I chose Gansu Sunshine Hotel for a three-day stay in Lanzhou. I saw that it was a famous five-star hotel in Lanzhou. The experience of staying there was very good! It takes two minutes to walk to Zhengning Road Snack Street, and about 6 minutes to walk to Zhangye Road Pedestrian Street and Xianhou Road Snack Street. A little further is the Yellow River Iron Bridge, and it is not noisy at night. The location is good! Sister Fangfang at the front desk is as gentle as spring breeze! (Sister Fangfang, I really love you so much) She upgraded my room for free and gave me a round fan for participating in the event, which is super beautiful! People are really super nice. Seeing that we didn’t order breakfast, they recommended delicious Lanzhou ramen restaurants and spicy hot pot restaurants around our hotel. They were just a few minutes away. I wore a sling and reminded me to remember to add a coat when I went to the river at night. The room is also very good. I heard that it was renovated in 2019. It is very clean, tidy and bright! (Remember to book a room on the 7th floor or above) You can cast the TV screen and it is equipped with a humidifier. Southerners are blessed. The weather here is a bit dry. The staff who came to clean said that if there is no water, call them and they can come to add water! Because the humidifier is a bit heavy, anyway, it's great!!! The room is clean and tidy, and the location is excellent. It is just a few hundred meters from the city center, and there is a pedestrian street and food street. You can walk to the Yellow River Iron Bridge and the commercial center. The breakfast is very rich and diverse. There is freshly ground coffee, which is super good.

Location: The hotel is on Zhengning Road, close to Zhengning Road Night Market, not far from Zhongshan Bridge, Baitashan Park, Yellow River Cableway and other attractions. There is a bus stop about 400 meters away, which is quiet in the bustling city and convenient for travel. Environment: The hotel is simply decorated with a warm style, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the double bed can be put together, which is very friendly to families traveling with children. Service: From the front desk, catering to the cleaning aunt, every waiter is warm and polite, and responds to every request. The receptionist saw that I brought my child and gave me free breakfast. The front desk provided hot tea and wine mash for guests to enjoy for free, and there were free iced drinks in the room refrigerator. Breakfast: The hotel has a rich breakfast and excellent products, especially the handmade Lanzhou ramen 🍜 made by the noodle stall chef is better than the ramen in the outside store. The chef can also make noodles of different thicknesses according to the needs of the guests. When staying at Mercure, be sure to set aside time to enjoy a good breakfast. Summary: It is highly recommended to choose Mercure Zhengning Road Hotel when visiting Lanzhou. A good quality hotel will add a lot of color to your journey.

I originally intended to stay 2 nights at Hyatt, but ended up extending my stay for 2 more nights because of the excellent service & the amazing view from my room. I switched rooms twice, because other customers secretly smoked in their rooms and the 2nd hand smoke infiltrated into mine, even though the hotel has a strict policy of no smoking. The staff and especially Owen, the front desk manager, was especially accommodating. He made every effort to see to my comfort during my stay, even upgrading my room and offering two free breakfasts because of the smoking issue. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel in Lanzhou - the service & room & pool & gym & food (the Lanzhou beef noodles) are excellent!

The 42nd floor of the hotel has a beautiful view, complete smart facilities throughout the house, high-grade daily necessities, unlimited drinks in the refrigerator, no charges, comfortable bedding, and I tried Atour's sleep pillow, which is great! Due to the flight delay, the guy at the front desk provided free late check-out, a thumbs up! 👍It’s convenient and quick to go to any scenic spot, a must-stay when you come to Lanzhou!

The hotel is strategically located opposite to Lanzhou station. However, if you have a train from west station, keep an hour in hand in peak traffic.It is a 25 RMB ride. Plenty of noodle places and small supermarkets around. Facilities are OK for the price offered. More importantly, they take foreigners. This is an important thing to consider if you travel in China, as not all hotels take foreigners. I did not take the breakfast as I had to catch an early train. If anyone searches for a starbucks, it is three blocks Behind the hotel under the Mercure hotel.
