Hotels near Roy Hun Noodle in Chiang Rai

Although the journey to Chiang Rai was quite long, staying at this hotel made everything completely worth it. The moment we arrived, we felt so relaxed and happy. The service was excellent, and my boyfriend and I truly enjoyed every moment here. Honestly, you don’t even feel like leaving the hotel. For dinner, we had Italian cuisine at the hotel, and it was absolutely delicious. We even got to enjoy a beautiful sunset while dining – such a perfect and memorable experience. The highlight for me was definitely the spa. It was incredibly comfortable and relaxing, one of the best parts of our stay. I really wish we could have stayed one more night!

Clean and comfortable room. Location is perfect. Few mins walk from the bus station, plenty of massage shops and restaurants. Staff are very helpful and always smiling. Overall, very good service. I would love to come back and I recommend it to anyone travelling to Chiang Rai.

Like: 1. Very good first impression during check-in – staff are very cheerful, helpful and enthusiastic – a fantastic welcome to my stay! 2. Clean, spacious and most importantly, no insects or foul smell in the room. Good quality mattress, pillows, bed linen and towels - all new and are so comfortable! Housekeeper's response was prompt and everything worked well. 3. Within walking distance to: nearest 7-11 shop (about 7 minutes), Saturday night market (about 10 minutes), Clock tower (about 15 minutes) 4. Spotless and cosy restaurant. Breakfast spread is small but well-prepared with slight variation in the hot dishes daily (kudos to the chef!). Coffee is good! Dislike: 1. Space in toilet is very tight in the superior room – suitable only for someone with small body frame 2. Pool does not seem to be cleaned daily as I saw dirt and dead insects floating in the water for 2 days’ straight (the bright lights around the pool attract a lot of flying insects on certain nights). Pool water is only waist-deep 3. The hotel is situated within an older residential area and the alleys are dead quiet after dark. My room on the 4th floor has views of roof tops of the surrounding nondescript buildings. Rooms on the opposite side probably have better views. 4. TV is not a smart TV. Mainly Thai programmes so nothing to watch if you do not understand Thai

Pros: Close to a community area, with restaurants, convenience stores, a market, and a beer garden all within walking distance. Easy to find, located on the main road. Cons: The bed is extremely hard, even when I lay down on it, my knees hurt. Sleeping is painful. There are very few power outlets, only two of them are two-holes (not three-holes). There are cobwebs and spiders near the sink. The headboard has blackout curtains, no blackout curtains. It's bright at 6 a.m. The air conditioner compressor is loud and vibrates, requiring earplugs to sleep. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m. I saw a bag of sticky rice and grilled pork. I asked to take it, but the staff refused, saying I had to eat at the hotel. In short, I didn't get breakfast at the hotel because I had to leave in a hurry.

What a great find in Chiang Rai. We normally stay at the golden pine resort and that offers great value but I wanted to try something else. Other similar properties were and still are a bit over priced and i seek out the best overall value accommodation. Not the cheapest though. We usually stay one to foUr weeks so it needs to be right. The hotel is at the third bridge up the kok river with easy access by road. The river front location is very quiet and peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery. I spent some time by myself just relaxing and the food service provided by the restaurant is good value as well. We had a two bedroom suite with every living area, two bathrooms and another serviette toilet as well. The included breakfast is more Thai style but adequate with a fair amount of choice. Overall I would give it a good solid 4-4.5/5.

This hotel is excellent and offers great value for a star-rated hotel. I was very satisfied with the environment, cleanliness, facilities, service, and location. It's very close to the bus station and the night market, and the breakfast is abundant. When visiting Chiang Rai, you really can't go wrong with this place. Nearby, there's a small restaurant with a pool table and two small tables pushed together; at first, I wasn't sure if it was even a restaurant. But when the food arrived, I was pleasantly surprised – it was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. Although I had to wait a bit, it was definitely worth it, and it was cheap too – three meals and two drinks for around 60 baht. You can also rent a car to visit the White Temple, Black Temple, Blue Temple, and the Long Neck Tribe all in one day.

🇬🇧I absolutely adored my stay at this charming family-run hotel! The receptionist was incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to assist me . The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with wood & minimal style. It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this gem to budget-conscious travelers and anyone seeking a truly authentic local experience. 🇫🇷 J'ai absolument adoré mon séjour dans ce charmant hôtel familial! La réceptionniste était incroyablement serviable et sympathique, allant même jusqu'à m'aider . I have been there for a couple of days. Central location, clean, a huge fridge downstairs, a small kitchen for basic things (no gas for the cooker) and some fruits and coffee were available. The only problem was noise, as a few guest were impolite, but other than that, I have been happy with my stay.

I arrived from Chiang Mai tired and stressed. So it was nice to find the Ben Guesthouse offered a nice respite with good amenities. I appreciated the hot water pressure and cleanliness of my room. There are also some great restaurants and cafes close by.

older style hotel in the middle of chiang rai that is huge in area its cheap because it hasnt been renovated in a long time but comes with a great pool and gym and lots of parking
