"Overall, it was good. We arrived at 12 PM and had to wait for our room. The front desk struggled with the credit card machine; it kept failing. I suspect they were trying to process my VISA card using the UnionPay option. No wonder all my other purchases outside the hotel went through without a hitch, but it wouldn't work once I got to their hotel!"
"Overall, the hotel isn't bad. It's close to the metro and a local market. The embankment and several large shopping malls are about a 15-minute walk away. Housekeeping is daily.
On the downside, the air conditioning wasn't working, but I understand that's a common issue in Turkish hotels. The other downside was the repetitive breakfasts; nothing changed over my week-long stay."
"It was a very nice gesture to fulfill some special requests as far as possible. The only annoying thing was the fact that there were elevators and many Arab customers. The workers were very kind and helpful. I most liked their employees. The bed was a little uncomfortable."
"The hotel is good. When booking, I requested a high floor and it was arranged. I booked 4 rooms at once. It is suitable for business trips. I will choose this hotel next time. I recommend everyone to try it."
"Otelin konumu, ulaşım, temizlik çok iyi, iki yıldır tatilde gönül rahatlığıyla kaldığımız bir yer sadece araçla gidenler için otopark sıkıntısı var malesef bir de havalandırma sesi biraz rahatsız ediyor hizmetteki puanım oradan kırıldı"
"The hotel was so close to the metro station called Merter. It was so easy to go around the city from the station. The staff were friendly and the room was very very clean. Loved the room design."
"We received an excellent welcome. The hotel is simply gorgeous, we took so many photos! The room was top-notch. Any issues we had were promptly resolved, and complimentary water was available at all times. The staff were very friendly. The food, whether breakfast or dinner, was always outstanding. Of course, mistakes happen, but they were always rectified without any problems. What was a real shame was that guests couldn't really use the rooftop because there were always events, and access was denied. For an improvement, I'd suggest opening up the outdoor areas for guests, like the terrace and pool terrace. We like to go outside, relax, smoke, and enjoy ourselves, regardless of whether it's wet or cold. The weather was superb. Thank you for everything!"
"Everything's good!
JW Marriott is located in the Atakoy, close to the Marmara Sea, very peaceful, safe, and modern, where you won't see the noisy tourists and eerie ******* when stay in the Taksim Square. Staying in a sea view room allows me to sleep in the sound of the waves--I fall asleep as soon as I go to bed every day.
The staff have standard and fluent English, so there is no need to worry about communication issues; The housekeeping staff can understand the needs of the guests and organize the clutter into the right place.
The only downside is that the hotel's breakfast is just so so, a typical Mediterranean style, very healthy, with a wide variety of honey, olives, cold dishes, and delights, but there are fewer deeply cooked foods and meats, almost only a variety of eggs (like OMLET) to choose. At the third day I even didn't know what to eat. In this regard, JW Marriott could do better.
In conclusion, I think JW Marriott is suitable for business travelers with high-level Bonvey VIPs and for tourists who want quietness. Thank you."
"Holiday Inn Express Istanbul Ataköy Metro offers a very convenient and comfortable stay, especially for travelers who value location and safety. The hotel is just steps from the metro station and well connected by buses, making it easy to reach all parts of Istanbul. The surrounding area feels safe and is full of restaurants, cafés, and shops, so finding food or essentials is never a problem. The staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help with directions or requests. Rooms are clean and modern, providing a relaxing space after a long day of sightseeing. While the breakfast selection is a bit limited, it is still sufficient for a quick and easy start to the day. Overall, this hotel delivers great value, excellent accessibility, and a welcoming atmosphere."
"I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Palace Hotel in Istanbul. The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy—perfectly equipped with everything a guest might need. Good location with metro and bus station in just 10 mins. I’d like to give special thanks to Satlyk and Asrar at the reception for their professional assistance and warm welcome. Their help truly made my stay more comfortable. Also, a big thanks to the rest of the staff—everyone was very respectful, helpful, and kind. I truly appreciated the atmosphere and service. I will definitely be coming back!"

