We had a very enjoyable stay and this was the kind of hotel we were always happy to return to after a long day of exploring Hanoi. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful, the interiors were modern and well-designed, and the room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Even though our room overlooked a busy street, it was surprisingly quiet inside and we could truly relax and rest well. A nice extra touch were the toilets with bidets and the overall attention to detail — you can clearly see that the hotel maintains a very good standard for its price range. Breakfast was good and definitely enough to start the day well. The soup served in the morning was especially tasty. The rest of the breakfast selection was simply solid — nothing overly fancy, but fresh and satisfying. We also really appreciated the complimentary afternoon tea, coffee, and cookies included with the stay. The rooftop view over Hanoi was another great bonus. The location is excellent — around a 10-minute walk to Hoàn Kiếm Lake and the main Old Quarter area, while Beer Street is only a few minutes away. There are countless restaurants, cafés, and street food spots nearby. Tour buses were also able to pick us up directly in front of the hotel, which made everything very convenient. Overall, a great place to stay in Hanoi and one we would definitely recommend.

My recent stay at La Sinfonia Majesty Hotel and Spa in Hanoi was truly unforgettable, and what made it exceptional was the top-notch, deeply personal service. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Linh at reception. What stood out to me was that she didn’t just process our check-in — she invited us to sit down comfortably and personally came over to explain everything. She shared insights about Vietnamese culture, introduced key attractions, and thoughtfully recommended places for us to visit, knowing it was our first time in Hanoi. It felt less like a hotel check-in and more like being welcomed by a local friend. The experience became even more meaningful during check-out. While we were waiting for our cab, Ms. Linh went the extra mile by stepping outside with us. She gifted us a beautiful souvenir — a pair of birds symbolizing a couple — and took the time to explain its meaning. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture. She even personally escorted us from the lobby all the way to our Grab taxi to the airport. I have honestly never experienced this level of care and attention before. It was incredibly personal, warm, and heartfelt — something that left a lasting impression on me. Thank you, Ms. Linh and the team, for making our first trip to Hanoi so special. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. muchh loveeee

The room was relatively decent, and the staff were kind and welcoming. However, the water generator was located beneath our room and made an enormous amount of noise, sometimes preventing us from sleeping. We were also right next to the stairs, and the light was constantly on (and the small window obviously didn't block everything, so some people could even peek into our room if they wanted to).

Located right in the Old Quarter, this hostel is a great, cheap option for backpackers and solo travellers. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in telling me where different services were nearby. Beds were comfortable and had great storage space, including a locker which can fit even the largest of luggage. Included breakfast on the rooftop that is more than appreciated (see images) Only a 5min walk from Hoan Kiem lake (see image).

The location is perfect as its close to all bars and restaurants. Tucked away alittle from all the noise of the main street, even with a little balcony and street front room the noise level was acceptable. Greeted at reception with a a genuine warm smile and a dog that wanted to play fetch was instant happiness for me. The room comfortable and perfect for a short or long stay. It's an older building and the rooms showing their age but all well kept, serviced & displayed. No lift so stairs to room with luggage is something to be mindful of when booking if it may effect you. A great stay and highly recommended as a solo traveler, couple or even friends and family in the larger dual bed rooms. Its Perfect 👌

First, the pros: The location is in Hanoi's Old Quarter, less than a three-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. The price is also affordable. This might be the smallest hotel I've ever stayed in. There are only two rooms per floor, and the hotel is located in a narrow alleyway, less than two meters wide. It's so small that it doesn't even have a restaurant; breakfast is served in another building a few minutes' walk away. Overall, the facilities are a bit old. If you want to stay in the Old Quarter, value convenience and good value for money, then this place could work.

A very pleasant stay at this hotel! The staff is truly excellent: helpful, always incredibly friendly, and available at any time. They also offer a variety of activities, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. I particularly appreciated their willingness to help in all situations, even with practical matters like currency exchange, which is very useful when traveling. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. I highly recommend this hotel!

GGuest UserGreat hotel, cleanliness is up to standard, water heater is constant, air conditioning is great no stench smell, staff friendliness and customer service is top notch, I do not usually bother to leave review but this hotel definitely deserve a good review, however I wish that maybe there can be more varieties of breakfast. On top of that I will like to compliment staff Miss Fancy, her attention to details and customer service is one of the best, I personally feel she should be groom and given the opportunity of a management role. Really satisfied and had a wonderful stay at this hotel !!!

Ssara_du0718Arrived late on the first day and no one was there to open the door. You have to call in advance if you're arriving after midnight. I called for ages, and the person on the other end didn't speak much English. Finally, an old man came, and he spoke even less English. We had to gesticulate a lot to communicate. On the second day, they tried to charge an extra 400,000 VND for additional children. I checked the Ctrip details page, and there was absolutely no mention of any extra charges. 400,000 VND extra per night? Why would I go through all this trouble to book such a remote place then? Facilities: The bathroom didn't have a shower area, just a bathtub 🛁, which was very awkward. The pillows on the bed had bloodstains. I chose this place after reading reviews that said it was very clean, but the bedding was not clean at all. If you're particular about cleanliness, do not choose this place. Service: The old man had no manners whatsoever. I was in my pajamas and asked him to wait, but he just chased me inside to demand the 400,000 VND. I was absolutely flabbergasted!

