Guest UserThe accommodation was great, and the staff provided excellent service. The room was newly renovated, looking good and clean. However, I was given a room facing a side street, and the noise from cars and motorcycles at night was extremely disruptive, making it impossible to sleep. Just as I was about to fall asleep in the morning, before I even checked out, workers started painting the room next door, and the strong smell of paint was overwhelming. In short, I barely slept at all and felt very disappointed. The shower water pressure was also very low, almost nonexistent. It would be much better if these issues could be improved. I feel it was a wasted trip this time and I'm really not impressed.

The hotel is stunning and the location is perfect, nice and quiet…
The Only bad think is the sun beds on the beach they are kept occupied with towels early in the morning and they are like that for over 3 hours
If you coming early at 8:30 all the sun beds are occupied with towels ( by the Russians) but nobody sits on them and you have to chose the back seats….very frustrating
Management hotel they don’t do nothing about that
Overall the hotel is very nice and the breakfast is the top…..
I highly recommend

MyrkStyrWe (wife, myself and 8 year old son) stayed end of March 2026. The hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful and placed us in a nice room with King size bed and knew us by name. The bedroom had an ocean view + balcony and comfortable bed that fit all 3 of us. We arrived on a Tuesday when they do a weekly firedance. We really enjoyed the infinity pool at sunset where the pool met the ocean and sky. The staff was willing to drive us by golf cart between the 2 sides of the resort to be able to access the whole resort easily. The restaurant food was tasty as well but only complaint was that it was Italian food and we were in Thailand and wanted to eat Thai food. The included buffet breakfast was wonderful with an array of options for everyone and it changed a bit every day we were there (5 nights). For us, the location was not ideal, as you have to take a taxi to get to the town or restaurants and we ended up finding a couple spots we could walk to near the resort (Memories Beach next door) and a small restaurant walking distance. We were delighted to find that there is an Elephant Sanctuary next door to Aspara, walking distance and visiting the elephants was an amazing experience (1000 THB for 3 people and food/milk to feed the elephants). We did a day snorkel trip to Surin National Park and the location was accessible for the pickup to the port. I was unable to use Grab for food or ride service and when we did use taxi, we used the hotel taxi service, which was a bit more expensive than I wanted. The ride to the airport was 2,500 THB for the 3 of us and our bags arranged by hotel. It was nice knowing that the taxi would be there and it was a private ride with AC and plenty of room. There is a river that divides the two sides of the resort and it passes in front of the hotel into the ocean. We were advised not to swim in the river, so we were a bit concerned when crossing it or to swim in the water that is poured into, but we did swim in the water in front of the Memories Beach just adjacent to Aspara. I would recommend Aspara particularly to folks looking for quiet, and prefer to be away from hustle and bustle of city and who don't mind taking a Tuk Tuk to places they want to visit. Great place to go to if you don't want to leave the resort. I would have preferred to be closer to more restaurants (walking distance) but otherwise, the staff, the grounds, the breakfast, everyone was amazing. Enjoy the photos.

Anonymous UserThe hotel facilities are spotless and clean, and all the staff are friendly, warm, and polite to guests, making everyone feel right at home. The hotel's breakfast buffet, in particular, offers a wide variety of dishes that change daily. There are also many massage shops and restaurants nearby, making the surrounding amenities very convenient. I will definitely be back to vacation here again on my next visit to Khao Lak.

Guest UserI stayed at Ananea beyond for two nights during my birthday celebration with my husband. Overall, we had a pleasant and relaxing experience.
The service was excellent, and we were welcomed with genuine smiles from every staff member we encountered. During check-in a short-haired lady at the lobby provided us with a warm welcome, complete information, and professional service. After that, Paul assisted us with our luggage and gave us a detailed introduction to the resort facilities as well as our villa.
One of the highlights of our stay was the Pool Bar. The swimming pool was spacious and very clean. We had the opportunity to try several drinks prepared by Marwin, and they were absolutely delicious. We ended up having 4–6 drinks .He always served us with a friendly smile and showed great passion and attention when preparing our beverages.
Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to experience the Kanda spa. When we checked in the spa between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, it was closed due to a photo shoot and promotional activities, if I remember correctly. As a result both of us missed the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing spa treatment during our stay.
The breakfast selection was somewhat limited, although the food tasted good and the restaurant staff provided excellent service.
The resort itself is peaceful and quiet, making it a great place to unwind and escape from work-related stress. Our villa was very spacious and well-equipped with amenities.
However, there are a few areas that could be improved. Housekeeping standards were not as detailed as expected. The bed linens had several visible stains from previous use before our arrival. Complimentary bottled water was not replenished during our stay .we only received four bottles for the entire two-night stay. Used drinking glasses were also not replaced. In the evenings, some of the pathways leading back to the villas felt quite dark. Additionally, several villas were undergoing renovation during our visit, and there were quite a lot of mosquitoes around the property.
Despite these minor issues, we had a wonderful stay thanks to the outstanding hospitality of the staff. We appreciate their kindness and dedication