Great
AAndreeva NataliaWonderful location. It's tough with luggage going up and down the stairs, so a transfer is definitely needed. The view from the restaurant terrace is stunning, especially in the evening. We booked this hotel specifically for that view. The pool is small, and a swim cap is mandatory; you'll have to buy one if you don't have one. I wasn't a fan of the massage; it was given by a man, and the price was steep. The sauna and hammam were a nice bonus. The pillows and bed were very comfortable – perfect for relaxing after a day of walking around. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is a bit far from the Old Town, and the room was on the small side. However, it was very clean and provided disposable slippers. They offer free parking and the breakfast is purely Western, with limited variety but enough to fill you up. The price isn't particularly cheap.
5550kkThe hotel is extremely clean compared to other 5 star hotels in Turkey. The staff at reception. Together with Staff in the restaurant , concierge and the bell boy were all extremely helpful and polite. Always ready to help. The restaurant dinner and breakfast was absolutely fantastic 👌. The hotel is very well located. It is a 15 minutes walk to Hagia Sofia, Bascillica Cistern, Blue Mosque. 7 mins walk to Grand Bazaar . The interior of the hotel looks magnificent with the old style charm but all newly renovated. I would highly recommended this hotel to stay in Istanbul. 😀😃😄
GGuest UserThis hotel was truly in a fantastic location. My wife and I had a quick holiday getaway, and the staff's attitude was wonderful. It's within walking distance to the ferry terminal and the high-speed train station. I would genuinely recommend it to everyone I know, and it's definitely my top choice for all my future Istanbul trips.
TterentiusMixed feelings for this accommodation. While it is located fairly conveniently near Taksim Square, Istiklal Street, and the metro station, this place, like many guesthouses around, is located in an area with narrow streets making car pick ups and drop offs (eg, to and from airport) a little inconvenient. Walking to the hotel also involves a hilly stretch- to be borne in mind if you have elderly in your travel party.
Staff at front desk were professional, responded to requests quickly. There was ni room service provided in the 4 nights we stayed, though place is generally clean. Some amenities were broken - large cracks in toilet bowl, hairdryer would always go off halfway. And the worst part about room 102 which we booked was that it was adjacent to the reception desk and staff toilet, meaning every interaction and use of toilet could be heard loud and clear in the room - the be considered if you are a light sleeper or don't like noise.
No breakfast offered but a lot of eateries in the area offering breakfast.
GGuest UserThis hotel is very good. It also has airport pick-up service and the sanitation is very good. I originally booked the hotel for two days. After I checked in, I felt it was so good that I extended it for a few more nights.
NNztommyI met the kindest and nicest host while staying in Istanbul.
They even upgraded my room and made my check-in time 2 hours earlier, and they welcomed me warmly.
This was the first time I felt kindness among the Turkish people I met for 4 days.
The room was also nice. The water pressure was strong! The room was really spacious.
AAkif. My first night was a disaster because my room's power supply kept cutting off and they took almost 3 to 4 hours to fix it, due to that I couldn't sleep the whole night and my morning plans got wasted too. I asked the hotel manager Mr.Arda to give me an extra night, (he refused), airport transfer on my checkout date , (he refused) , room upgrade, (he refused) , Then Mr Arda promised us a complimentary dinner at the rooftop restaurant and that was amazing .My initial plan was to stay 3 nights but then I extended it for 2 more nights because of 1 man Mr.Karem at the reception , the nicest guy of the hotel , Mr.Karem and Mr.Arda helped us alot and supported us in every aspect, but sorry to say all the other staff members there had just 1 answer. im sorry we cannot help you we cannot help you , I'll definitely visit again, Thanks to Mr.Arda and Mr.Karem ❤️ and lastly thanks to Mr.Servet who told us about the free shuttle service provided by the hotel which takes us to Taksim .
Thank you, Double Tree