AAnonymous UserGreat experience staying there in Hanoi, the place is located in the Old Quarter, around which most of the city sights are located along with an insane number of cafes and restaurants. The taxi to the Mausoleum is very cheap, the walk to the Opera or Cathedral is pretty short and in just 10 minutes of walking you will find pretty lake with a pretty temple near the French quarter. The hotel itself was worth all the money, great European and Asian breakfasts, nice rooms and very friendly personnel.

RRalfNeeded a good night of test without noise from streets. This was possible on the 7th floor according to the employee. The room was only five meters away from the road and I think the occupancy was about 25% Maximum. And this is royal measured. The window in the bathroom didn't even close. I asked for another room away from the road and with windows that can close. I was offered another room. Again a window that was broken, but I fixed it in a way it's closed now. Lifted up the locking system at the side of the window, but it fell down, so now the window doesn't open anymore. Small window. There's also a big window. Because of having big windows these rooms are being considered to be executive rooms. Never reared about window size influencing the level of hierarchy. But at the other side of the window there's a wall and it's a very creepy hole you stare in. I didn't really feel executive because of that. But still I got the one night of rest I needed to normally open my eyes again. It's creepy when you're so tired that your eyes just can't open anymore. Big fat eyes the next day. Suddenly the younger girl behind the reception approach me with an extreme humble tone of voice telling me that it's actually an executive room. I literally asked myself if they had the gutted attitude to sell me an upgrade. Never mind, relocation is coming anyways. Hanoi is a very dusty city. I mean extremely dusty. So dusty that the damage and harm it causes to visit this place really doesn't make yhe visit feels really worthy. Also the communism is absolutely what didn't suit me personally at all. I am socially more developed. In general I had the impression that they employees where friendly, but it's their job. Not their job to be aggressive as I experienced once when I just asked the question what sports Vietnamese people.like the most. But this was in check out day. And the sinistry in the laugh of the male receptionist towards the taxi driver after they pushed me into.paying more for what I ordered online completely woke me up. But it's also weird yo say that the new owner is less kayak and in the meantime trying to sell me.more nights and saying I should return. I completely don't understand this way of handling. Asking 30% extra for a early check in. I saw yes when booked one or two nights, but when one booked a week then I would give it for free. In my case I understand that I needed to pay more for that 3 hour earlier checking in. But my explanation was clear. I need rest and lay down in normality, instead of walking on the streets wearing me out even more. The option offered didn't have anything to do with customer focus. More customer abuse in the most possible hardcore form. And this was the second accommodation in Hanoi where this abuse happened. I only had two accommodation totally indeed. Yes that's correct fellow traveller. Horror travel horror. Now comes the materialistic reviewing: Beds brand new and 100% awesome and healthy. Spotless clean and even when you refuse room cleaning it still happens. Very need to do that. Amen to the cleaner lady. Welcome Hall is pleasant. Shower is nice. It's very noisy in the front of the building, but I've only seen one room and I know that women follow the extinguishers agenda from Europe and I experienced this extremely in Vietnam. It even makes me feel.Viet Numb. But that's a good sign. 7 days left and at least I've experienced a bit what the U.S. army experienced back then. Viet Numb for me is more like a Tour of Duty. I see a red door and I want to paint it black. Communists not my people.

MMrsGhouliaStayed at Hoa Hoang Hotel for 3 weeks. Service: 1. The front desk receptionist, Nga, is helpful, patient, and polite. She is always cheerful and attentive, even while handling calls and assisting other guests. She addressed my concerns clearly, answered all my questions, and is very pleasant to communicate with. 2. Breakfast buffet: staff is always on their feet. I see there’s two main servers, sometimes a third one. They’re very focused but it’s also because they have a lot of tasks - prep, cook, clean, replenish and clear all the dining tables. The tables are not always wiped down, but if you ask, they will address it immediately. Two weeks in, they hired a fourth server which was nice because tables were cleared and cleaned faster. There were a variety of food options with a few soup dishes that rotated each day. They serve mainly carbs and didn’t have many vegetarian options and not a lot of protein in general. They had breakfast chits that we would have to collect from the front desk each day and hand-in to the breakfast staff, they’re very on top of collecting the chits. 3. Room service: We never ordered food to the room. For a few nights, we did order dinner (rice, meat and a veggie dish). They can make anything you ask for either for lunch or dinner. If you don’t feel like going out, their cooking is quite tasty. We’d asked for new towels daily, our 2 water bottles, toilet paper and to empty our garage. We would ask to change or bedding every few days. 4. Rooms 614/615: 614 is the superior twin room and 615 is the superior queen room. My mom stayed in room 614 and my husband stayed in room 615 while I went back and forth. Furniture and flooring was exactly like in the photo online. Both rooms had working air conditioner and a ceiling fan and working mini fridge. TV in the rooms were not a SMART TV but we didn’t mind. The room cost the same although I don’t think room 615 is as nice as 614 since the washroom in 615 felt a bit older (the trimming had more mold and ceiling height was low). My husband who is 5 feet 8 inches (172 cm) would need to bow down to wash his head. Toilets flushed well in both rooms and water pressure was strong. There were tiny ants in both washroom floors and counters but it is Vietnam, we accepted it. Since it was not filled with them, it was not a concern. Beddings and towels are OKAY (meaning it was a pass for us) Some had light stains and tiny rips but it didn’t feel disgusting. 5. Cost: It was about $36 CAD after fees and taxes for each room, I booked a few nights online and a few nights in person which worked out to be around the same price after the conversion. Depending on the website promo, you may be able to get a better price per night online. 6. Location: calling for a taxi, grab, xanh sm takes a tiny bit of time because they’re on a one way street. But it’s walking distance to a park which is great! Overall rating 3.7, I would say it is like a Best Western hotels/suites in Canada. Service and staff 4 star, building and rooms 3.5 star. According to google, they are a 3 star hotel and I would agree. I would recommend a couple and family to stay. And I would return.

