the room a bit small, bathroom is okay and overall experience is clean and satisfied. The breakfast is not much changes but good thing having a coin-oprated washing machine and dryer !"

"The hotel is located very near to umeda station which makes transitioning to Shinkansen and other lines very easily. However, the nearby stores may not be very family-oriented which some family-centric travellers may take this into consideration. Moreover, the hotel has 34 storey, 34th being the restaurant followed by the rooms, all the way to the 4th floor amenities. With 6 elevators to serve from 1st floor to 16 and 17 to 34. However, this create a nightmare when there is ”lift congestion”; during its peak period, queuing for a lift up to your hotel room can take up from 5-10mins. Aside from that, the hotel overall room conditions, and amenities are excellent. Lastly, the check-in kiosk system has alot of room for improvement. As international tourists tends to book the rooms via 3rd party service providers, the order of the names registered could be scrambled up which lead to the system not being able to detect your booking which causes frustration when checking in especially when the service crew repeated asks u to try keying in the names of your group, and hopefully finds the one that was registered. A manualy bypass by the staff should be allowed for this"

"This was my second stay here, and the room seemed to have been recently renovated. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. There's a microwave and self-service amenities on the first floor, and coin-operated washing machines on the second floor. It's very close to Umeda Osaka Station, and the soundproofing is good, so it's quiet at night. It's also very close to Hankyu Sanbangai, making bus travel convenient. USJ is only a 20-minute subway ride away, so the location is excellent. There are several convenience stores nearby, and the yakitori izakaya next door is delicious. I accidentally scorched the bathroom countertop while using a hair straightener, but the hotel didn't charge me for the damage. All in all, just be careful when using heat tools like straighteners."

"Staying at Hotel Granvia Osaka was such a pleasant experience! The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of Osaka, with shopping, restaurants and eateries all around, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. What I loved most is how central it is for travelling beyond Osaka too. With Osaka Station right there, it’s so easy to head out to places like Kyoto, Kobe and Kurashiki without wasting time getting across the city. A special shout-out to Don at the hotel, whose service was truly top-notch. He spoke excellent English, was incredibly accommodating and made me feel very well taken care of. The hotel even upgraded my room for free, which was such a lovely surprise! And for Pokémon fans — this is a bonus I absolutely loved! 😍 The Pokémon Center is just on the 13th floor, so you can literally pop down whenever you feel like browsing or shopping. Overall, a fantastic base for an Osaka trip — excellent location, wonderful service, comfortable stay and plenty of shopping and dining right at your doorstep. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Choosing this hotel in Osaka was absolutely the right decision! 😍 The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite Osaka Station, making it super easy to access JR lines, subways, and even travel to Kyoto, Nara, or Kobe. Downstairs, you'll find Grand Front Osaka, LUCUA, Daimaru, and Hankyu Department Store, offering a plethora of shopping, dining, and cafes – you'll never run out of places to explore. "The location is fantastic, and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. It was really quiet at night, which was great for sleeping! Our room type was perfectly spacious for two adults and one child. Highly recommend it! Just be aware that it's a popular spot, so the washing machines can be quite in demand. Overall, highly recommended!!"
