I have stayed at The Gabriel Miami Downtown 3 times so far and each time it was an excellent experience, on two occasions, I was checked in by Elizabeth who was outstanding! She recognized my Hilton Diamond Status, and upgraded me, to a person who spends a lot of time in hotels, a upgrade to larger room is extremely appreciated. I had many questions and she and was very helpful and took the time to answer them all in detail. I was able to spend some time in the pool area which was excellent, each time the attendant was ready with the towels and pads for lounge chairs, one thing I love is that the hot tub is actually hot, and the cold plunge is fantastic, the pool was also quite nice, If I stay at a hotel and the hot tub is lukewarm I never return. I ate at the poolside restaurant and the food was very nice, I enjoyed the cheeseburger and I had the chicken pesto sandwich twice cause it was fantastic. Each room I stayed in was excellent, clean, great bathroom, awesome balcony. Each time I called for ice it was there quickly, Breakfast was also great and I love the fact that they had Iced Coffee for me, the library just adjacent to the breakfast area was a great spot to get some work done on the laptop as it has a great ambiance there. I also want to recognize Steven who was helping out during several check-ins, he is a great asset to the hotel, he was always friendly and conversational and he did a amazing job in making me feel welcome and comfortable. During my stay I interacted with John, Luigi, Jenny and Daliana each of them were very nice and helpful. As I mentioned I have already stayed there three times and each time was a great experience and hopefully I will be back again soon!