AAnonymous UserI’ve chosen this place because it was close to the airport. The first thing is I assumed that because it’s close it’ll be really easy to get there after arrival, but actually taxi drivers don’t want to go there because for them is better to get more money from the trip to the city center then driving you for five min to this hotel. Then after finally arriving the staff that will meet you won’t have any hint of a smile on their face and will treat you like you’ve pissed them off only with your disturbance of their peace, the morning shift by the way was exactly the same. The room itself was ok, just as I assumed by the pictures but with the closer look you can see that lots of breakage and damaged stuff in the room

SSophiie/!\ Avoid this hotel. We would never recommend this hotel for your stay in Hanoi. Stayed 18-20 April 2025: 3 days, 2 nights. 1/ Overbooking situation - cancellation the day before landing My friend and I booked two separate rooms to stay at this hotel, the day before the check in, my friend's booking got cancelled by the hotel without information. We had contacted the hotel several times in vain, then it was confirmed that they have overbooked the hotel which caused to trouble to start with our holiday. Hotel Director of sales M. Victor N. did replied by email on the checking day 18/4 few hours before that ”we don't know the fact. You can make your reservation on our website now.” The remaining option on 18/4 morning was a ”suite” 14 times higher rate than our initial booking... Therefore once arrived at Hanoi, we wanted to get a refund of my remaining booking but the hotel reception lady Mrs Ruby was not helpful at first and rude towards us. Her non hospitality professionalism and communication led us feel very unwelcomed (no smile, no thank you, speaking vietnamese with her colleague in front of us). May need to review if she really should stay at the reception as this is client facing interaction and should be solution driven. She strictly insisted that she doesn't know why we only got one room left and my booking was non refundable even tough they did cancelled my friend's one few hours ago. After negotiation, she kept saying as it is non refundable, either we stay, either we book another room. At that moment, there was an another room not the Suite one that just got available ”King room” and if we could pay the price difference which is higher than our initial paid booking and need to stay together in the same room. As we just started the holidays and to not loose the money that we could not get refunded, we paid the difference to change to that room. We paid in cash to get that room. We thought that was going to be just one off issue/misunderstanding and could start our holidays. Note: If you pay in credit card they will charge 3% additional. The exchange rate is more convenient to change at jewelry gold shop in Hàng Bac street (5 mins walk), the rate at the hotel is too high, don't change there. 2/ Cleanliness As we got this better king's room with window, we were expecting that to be at least clean and suitable for 2 pax. The bed sheets and cushions were yellowish, the floor was not vacuum (dead bees staying there whole stay), the slippers are dirty, the wall is stained and some unfinished renovation. The worst is the shower/bathtub, once you shower, it will flood to the room, we had to put towels to absorb the water in the room. You have to ask for towels if they clean your room as they will forget. 3/ Breakfast Be aware that it is from 6:30am to 9:30am, the breakfast is correct as a mini buffet Overall this hotel is average, the positive points are the location and the other gentleman receptionist allowing us to have a ”late check out” at noon instead of 11am, as if after noon they will charge one night more. The hotel should stop with overbooking rooms that will cause unnecessary stress situation for everyone and need to be renovated. To be honest, you can have much more great options nearby, CLEAN and with great hospitality service. As part of holidays and for a decent price, just book another hotel to avoid negative start for your holidays. Enjoy your stay in Hanoi and in Vietnam! PS: on some platform it is indicated there is a gym but there is none. And the hotel team is aware of these comments as we filled the same to their paper review form.

DDawei 007What a perfect little place to stay if you have a late arriving flight or a very early morning one. I found the staff here extremely friendly and they used Google translate to communicate. The room was immaculate and offered fantastic value. They offer breakfast at an additional charge , very reasonable and their iced coffee is superb, highly recommend. An ideal place to stay for a night.