Our stay at the Marriott Resort was truly enjoyable. Spending five days there felt like pure relaxation from start to finish. The staff were consistently very kind, friendly, and attentive, which made us feel welcome at all times.
We particularly enjoyed the gym facilities. The only small thing we missed was a dedicated room for yoga or a bit more open space within the gym for personal workouts. However, this was not a major issue, as the gym was not overly busy and it was easy to improvise when needed.
Overall, everything else was excellent and met our expectations fully. The atmosphere, service, and comfort made our stay very pleasant. We would definitely return to this resort and gladly recommend it to others.

The hotel is a 7-minute walk from the beach. I enjoyed walking to Nang Thong Beach along a dirt road through the abandoned hotel grounds and forest. There you'll see hens and chicks, roosters, cows, and coconut palms. Breakfasts are monotonous. The rooms are large and spacious. There's plenty of seating—two rattan armchairs, two chairs, and a stool—a rarity in Thailand. There's a large TV where you can watch your own movies from a USB drive. There's hot water!
I loved everything.

Beh.T.WThe Hotel is cozy & the concept is cultural.
But,
1. The room soundproof is bad, i can hear someone walking outside the corridor & even i stay at 4 floor i can here people talking loudly in the late night at the lobby… the sound travel through the staircase up.
2. Overall breakfast was good.
3. This is a non smoking hotel, but the smoke detector in the room are covered, during check out i did ask the reception staff. They just ignore my question on their Fire Alarm System.
Above is not complain, is just my comments.
Thanks

Guest UserThis hotel is located in Takua Pa, approximately 20 km from Khao Lak. I stayed here during a long holiday in Thailand, so the hotel was fully booked. I originally booked a king-size bed, but was assigned twin beds instead. Unfortunately, I couldn't request a room change due to full occupancy.
The room was clean, and the facilities were satisfactory. The hotel features two restaurants: Kram, located by the beach, and Plai, where breakfast is served.
Kram serves Italian cuisine, but the food fell short of expectations given the price point.
As for Plai, the breakfast was average—decent quality, but nothing extraordinary. However, the soft-boiled eggs were undercooked on my second morning, which was quite frustrating.
I also ordered a Whiskey Sour at The Junction Bar, near the entrance. It was far from a classic Whiskey Sour, as it lacked egg white. Upon checking the menu, I noticed egg white wasn't listed as an ingredient at all.
On-site parking is very limited. Guest may need to park outside, after which the staff will transport you back via buggy.
I don't know how to rate this hotel—whether to judge it as a 5-star property or based on the price I paid. If the standard is a 5-star hotel, it was totally disappointing. But for the price I paid, it was completely worth it.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is interesting. We had a sea view room (though the lawn in front of the sea, which belongs to the hotel, was a bit unkempt). The room itself was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious, and the balcony was great too.
The pool is open until 10 PM, and there's a water cooler in the common hallway, so no issues with water. Breakfasts were tasty, and the staff were polite and pleasant. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end.
Regarding the negatives: upon check-in, we found a huge cockroach on the curtain. How it could have been missed when preparing the room is a mystery. We didn't make a fuss; we just caught the cockroach ourselves and released it onto the lawn (there were two in total), oh well, these things happen.
The biggest drawback, which overshadowed all the positives, was the non-functional air conditioning system. It's a central system, and it seems like maintenance has been completely neglected. When we contacted reception, an engineer came up and showed us how to adjust it (only two modes: 22°C and 21°C; other temperature settings didn't work). The room was 29°C. The AC blew slightly but didn't cool.
Because of this, we canceled our extended booking and moved to a proper hotel with a working air conditioner. And where the AC unit draws air, there was a thick layer of dust...
The hotel itself is great, but the air conditioning, or rather its lack of proper function, ruined everything.
