GGuest UserThe environment is good, and the room is clean, but it's very small, nowhere near 60 square meters. Plus, Chinese guests are always given rooms on the 2nd floor, which completely blocks the sea view – nothing like the pictures. I asked to switch rooms but was told they were fully booked. I booked two months in advance and even specifically told Trip.com not to assign a low-floor or obstructed room, especially since it's over 4000 yuan a night; an obstructed view is just unacceptable. However, my communication with the front desk was fruitless. Later, I noticed that all the guests on the 3rd floor were white. This place would be suitable for a stay during the off-season when it's 1000-2000 yuan. The hotel isn't big, and there aren't many activity spaces, but it's mainly quiet and has few people.

PPaul_HKBeautiful location and hotel grounds are absolutely stunning. On the surface the rooms look good but they are a bit dated with some impractical features and water was dripping from the AC vent. The toilet is semi private which is a bit strange - it sort of connects with the shower area which is not ideal when you are with your partner. Also there are no wardrobe doors even though the shower area is right next to it.
The staff are generally nice and friendly but service is very average for a hotel of this nature compared to other boutique hotels, with staff constantly forgetting things from food or drinks orders at the restaurant.
Flexibility of breakfast was fantastic though and in general the food was excellent. Encountered some issues with room service on our first evening which were resolved promptly the following day.
End of stay was disappointing - we appreciated the hotel were able to extend our check-out by 2 hours to 2pm (and able to use a shower room to get changed later in the day), but they made it abundantly clear that if we wanted the room to 7pm then we would have to pay for another half-day occupancy even though the hotel was definitely not full. If the hotel was at full capacity, we would have completely understood the situation. It all felt a bit ‘budget’ from a 5 star hotel.
To make matters worse, during a rainy and cool afternoon, we ended up killing time on sun-beds on the beach before we could use the their shower room. The bizarre thing was that the shower room turned out to be a different guest room identical to the one we had been staying in. Surely it would have been easier to let us stay in our original room for a few extra hours, it would also have saved the hotel from having to clean two rooms.
Given that we had arrived very late on the first night, it was not like we were trying to take advantage of them and maximise our stay - we were just killing time ahead of our evening flight. It was all quite a weird end and so not sure we’d go back or recommend this hotel even though the setting is incredibly beautiful.
There is a lot of communication provided about the ethos of excellent hospitality while staying in the hotel. This specific action and policy seemed in opposition to these communicated values.

SSzakosThis resort was definitely one of the standout parts of our stay in Khao Lak.
The rooms are modern, very well equipped, and spotlessly clean – everything feels comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The gym is also a big plus: fully equipped with free weights, machines, and cardio equipment, so it’s easy to keep up your routine even while traveling.
Food-wise, it’s worth noting that hotel restaurant prices are significantly higher compared to local options. That said, the buffet breakfast and especially the dinner are very generous. The dinner buffet really stands out with its wide variety of dishes – there’s something for everyone, and the selection is impressively extensive.
One of the biggest highlights, though, is the beach. The coastline is absolutely beautiful, and the sunsets here are simply stunning – easily one of the most memorable parts of the whole experience.
The resort is located about a 10-minute drive from the town, so getting around requires some planning. Grab doesn’t really operate here, and local taxis tend to be controlled and quite expensive, often charging per person. If you’re traveling as a group, renting a car is definitely the more convenient and cost-effective option.

