PennygeStayed here the night before heading to Redang Island, it's conveniently located right in Chinatown and easy to find. The front desk had a Chinese-speaking staff member, so communication was a breeze. The room was well-equipped and quite spacious, and it was very quiet and comfortable for sleeping. Durian King is right downstairs, which is a plus.

Guest UserFacilities: The hotel entrance is grand, and there's a lobby boy to help with luggage. The public areas have two swimming pools: an irregularly shaped children's pool and a 25-meter, 1.2-meter-deep outdoor rectangular pool, which is open until 7 PM. Foreign guests are advised to wear tops for men and dress modestly for women to respect local customs.
Restaurant: The hotel's breakfast restaurant also offers dinner, which is good value for money, and the food is delicious.
Location: The hotel is about 1 km from the airport, a 20-minute walk. If you have luggage, the road isn't very smooth, so taking a car is recommended.
To Redang Island: It's suitable as a transit point for Redang Island. A taxi from here to TTI Jetty isn't expensive, the journey is smooth, and you'll arrive on time. It feels like the price from TTI Jetty to Chinatown is more expensive than to here, and Chinatown is more run-down, with poorer accommodation conditions than this hotel.
Hygiene: Good hygiene.
Environment: Good environment, spacious rooms.
Service: Staff are enthusiastic.

Guest UserThe hotel is near to the state mosque. I still have enough time to walk for Jamat prayer although after azan. Restaurants are also at walking distance. Location wise, the hotel is in the centre of Kuala Terengganu city, so it is easy to move around.

Guest UserFirst of all the location is very strategic. My view is pantai.sangat cantik.. i book 2 deluxe room, for my small family and parents. Bilik parents takde tuala ,even remote tv takde. I call reception >5 times, they do answered finally and send to towel. Lambat sikit but still okay.. but but but When i went into my room, the amenties cukup..when i tried to lay down on bed.. ada blood stained😭. I called again receptionist >10 times yer..tak angkat. So turun bawah complained within 30 min, tukar bedsheet. Sy tak boleh brain mcm mana boleh ada blood stained.parking itself takde ,ada basement and floor 1-2 shj utk park, memang park jelah merata. Other than that, mknn bnyk cuma tawar sikit haha,tp kenyang dan variety.love it, toilet bersih, aircond mantul,tv semua channel lancar.. sekian my review. Would i repeat again? Hmmmmm

Anonymous User“This was honestly one of the best staycation experiences I’ve ever had. Booking the VIP Chalet was absolutely worth it the room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with a luxurious vibe. The moment I walked in, I immediately felt relaxed because the atmosphere was so peaceful, private, and comfortable.
The bed was super comfy, the air-conditioning was perfect, and every facility provided felt premium. My favorite part was definitely the beautiful view and the romantic ambiance at night truly unforgettable.
The staff were also very friendly and helpful from check in until check out, which made the experience even better. This place is perfect for honeymoon trips, birthdays, anniversaries, or simply a relaxing escape from busy city life.
Honestly, the photos online don’t fully capture how amazing and beautiful this chalet is in real life. It genuinely felt like staying in a luxury paradise resort 😍 Definitely coming back again!” Recommend this resort👍🏻

Qm21Parking can be difficult to find if you check in during the daytime since it’s public parking. The room was comfortable overall, but there was an unpleasant septic tank smell coming from the fan. It got much better after we turned the fan off and used only the air conditioning.
The hotel is conveniently located near KTCC Mall, just a 5-minute walk away. There’s also a restaurant below the hotel, but unfortunately the food was quite pricey and didn’t really match the taste 🫠

Pros- The location is good and the environment of the outside resort is also good.also the beach view is stunning.as well as their breakfast also not bad.
Cons - their room situation is very very bad. Need to renovate. So old furniture and everything inside the room.feels like it will break now. Also smelly. The door even the bed everything is half broken already. Even it was rusting inside.
So I will say it’s not worth it with the price we paid for one night in this room.
Suggestion- your resort is big also attractive. Please do some renovations so you can attract more guests also can give them a better experience thank you.

DxnxxlI recently stayed at Permai Hotel Kuala Terengganu for 2D1N during Hari Raya and booked 2 Deluxe Rooms. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience, especially during the festive season.
The check-in process was smooth despite the busy Raya period. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the arrival experience easy and stress-free. Both rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, and the layout was practical, suitable for resting after a long day of visiting family and open houses.
One of the main advantages of this hotel is its location. It is conveniently located in Kuala Terengganu, making it easy to travel around for Raya visits and explore nearby areas. Parking was also manageable during our stay.
Although the hotel is not luxurious, it offers good value for money and meets expectations for a short stay. The overall environment was quiet and suitable for relaxation after a busy day.
In summary, Permai Hotel Kuala Terengganu is a solid choice if you are looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially during festive periods like Hari Raya. I would consider staying here again on my next visit.

The hotel has a good location, and the service was pleasant with friendly and helpful staff. Although the building looks quite old from the outside, the interior was actually comfortable and well-maintained. One issue we encountered was in the bathroom, there was no proper shower head, which should definitely be checked and fixed by the staff.
Overall, it was an okay stay.
