The location of this hotel is perfect. A few minutes walk up James Street towards all the shopping, cinema, restaurants in Liverpool One as well as the rest of the city and if you go the opposite way you are at Albert Dock. There is a Weatherspoons directly across the road serving food and drinks too The whole building is clean and modern. Unfortunately, we found the beds to be uncomfortable. So hard to get a good night's sleep. Some floors seem to be used for emergency housing, a lot of people just hanging around and bringing old bikes up the lifts. Whole building heating is set really high. Drinks from the fridge are expensive €5 for a water and pepsi. No parking (you have to park at Liverpool One) so if it's raining you will be soaked by the time you walk back to the hotel. It's not cheap either £16 pound from 10pm -10am (off peak) and that included a €30 off voucher from the hotel. I would still use this hotel but probably more as a solo traveller.

I attended the Kabannas bar and restaurant in Liverpool for some drinks with friends as were celebrating a birthday. Upon arrival to the venue, my partner informed the bar staff of the drink he wanted while we were still deciding, the lady behind the bar asked for payment and he advised her that we were still deciding what to drink. The lady then stated ”well I am not a mind reader”. The lady also made an error on some of the drinks we ordered so we asked if they could be changed, she advised that this is what we had told her when it wasn't! I asked to be served my another member of staff due to her behaviour and attitude towards us and we were then told by her that she is the manager and needs to rectify the drinks. We will not be attending this venue again. Drinks were great, customer service was extremely poor !

The place was perfectly located, right next to a metro line. Which was perfect for us as we came up to Liverpool for the Chester zoo for our 1 year anniversary. It was more then perfect and we chose right with places to stay within the city. I will say, I felt the beds weren’t that great and was practically falling apart… but, it was for a full weekend so we weren’t as bothered. The place was lovely either way.

If you want to conquer Downtown Liverpool by foot this Hotel is your perfect base camp. Located on Mount Pleasant the is a sight to reach whithin walking distance in all directions. The rooms are kept simple, but have everything you need. The staff is friendly and helpful, and although most of the guests are young travellers it is a quiet place, so you can have a good nights rest after your days on the streets of Liverpool. You should definitely start your day with a breakfast in the very uniquely furnished Restaurant/Bar. You'll be greeted by the most lovely Denise, who will fulfill your every wish. And while enjoying your coffee and planning your day you should ask her about the poins of interest wihtin the city. Stayed for two nights, great place to stay with convenient train travel to get to the Grand National. Whilst staying we had an evening meal and drinks, great selection on menu, food was tasty and great value. staff were excellent, cheerful and attentive. We had a family room, myself, husband and daughter. The room was spotless, clean bathroom, great shower, nice fluffy clean white towels. We all slept well, comfy beds and the bedding was spotlessly clean and smelt fresh! The quality of produce for the breakfast was outstanding, you don’t very often get this at a hotel, quality of a farm shop breakfast, again great choice, super service and delicious food. We stay in a lots of hotels/ B&B’s and for the price, this place is outstanding! Looking forward to booking and staying again next year. Thank You 😊

The stay was on my way to Manchester airport.
The heater in my first room was not working, but they moved me to another room
All was OK with the 2nd room, until I went to use the shower. The head was not working, in as much as it was like using a tap.
But overall a great place to stay.
I would recommend it, despite the 2 minor issues.

GGuest Userwe came back from an event approx midnight. asked for 2 glasses of red wine at the bar. staff member offered us a number of bottles . we picked one, she opened it. then the duty manager turned up and said that this wine wasn’t available by the glass only by the bottle. ( which was £55) we explained that we were offered this option by the bar staff but he still said no. bar staff then had to put the cork back in the bottle. we asked how they could do that when it could only bought by the bottle and no customer would buy a bottle of wine that had already been opened. no change. out of courtesy to the bar staff we agreed to pick another red wine. turns out they only had one glass left of that one and no spares . therefore we ended up with our 3rd choice option. this all took 45mns from order to serve. some of the worst hotel service we have ever had.

GGuest UserA lot of the time you will call a receptionist and get the same over used explanation and non answer when you are going to stay at a hotel, You have a list of questions and want your stay to be the best it can be. This treatment often gives you an opinion that can colours your stay. But rest assured, if you talk to Sally at the Titanic Hotel Liverpool, that will not be the case. I was extremely impressed when I called on Tuesday 04.10.22. I asked Sally a series of questions that helped me feel good about my stay and even though she said she was new , she found answers to all my questions. Helpful, through and efficient. Thank you Titanic Hotel Liverpool, you have a real asset in that staff member . Thank you Sally , I really look forward to my stay now.