GGuest UserVery nice hotel and amenities and right on the beach. They put us in adjoining rooms per the request. Rooms clean and very efficient housekeeping. Breakfast really good buffet and coffee service. Good selection of restaurants, also on beach. Small street with shops and massage 5 minutes walk. The best part is the entertainment centre, with free gym, table tennis and also pay reasonable price for tennis, squash, snooker, pool, archery and a 4 lane bowling arcade !! Great fun and fitness. Highly recommend for chill or activity or both

DDon‘ SebastianoOur stay at the Marriott Resort was truly enjoyable. Spending five days there felt like pure relaxation from start to finish. The staff were consistently very kind, friendly, and attentive, which made us feel welcome at all times.
We particularly enjoyed the gym facilities. The only small thing we missed was a dedicated room for yoga or a bit more open space within the gym for personal workouts. However, this was not a major issue, as the gym was not overly busy and it was easy to improvise when needed.
Overall, everything else was excellent and met our expectations fully. The atmosphere, service, and comfort made our stay very pleasant. We would definitely return to this resort and gladly recommend it to others.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a 7-minute walk from the beach. I enjoyed walking to Nang Thong Beach along a dirt road through the abandoned hotel grounds and forest. There you'll see hens and chicks, roosters, cows, and coconut palms. Breakfasts are monotonous. The rooms are large and spacious. There's plenty of seating—two rattan armchairs, two chairs, and a stool—a rarity in Thailand. There's a large TV where you can watch your own movies from a USB drive. There's hot water!

The location is absolutely stunning. Nestled right by the beach, the views are breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Whether it was watching the sunset or simply enjoying the sound of the ocean, every moment felt special.
The facilities are outstanding and beautifully maintained. From the pools to the rooms and all the shared spaces, everything is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to create a luxurious yet welcoming environment.
And the food—simply incredible. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. There was a great variety of options, and everything I tried exceeded expectations.
I honestly couldn’t fault a single thing about my stay. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

SSherry_dingExtremely satisfied with our Chinese New Year family trip! Our whole family loves relaxing at hotels, so the slightly remote location was definitely worth it for the low crowds, especially compared to the usual throng on Phuket island itself. There were very few Chinese tourists, mostly Europeans, Russians, and some Indians who were all quite well-behaved, unlike the noisy ones you sometimes encounter in places like Singapore. Phang Nga Bay was about 5 degrees cooler than the main island, so even under the blazing sun, spending half a day in the connecting pool wasn't hot at all. Lounging on a deckchair, sipping a cold drink and feeling the sea breeze was incredibly comfortable. Our room had an amazing view, though sadly we didn't get a complimentary upgrade. Breakfast was delicious. We ate dinner outside the hotel, which was great value for money – huge lobsters and crabs weren't expensive and were super fresh. We were so comfortable just relaxing that we barely participated in any hotel activities, though the pool was quite lively. On the first day of Chinese New Year, they even gave us red packets, which made us Chinese guests very happy!

PPithita M.The hotel is very beautiful with a great atmosphere. The layout of each zone is well organized. I stayed here for two nights during a long weekend, and the place was quite crowded since many guests came at the same time. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service from check-in to check-out.
Parking space is limited, but guests can park outside the hotel and use the shuttle service provided. The room was spacious with a large bed. I chose the room with direct pool access — it was amazing! The bathroom was separated into wet and dry zones, and all the amenities were fully provided. There was even a capsule coffee machine for guests — excellent!
The air conditioning system is digital, and there’s also a ceiling fan. Two key cards are provided. The hotel has a fitness room for guests, and there’s a bar by the beach which is perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options.
However, I have a few complaints: the room was quite dusty — when I wiped the table, there was dust on my hand. The pillows, blanket, and bedsheets had a musty smell, as if they hadn’t fully dried. Also, breakfast time felt a bit chaotic because guests had to wait in line, and there were times when plates, spoons, and glasses weren’t restocked quickly enough.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay with just a few small issues that could be improved

BBeh.T.WThe Hotel is cozy & the concept is cultural.
But,
1. The room soundproof is bad, i can hear someone walking outside the corridor & even i stay at 4 floor i can here people talking loudly in the late night at the lobby… the sound travel through the staircase up.
2. Overall breakfast was good.
3. This is a non smoking hotel, but the smoke detector in the room are covered, during check out i did ask the reception staff. They just ignore my question on their Fire Alarm System.
Above is not complain, is just my comments.
