"Located near the Temple of the Tooth. But then again, the entire area around Kandy Lake isn't that big. I stayed for one night, and the facilities and service were all quite good. It felt a bit like a domestic three-star hotel. The room was pretty spacious and even had air conditioning, which is a rare treat in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was decent too."

"Overall, the hotel is quite decent: the staff is always ready to help, and the restaurant and bar offer delicious food (a varied selection at the buffet). The interior is a bit dated, but it's not a dealbreaker (the bedding and towels are clean). For its price, it's an excellent option."

"This hotel is on the top of the mountain. The view is very good, the environment is OK, the building is very distinctive, including the decoration of the room, but the worst thing is that the hygiene is very worrying, the door is a bit old, the refrigerator is so dirty that you can't get it off, and there are stains under the toilet seat There were urine stains and hair on the bed. The bed was two beds pushed together and it was uncomfortable to sleep on. The quilt was a sheet and was too tight to pull out. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on. Fortunately, there was a blanket in the cabinet to cover it with. Regarding the food, it’s not good either."

"The views are unbeatable: The lobby and pool face the Mahaweli River directly. Sitting by the river in the evening with a drink, watching the sunset, was absolutely the highlight of my entire Kandy trip. The pool is a definite plus: That infinity-edge pool stretching out to the river is incredibly photogenic, and the water is very clean, making for a wonderfully comfortable swim. Great dining: Both the breakfast and dinner buffets offered a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties and Western options. The freshly made omelets and Sri Lankan curries prepared by the chef were delicious. I even tried a local Sri Lankan delicacy, a fried egg 🍳, which was quite tasty."

"The hotel is conveniently located and offers good value for the price. It appears to have been recently renovated. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional; they kindly assisted me with ticket booking and provided useful local information. Room cleanliness was better than average. The hotel also offers on-site laundry services at reasonable rates, which was very convenient. The only downside is that there is no elevator from the lobby to the first floor, so I had to carry my luggage up one floor before accessing the elevator to my room."