Ideal location for our needs (close to family we were visiting but also within a couple of minutes walk of both the Q-Park and Liverpool One); Really friendly welcome from the concierge/front of house team with a very smooth check in/out process; Beautiful design of the garden room (a perfect spot for an afternoon cocktail when we arrived) and the restaurant/bar area which felt immersive; Very comfortable room which was equipped with everything we might need; Great sound-proofing meant we weren't disturbed either by other guests or by the local bars/revellers; Really comfy bed and pillows meant we had a great nights' sleep; Breakfast was excellent - great service from the team, a wide choice of continental options and a fab cooked breakfast; and we loved the later check out time which took some of the pressure off and allowed us time for a rare late lie-in! The Halyard is now our 'go-to' option for visits to the city and we'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay, which is accessible to all the best bits of the city

All bathroom fittings low level to accommodate wheelchair users which were difficult to use if not in wheelchair also the water tap for showere was very stiff and virtually impossible to turn,off when wet. Room service food very limited due nil chef. Parking worked well but was an extra cost I wasn’t expecting till just before arrival.

GGuest UserAmazing hotel in the centre of Liverpool just a 5 minute walk from the station. Everything was clean and we had a nice cozy room. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. We paid £25 for breakfast for two late check out at 1pm and WiFi codes for the both of us, I would say it was definitely worth it. Would recommend for the price.

GGuest UserSo, to start with the main thing for me when I stay somewhere is the staff and service and this is why I'm rating this hotel 5* stayed for 3 nights with my mate and was blown away by the reception staff, friendly knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. I'm rubbish with Google maps so was always asking directions to things and everyone was really helpful. To the room, we stayed in the Yellow Submarine, massive room, biggest I've ever seen, a few little niggles but probably just me. A bin in the main room would be super handy as only a tiny one in the bathroom. My mate loved the jacuzzi bath but I prefer a shower and although the actual shower was fab I was like Bambi on ice in the tub, so much so I had to stand on a flannel, I know the jacuzzi is the main thing but some kind of shower mat would be handy as super slippery tub! Location was perfect, so central and despite being threshers week and a LFC international home game we were not disturbed by any late night noise at all. Thank you for a brilliant stay and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel

GGuest UserCity Studios, Rodney Street, is an excellent location in Liverpool - easily accessible for cultural and city attractions. The system for gaining access to the property worked well, in that the access codes came in good time and were fairly easy to use. The studio was lovely and warm, comfortable and clean, with good kitchen facilities. The only thing wrong was that the shower didn't work, although there was plenty of hot water. As we were only staying one night, we didn't ask for help with this, as we only found out quite late in the evening. If we'd been staying longer, we would have contacted the help number, and I'm sure something would have been done about it. We would use this venue again.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel for a little break for me & my husband (we are both middle aged). I picked it for location & price. They were both spot on, but I didn't check that it was right in the heart of club land, so we didn't get any sleep from the noise from bars, clubs & party goers. So great for the money, if you want to be out there partying, but not so good when you're older. Upon check out, I mentioned the noise to the receptionist, who told me that I should have requested a quieter room, which I would have done, had I have know that they had them! So upon reflection a) the hotel needs to point out that there are quiet rooms available & b) I'll definately be doing a thorough research on any future city break hotels.

VVadim ZahharovPlace was exactly as advertised. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth staying if your trip is short.
As for downsides, hostel has limited number of bathrooms and showers - this can cause issues if you have to leave quickly. The ventilation in rooms is basically non-existent, and rooms house up to 10 people, so I’ll leave the air quality to your imagination. Sound isolation is not great, so if somebody has a good time in the kitchen you’ll going to hear that. Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper. Cleanliness is subjective, I’m not that picky, but having crumbs in my bed was disconcerting. Some sinks have filters with hair in them. Haven’t seen anything that would be actually harmful like mold or hygiene products, so that is good.
Location is good. Liverpool is not that big and you’ll get to city centre in under an hour even with most leisurely pace. Do visit the cathedral on your way there. I haven’t seen any shops in immediate vicinity though, but I didn’t need them, so maybe you find some if you look. Bus stop for airport is fairly close, so that is a plus as well.
Overall, this is a hostel. You can sleep there, store your stuff and maybe have a chat with interesting people. Price is fair for experience.
