Amazing
IIzzaPizzaThoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.
AAnonymous UserThe view is amazing. The service is really great. Someone was very enthusiastic to show me the room. This is the first time I've encountered this in Europe. Although the hotel upgraded the room and there is a large terrace, the building is too low and the view in front is blocked. I don't know if this price is for the first floor. I'm also speechless. But the hotel has three swimming pools and the facilities are great. But the first floor room has a smell. It feels big. It's like the smell of wooden furniture. It's very smelly. Although they helped to deal with it, I didn't want to be sprayed with air freshener again. I didn't feel very comfortable staying for one night. There is a shuttle bus to and from the hotel. When I went there, I forgot that I had walked there. I took a detour and walked for a long time.
GGenesis.MYThe stay would be ideal if the room included a fan, as it can feel a bit stuffy while sleeping during the summer. The location is convenient, and the kids' club, spa, and pool offer plenty of fun for the children.
JJiraphat BoonsirisakWe stayed here for 3 nights. The location is perfect, just a few steps from the train station. Our room was spotless and we love the partial Matterhorn view. The breakfast staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everything is perfect. I’ll definitely stay here again for my next Zermatt trip.
DD12169****Facilities: The room wasn't huge, but the view was amazing, with a balcony overlooking the Matterhorn. It was cold at night, but the heating worked well. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Service: The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the service was very good. Check-in was also very smooth.
GGuest UserHands down, this was one of my absolute favorite places during my trip to Switzerland. Highly recommend if you're visiting Zermatt! Definitely make sure to book a room with a Matterhorn view. The breakfast was generally good, though it could have used a bit more fresh fruit. Plus, having a microwave and water dispenser in the basement was a great perk that helped us save money on bottled water.
GGuest UserI could definitely see why this hotel has such high ratings. It's less than a two-minute walk from Zermatt train station.
The hotel has a cozy Alpine style, and the room was much larger and more comfortable than I expected.
It was great to see that both the room and the bathroom were maintained in pristine condition.
The breakfast was truly, truly excellent. It was such a clean and well-presented spread that no further explanation is needed. I was absolutely amazed by the breakfast throughout my entire three-day stay.
Another great advantage of this hotel is the afternoon tea time (from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM). The coffee, drinks, and soft bread perfectly relieved the pressure of Zermatt's incredibly high prices.
This is the best hotel, and I would love to visit again if I get the chance.
AAudthewayLocation was right in the middle of the city, super convenient! Nearby the Zermatt main station, as well as Gornergrat station!
Supermarkets were walking distance away, and even food options were many like macdonalds, western food, etc.
the receptionist was warm and friendly and even extended us for an early check in when rooms are available.
The hotel was overall very cozy and clean, suitable for a short stay. The necessities are provided like soap, towels, hair dryer, tissue! Just note that there is no fridge in the room if that was your concern. Other than that, perfect stay!
IInFiNiTy BenZThe staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout the stay, always willing to assist when needed.
Upon arriving in Zermatt and taking the Gornergrat Bahn, it is highly recommended to call the hotel in advance so they can arrange luggage pickup at Riffelberg station. Pulling luggage by yourself can be quite challenging, as the path involves walking through snow and crossing ski areas.
One of the highlights of this hotel is the breathtaking and unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. The mountain is clearly visible from the hotel area, and there is truly no need to go elsewhere just to enjoy this iconic view.
The outdoor jacuzzi is a wonderful feature; however, on some days the water temperature was not warm enough, making it comfortable to use only on certain occasions.
Dinner is served as a set course menu. Each evening, there are two main dish options: one meat dish (which changes daily, such as beef, pork, or fish) and one vegetarian option. The food quality is very good and tasty, but the service is relatively slow — completing the full course takes around two hours.
The hotel is well equipped with an elevator that provides access to all floors, which is very convenient, especially when carrying belongings.
MMazola_A typical small European hostel, but for Switzerland, this price is fair. The breakfast is quite generous. However, it's pretty far from the train station, which is really inconvenient if you have luggage, unless you're willing to shell out for a taxi within the town. But then again, if I'm staying in a hostel, why would I want to spend extra money on a taxi? Zermatt truly is incredibly beautiful though!!
