I got to stay here because I'm ordered to follow protocol entering the country. I have to be quarantined for couple of days. However, I encountered couple of issues that I think I need to address with. 1. When my flight was cancelled I wasn't given the opportunity to reschedule my date of arrival. Imagine how exhausting it is after a long flight to call agency after agency to get another connecting flights. I had to call to reschedule/cancel swab testing coz of the cancelled flight. I had to call the hotel in manila (RedDoorz near Quiapo Church) to bypass and to consider rescheduling the date of my arrival because it was so hard to get connected with an agent over the phone but it wasn't granted. So I ended up paying a night of a room without even staying in there. 2. The front desk who checked me in was rude, not even helpful at all. I asked her when I checked in if there's a WIFI. She said its in the back of my key. When I got to my room. I checked the back of my key. It's a combination of number. I know I'm not blind but it never goes through. I called her and she said that's the only password she could give me. I called her again in an hour and she keeps saying the same thing so I gave up since its 2 in the morning and I just decided to fix everything tomorrow when I wake up. 3. I called the front desk about the same issue from the evening. They said the WIFI password is only located at the back of my room key. And they said they will try to look for something else and will call me back. 2 hours passed nobody called me. I had to go downstairs regardless I'm on 'quarantine' because no one seems to be helpful at all. Caught them laughing and chitchatting in the lobby when I'm struggling to get access to WIFI to settle some things to do with appointments etc. A nice lady came to my room and help me access the WIFI. It was quick. I asked her how she did it, She said there's a different WIFI password the management just happen to change it long ago and the password at the back of my key is so outdated. So I was speechless. From the night to the afternoon I was told the same thing that it was just at the back of the key. 4. I noticed 2 small cockroaches in my room which I don't really find it disturbing but for a business a running a hotel its a big NO NO NO. 5. My second night was horrifying. I woke up in the middle of the night and felt something was crawling in my back. I was too tired and sleepy to care for it. About a couple of minutes my oranges that was just sitting in the table fell out from the plastic bag. I find it strange but I was damn tired. Later this morning I found out that there's a rat bite in my orange, my cheez whiz and even the soap that I placed in the bathroom sink had a bite on it. I called the FD and someone came in to my room. I was shocked to be asked by a guard to check if there's a visible hole anywhere in my room. He told me that how would a rat came in to my room when its all closed. I'm assuming he is not think

The place is pretty clean. Tha staffs and are very approachable and accommodating. I genuinely enjoyed my stay there.

I had a fantastic experience at Eurotel Ermita. There are numerous reasons why it should be your top option the next time you visit Manila. With low accommodation prices, especially when you book via Trip.com, you may get the best deals for your stay. Amazing location right across from Robinson's Manila and a short trip to SM Manila. UP-Manila, UP-Philippine General Hospital, and other government institutions are all nearby. My only suggestion, I hope every time guests orders food for room service, they should immediately issue receipts upon delivering the food and collecting the payment. Traffic in Manila is unavoidable, but with proper time management and planning, getting to the airport terminals is a breeze. The front desk, bell boys, utilities, and dining staff will all greet you with a warm smile. They would be happy to assist you. If you're checking out but still need to explore the city or do errands, you can safely leave your luggage at the hotel and get it later. Overall, it was an incredible experience. Will I book another stay at the Eurotel Ermita? My answer is a big yes! #EurotelErmitaismychoice

My nth time booking on this hotel and it never fails me. I dont mind fading wall papers it doesnt affect the room. The staff are super friendly all of them. I like their quick guidelines i say its an improvement or i did t notice before some amenities are for request to save cost

Firstly, the good. Good location in colourful Poblacion (close to the heart of Makati but keep alert) and reasonably priced. Good friendly staff who go out of their way, Nino, Marlon and Leo (Nino in particular gave me great help when ING Australia had suspended use of my ATM card given its overseas use even though I advised that I would be overseas! lol). Good security (steel security door) and good value. The bad....upper floors can only be accessed by stairs which resemble the steep climb to the death face of K2 (to say it is somewhat steep is an understatement). Nimble young folks and families could do it but it was a great strain for older folks like me despite the fact that the friendly staff were happy to carry my bags upstairs. Secondly, the internet there must be run by evil spirits - you would get connected and the internet would fade and disconnect, or refuse to connect repeatedly. There are many other alternative internet options (different routers for different floors) however you would get the same bad internet experience over and over again. Whilst there is no great internet even in Manila, at the end of the day the internet here was a very frustrating experience and a great difficulty if you absolutely required it (which is most of us). The rooms were so so and came with air conditioning and were about right for a budget stay.

