I travel every week on business and have stayed in many many different hotels, both independent and chain Most Holiday Inns are better than they used to be a few years ago in my opinion. But definitely worth noting the staff at this one are particularly helpful. One in particular - Idris. Is the most helpful and friendly person I’ve met in a long time. Nothing is too much trouble and he goes beyond the call of duty to make your stay enjoyable

Had a pleasant stay at Kingsland Locke. The receptionists were all very welcoming and friendly, and allowed us to change rooms as we booked the wrong type of room initially. The only issue we encountered - our room was not cleaned by room service daily. Other than that, it was a great stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Camden Prime Apart Hotel and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The brilliant accommodations, coupled with exceptional service especially their air conditioning system one in each flat, made my stay truly memorable. The hotel’s prime location made exploring the city very easy , and I can’t wait to return to it on my next visit. Highly recommended.

I turned up ready to put my legs up and rest before my early morning train. I was not looking for anything special but there is basic and then there is this! I was originally put in LG5 and told to go up the stairs, along the corridor and down the stairs. I followed the instructions but, not only could I not find the room, neither could a member of staff. Another one told me to go back along the corridor, up some stairs and down some stairs. I got to the staircase at the end of the corridor and it was blocked by piles of laundry and laundry bags! I went back to the reception desk and explained that neither myself nor staff could find the room. He agreed to give me a different one (a nicer one he said!) and said to go up the stairs and the room was on the right. He didn’t, however, give me a room number. I then started trying to get into the room on the right, then the next room on the right, then the next room on the right before I came up and went back to reception once again! He told me my room number and off I went again. I opened the room door to find a bed with no pillows or duvet and no bigger than a cupboard. I shut the door and headed back to the reception. I explained that I was not staying in that room and before I could explain why, he asked, “is it not clean?!” I explained that not only was it not clean, there were no facilities. He then snapped, “so, you just want to cancel this booking? Fine!” The carpets in the corridors were filthy, the staff couldn’t care less if they tried and the room was beyond basic. I left and booked the premier inn. Much better!

The environment is very good and very quiet. Just a few minutes walk from the archway subway station. There are a lot of convenience stores and supermarkets. There are tableware beds in the room. It is very comfortable at night. The hotel is very quiet and too noisy. It will be fined. The air conditioning sound is a bit big but it doesn't go to Euston. The train station subway is also close to four people living together, the price is very high, the upper and lower floors, the front desk service is not bad, next time you come to London to play, you will be here.

I find spa days odd if this is normal. Maybe this is a me thing. £70 to sip camomile tea in a not very warm room with the lights down (I could have murdered a coffee but they didn’t “do” coffee in the spa. Coming from a luxury hospitality background and it being a high-end hotel, I would have thought someone might have offered me one); the jacuzzi again was not all warm and nice so my muscles still wouldn’t relax and then there is a steam room with eucalyptus. The sauna is separated m/f so i didn’t bother because I went with a male friend and the point was to chat… we ended up having more tea. There is no swimming pool but there is a gym. Fair enough if you want that. My starters had no flavour at all. The main was nice and right for the moment and my Irish coffee was delicious. The building wowed me and everything is in very good condition. Staff are down to earth, smart and friendly. The set menu was worth doing. I don’t know how this competes with other hotels but had the spa been warmer I would certainly have been happier. I feel £70 for that part of the day is money for old rope. When I think about it we spent about £20 an hour to be in a nice building and have a £30 two course meal. I think that’s quite a lot. The spa could do with some personality, warmth, music… having tables cleared more often (it wasn’t busy)… something other than going room to room in a towling robe.

The hotel was quite busy however the staff were quite accommodating of my requests eg. Extending my check out, cold room, ice, shaving kit ( they looked but couldn’t fulfill this one) . Mr Nouri was particularly helpful. He even showed me a better way to manage my luggage. The only issue unaddressed was the basin that would not drain. Perhaps telling non front desk staff was the problem.

After reading the reviews after booking the hotel I was apprehensive about our visit. Myself and my younger sister (19+12) stayed one night when visiting the Emirates Stadium for an ****nal game. The location was great, with a 10 minute walk to the Emirates, shops nearby and Finsbury Park tube station also being a 10 minute walk with easy access to Euston station. Anna was lovely and welcoming, allowing us to store our bags the next day while going to the match even after checking out and the room was lovely and clean. the kitchen and bathroom was spacious and spotless and the bedroom, although not massive, was big enough for what we needed and everywhere was clean and modern. The free wifi was amazing and very fast, as was checking in. We had some problems with our room card not working but Anna sorted this out for us immediately without problem. For the price and location this was a great find and we would definitely stay again - ignore the negative reviews! We had some small problems, but not enough to cause an issue. The only problems that occurred were washing being left within our room after check in - but again, after mentioning this to Anna she sorted it out right away! We visited in January but the room was very warm, leading us to sleeping with the air-con on - just be aware of this before packing warm PJs! The hotel walls seemed to be very thin, we could hear people coming upstairs and talking in their room - but again, for the price and quality of the hotel, this can easily be overlooked and is perfect for a short stay! Absolutely perfect stay. Easy to book and check in. Perfect location if you are travelling into the city! Staff were super friendly and helpful! When I travel for business now I will always use this hotel
