If your looking for a quiet relaxing getaway, this is a great holiday. Food choice is varied but hit and miss, normally something for everyone. Facilities could do with some updating but all perfectly functional. Staff are friendly and polite. Rooms are clean and despite being in the 600's it is only a short walk but quite steep stairs, if any difficulties with hills and stairs, recommend getting a room in the lower numbers but there is a free taxi service to the rooms. Beach is a short walk from the main hotel which offers some watersport activities. Overall, we read the reviews and knew what to expect, we enjoyed our relaxing week in the sun with no issues.

I was very worried about my stay here as we booked last year and reviews were okay and it was a first and a cheap holiday with my partner ! However we checked reviews a week or so before coming and they had obviously gone down hill since booking . Whilst we were here also 30 people ended up with sickness 15 of those hospitalised according to another review which was posted whilst we were here , however we heard nothing about it whilst we were here . The good bits about this place . The entertainment staff work so hard and are genuinely enthusiastic and love what they do especially Sarah , Maria , yannis and another boy whose name we didn’t get and a tall girl with red hair . I work with children and the way they all interacted with the children was amazing constantly on their level checking they were okay ! Especially sarah and the girl with red hair ! They also put on a show every night at 9.30 pm whilst we were there we watched flamenco dancing which was great , a variety show which was all the entertainment team . Reusable cups now I’m not 100% sure if I thought it was a good idea or not I would say whilst your by the pool it definitely is as you can get your drinks whenever you like or you can go to the bar and get fresh ones however at night when the pool bar is shut the main bar is so busy that your queuing for a long time and you cannot refill your drink yourself . We booked with easy jet holidays and our listing it said 2 bars 2 buffets this isn’t really the case because the bars aren’t open at the same time as each other so if you want a drink you have to go to the pool bar in the day and then the entertainment in the evening . The lunch and snack buffet run at the same time for a little bit but that’s it . My partner (male will eat anything you put infront of him )didn’t mind the food here however I didn’t so I think it doesn’t differ for every person , I’m very particular and I get worried about being made unwell from food and I found a lot of the prepared food was cold or not labelled correctly so I wouldn’t know what it is . The biggest downfall of the food was there was flys everywhere and we felt we couldn’t enjoy our food as it’s very off putting watching flys land all over what your about to eat , i completely understand that flys cannot always be helped however there is no cover on the buffet food to stop them , the desserts were nice and there was always fresh baguettes and bread on offer daily . The location is nice we took a taxi into Porto cristo town which cost 10 euros each way and we used the app taxirapid which was very straight forward . The beach the hotel is next to is amazing it’s clean ,and well maintained it also has a beach bar (not connected to the hotel ) we didn’t try it as we instead went to the restaurant that overlooks the beach we ate out 3 times here on our 7 night stay ! It was lovely good prices and beautiful views the restaurant was called vela beach , overall the location of the hotel is good for

Honest review , Arrived in the morning and room as advertised was not ready, Maria on reception very helpful, my room no 23 was up quite a few step and the path very uneven, was also advised very dark at night. Once I got my key I discovered the room was very dated and smelt damp, the mosquito net on the bathroom window was ripped and the bathroom was full of mosquitos, i asked to be moved but that was not possible. I was told to return in the morning. I did and was moved, The food in the restaurant was very fresh and different meats and fish each day, salad bar always fresh and appealing. Plenty of sweet treats on offer, fresh bread and baguettes daily. The entertainment and music round the pool could do with tweaking. Having boom boom rave music at 10am was a bit too much. The crew were young and at this time of year the clients were slight more mature. The snack bar was unfortunately plaged by fly's so I didn't eat from there. The white party advertised was a bit of a flop, 2 hrs of beer pong was not really what we expected. The beach is fabulous, and an amazing place to watch the sunrise. I would recommend a car to get out and about as there isn't much around. If the rooms were updated it would be a fabulous off the track retreat 😀😀

We had a great time, staff were very helpful all the time, offered to open up the restaurant when we arrived at 1am, and helped us with the aircon within minutes when we asked how to work it because we couldn't figure it out. Entertainment was decent. Good snack bar by the pool. There's a lot of negative reviews on here about things that are stated to you online already before you book such as chalet / bungalow style rooms, not luxurious enough (its a 3 star hotel go for 4-5 if you seek that) and people being disappointed it wasn't adult only. You only really have yourself to blame If you don't read it properly. There's literally photos of a kids play area in the gallery ? Also people saying you have to pay extra for aircon, no you don't. There is a 20€ deposit that is refunded when you checkout. Luckily we were situated close to the main bar area and pool. Some of the rooms are a distance but you're offered a free taxi service up to your room at all times if you're further up. Amazing beach and views from all around the hotel. The room was a bit dated and tatty in places but clean. Mirror with some unreversable stains so really should be replaced as it does look dirty although it wasn't, but these little things really don't outweigh the positives in this place. Although the food was different every day it wasn't particularly "amazing" we did find some local restaurants to try out and used the hotel for snacks and breakfast, the seafood however was good. The location is brilliant, in a quiet but not dead area with plenty of access to taxis and busses.

Smelling really bad. We have complained for the smell and they told us is because of the mold and they said that we have to pay 20 euros for deposit to use the A/C remote and it will get better. Pictures are deceiving. Dangerous to stay. Not clean. A lot of mosquitos inside room. Not even close to a three star hotel.

Disappointed. Room smelly. Ripped curtains. No tea/coffee facilities in your room. Room felt cold and damp. Wardrobe smelt fusty. Rooms set back from Reception, no lighting on the night, had yo use phone torch. Food, basic. Didn't eat there often ad people started getting stomach problems. Wish I had checked the reviews first.