The Leez Inn Makati is a small hotel tucked away in a little side street and is a basic budget Hotel. The information provided about the hotel is limited and guests are taken by surprise when they arrive to find out the hotel does not accept any credit cards. This info is not indicated on any travel sites like Expedia Agoda hotels.com etc. The staff are lovely and friendly and are just working with what they have but it is clearly disorganised. I told staff I didn't have the cash and would have to go to a money changer in the morning. I arrived late at night which they accepted and the next day I went out and change my money to Philippine Peso and when I returned to pay my bill they said you don't have the exact money and we don't have any change. I was like ***!A hotel that doesn't accept credit cards and doesn't carry change. Extremely poor! Anyway they asked how much I had and told me to hang on to it and they would try and get some change and if I came back later that evening they should have change for me so eventually this was sorted. The rooms are small and old and very stark in the decor. There is a cabinet and also a wobbly old desk and a chair. There is a bar fridge which keeps things cold. They provide a safe, dental kits, tea and coffee making facilities but NO tea and coffee. There is one tiny bar of soap about the size of a 50 cent coin. There is a small TV on the wall with only two English speaking channels and the reception to the majority of the channels is terrible. The bathroom is very small and the shower only has a shower curtain which doesn't reach the ground so then water goes everywhere. The water takes a long time to heat up. Apart from that the water pressure is reasonable. They didn't give me the room I booked and provided me with two single instead of a queen-size bed and the air conditioning in the room leaked and made a huge puddle of water across the floor each night. The second morning I woke up and asked them could they send someone with a mop to mop up the pool of water, and they agreed, but no one ever arrived to do it. The hotel offers the basics and the beds are actually quite comfortable and the hotel is ok for a couple of nights stay but there are definitely better more modern better equipped properties in the area.

Fluffiest pillow indeed! And mattress too! Well thought facilities and amazing staff. There's free coffee and tea that the guest can use anytime. Soap & shampoo provided there's even a slippers. But most of all security stands out you have your own keys for the room and gate. Stay amazing!

My latest stay at the Savoy Hotel was much better compared to my last stay late of last year, which was more of a rollercoaster ride of mishaps. With the troubles we had with our room and the attending manager who seemed to have mastered the art of ignoring us while promising help that never materialized and just thinking he can just give his calling card and all will be fixed. Talk about a letdown! But this time? Smooth sailing all the way! From the moment I checked in, it felt like I was in a whole world? 😅 The staff—whether it was the friendly guards, the concierge, or the housekeeping crew—were like rays of sunshine. Polite, friendly, and genuinely eager to help, they made me feel right at home. And the breakfast wasn’t bad at all. Now, there was a bit of a hiccup with the pool being closed for at least two days due to a private event if I’m not mistaken. I mean, who doesn’t love a good swim to unwind? I had originally thought of lounging at the poolside, and splashing around, but alas, it wasn’t meant to be this time. With not many activities on my Manila agenda, I was hoping for a refreshing dip and some quality relaxation at the hotel. A little disappointing but wasn’t really a big of a deal. A quick note for the management: the wall socket in my room could use a little TLC. It felt like it had seen better days, as it was a bit loose when I tried to charge my phone and laptop. A minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things, but it’s worth a mention! All in all, this stay was a delightful turnaround from our last visit. I’d say it was an overall pleasant experience, and I left with a much better taste in my mouth. Here’s to hoping my next visit continues this upward trend!

My experience at ibis Styles Araneta was nothing short of delightful. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and catered to all our needs with a smile. What truly set this hotel apart was its breathtaking view, which I enjoyed from our room and while dining. And let's not forget the charming ambiance of the restaurant and cafe – the perfect spots to unwind and indulge in some culinary delights. Overall, ibis Styles Araneta provided a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality, making my stay truly unforgettable. We can't wait to return with our families!

It was a quick stay but a lovely one. Didn't expect that the amenities are good. Best of all is their breakfast. I was initially thinking that food is typical hotel taste but my wife and I found it really tasty :)
